We were driving toward Vegas and happened to stop by Big Boy in Indian Springs -- and wow, what a great decision! This place is cozy and welcoming. The staff were incredibly polite, the service was quick, and the food hit the spot. But the best part? They really care about families: * There's a kids' menu with options little ones actually enjoy * High chairs available * And our kids got coloring sheets and crayons to take home -- such a thoughtful touch! It made our meal smooth and joyful, especially with small kids. The restaurant was buzzing with locals picking up to-go orders -- always a good sign of a well-loved spot. Definitely one of those rare places you stumble upon while traveling and feel lucky to have found. DON'T MISS IT! RECOMMENDED (My personal review)

I am NV local who visited Big Boy restaurant for the first time. When you enter inside for non-smokers it might smell strong w/smoke. It is connected to casino. As I walked inside the restaurant, we were greeted by waitress and seated us on booth right next to main entrance door. As I was talking to waitress, she said they also have Big Boy in Burbank CA. I didn't know that but it was nice to know. Location of this Big Boy is further out in North Las Vegas if you're passing near AF base. It is right crossed from the AF base. Think of this place more of quick grab to eat and get gas refilled before hitting the road. It's pretty spacious and the place was pretty much empty around 3pm on Sunday afternoon. My husband ordered classic hamburger and it was on the point. I ordered wings but unfortunately they ran out so I had to get chili dog instead. We only came because we were in the area. It felt like it was more for tourists purpose because of food quality. More like photo zone location to say we've been here :) Tip: Great for ski goers who wants to eat after skiing.

Like so many have pointed out in reviews, Bob's was a fixture for us growing up in the 70's. I had set out of Tonopah to trigger the camo dudes at Groom, poke around the fringest of the NTS, meet a few friends to see what we could see at Creech, and return back to Tonopah. Seeing that there was. Big Boy right next to Creech was a happy bonus. I will be honest my craving for nostalgic food items has ended tragically before but NOT today! The restaurant was quite empty at 3PM on a Monday . The place was spotless, the staff friendly and on point, and the casino noise did not intrude into the restaurant. The Big Boy Combo: In a throwback to the old days I did order a side salad with their famous blue cheese and (upgraded to onion rings). The Boy Boy burger was as it always was at least in my mind a glorious tower (like a big mac but way way better) with that weird middle bun. The cheese was perfectly melted. The lettuce added crunch and the Big Boy sauce added richness. The perfectly toasted sesame seed bun held up to the last bite. The Big Boy cracked the Top 5 in my rankings The onion rings were perfectly fried with a great crunch and perfect batter to onion ration. The Zesty Sauce (king of a spicy 1000 Island) paired well and I never reached for the ketchup The salad: it was super fresh with onions and tomato and the side of blue was perfect. The only thing that would have completed the trip back in time to 6 year old me would have been a shaker of Bobs Seasoning salt on the table and the free comic books they used to give to kids. I had fun today Newly Revised Top Ten Burger Rankings: 1) The Office Burger - Fathers Office - Los Angeles, CA 2) The Best Damn Cheeseburger - 4505 Burger and BBQ, San Francisco, CA 3/4 Tie: Ed's Favorite, King City Grill, King City, CA 3/4 Tie: Bacon Cheeseburger - Cafe Arbor, Stanford, CA 5) The Big Boy, Big Boy, Indian Springs, NV 6) The Hot Farmer, The Barn, Half Moon Bay, CA 7) The C&H Burger, Clove and Hoof, Oakland, CA 8) Cheese Burger, Sketchers Food Spot, Gardenia, CA 9) Burger, Dad's Luncheonette, Half Moon Bay, CA 10) Single Burger, Paper Plate, Long Island City, NY

Cute little restaurant attached to a truckstop and casino! the restaurant is clean and modern. The waitstaff is friendly and effective! My husband and I shared a cheeseburger so it was cut in half with fries on each plate. The burger came out quick and was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend if you're driving through here or just coming here to Indian Springs, it is worth the stop!

I like the simple men. Has a little of everything on here.

This was my first visit to a big boy and I was definitely happy with my visit. I had the "Best Cheeseburger on the Planet" and was surprised with the flavors in here. It really was delicious. I topped it off with a side of onion rings and a milk shake. All of it was high quality burger joint type food. The milk shake was perfectly smooth and wasnt like trying to drink cement through a straw like other places. As for the service, everyone was super friendly. It wasnt the fastes service but it was more of a relaxed vibe.

Stopped here on the way out of town from Las Vegas. Haven't seen a Big Boy in a long time....memories! We came for lunch and there was only like a few people eating and it was quiet. We were seated right away. This location is across the street from an Air Force base in Indian Springs,NV outside Las Vegas. It's a small casino and gas station location. My husband and I shared a Super Big Boy burger and fries because we wanted to try the hot fudge cake that my husband remembered from his younger years...memories..lol. The waitress was friendly and we got our food fairly quick. The prices were inexpensive. They have some good specials. So if you are driving out of Las Vegas this is a good stop for a quick bite that isn't a fast food joint.

Who would have thought I would find a childhood memory in the middle of the desert. Even with a mini casino and travel center attached it still screams nostalgia. The staff is wonderful and have such patience when we come in with a big group. I have been here for most lunch or dinner. If I had one complaint is fix your waffle maker. So if you don't want the hustle of Las Vegas this little diner in the desert is a great stop.

I always make a stop here when traveling from Las Vegas to Pahrump or vice versa. Big Boy has a modern diner atmosphere with great food and amazing milkshakes! The service was warm and friendly, and our server helped us choose the best shakes that suited our tastes. They do have different milkshakes from time to time, so make sure to try them all.

Turkey Club with onion rings

My husband just got a job out here in Indian Springs and this is literally the only restaurant out here. Luckily the food is pretty good, nothing special, but good. I got the turkey club with onion rings, it was good. My husband got the southern scramble with hot cakes. And my kids got the super big boy, the big boy, and the California Jack. All good.

The food was good though the big boy seemed to be smaller here than the big boy in Downey, California (I think they called it the classic in Downey) overall the food was very good and as I love Bob's, I figure I'll be coming by here at least once or twice a month starting in June.

One Saturday morning, I thought it would be fun if my girlfriend and I randomly drove to Indian Springs for a first-time adventure and dined at Big Boy. And it an adventure it was! Food We Ordered: - TNT Signature Steakhouse Burger ($15.00) with Onion Rings upgrade ($2.00): A lot of flavor and a lot of calories lol. It was lightly spicy thanks to the fried jalapeños and sweet thanks to the bacon jam. 5/5 - Southwest Jack ($12.00): Nothing to write home about but it hit the spot. Basically hamburger with pepper jack cheese and a light smear of guac. 4/5 - Hush Puppies ($3.00): You know em, and you love em! Fried cornbread balls. You get 6 of em and it comes with two dipping sauces: Honey Mustard and thier version of Mac Sauce. 5/5 - Service and Wait Time: Gonna have to knock them a lil bit here. When we were there, it seemed like we were like 1 of 4 dine in parties. The hush puppies came out fairly quickly, but the two burgers must have took about 25 minutes. And there's no one here . My girlfriend's coffee was only refilled once... when the server came back to the table to deliver the burgers. And the waters... were never refilled once. 3/5 All in all, it was still a good time. Don't know if I'd return because of the 1 hour from where we live though. OVERALL: 4/5 STARS

Well..... this brand has been around since I was a young child. It's funny to see it pop up in Nevada. This location is in the middle of nowhere by the prison in Indian Springs. This is part of a small Casino/Convenience store type of place. You may not believe it, but it still is a sit-down and dine in establishment. There's really nothing inside that's special looking... kind of generic like every other place. The menu looked pretty reasonably priced and they do have burgers with more than one patty (double patty, 4 patties etc) The burger was neatly presented, but it looked like the patties were really thin almost like the four Patty Burger was actually two cut in half. The flavor was very very good though. The service was painfully average, really nothing spectacular whatsoever the server just screamed mediocrity all around. One cool features that you can pay your bill right from your phone with a QR code and I love when places do that. If I had to pick one thing that would bring me back to this place it would be the flavor of the burger.

We decided to go there for lunch and were very pleasantly surprised. This place reminded us of the Wilderness Lodge in Walt Disney World in Orlando. Very Lodge-y with several fireplaces. Lots of outdoor seating areas to enjoy the view (must go back when there's snow on the ground). The separate bar and game room has a fantastic view. We really like the main dining toom --- high ceiling with beams, tall windows that let in abundant light and allow people to marvel at the views. The huge bar in the dining room is incredible. What we ordered were really good, too. We had fish and chips and were impressed at how well the fish was seasoned and cooked to a golden hue. Glad they served malt vinegar with it. The fries were flavorful and crunchy. Also ordered the meatball appetizer. The two meatballs were huge, more like meatloaf. Took the second one home for another meal. Our server was a joy --- very attentive and cheerful. Glad we went. It was 20 degrees F cooler than in the city

I really wanted to love this experience because I would love to go back and get out of Vegas…read morethroughout the year, but the experience was pretty sub par unfortunately. We were there for a work retreat and they were very under prepared to handle our group of about 15. The bar was open until 9 pm and considering that it was literally the only thing to do and there was a large group drinking heavily, I was surprised they closed so early. The cocktails were ok, and after the bar closed we literally just went to our room because there was nothing else to do. I think they are really missing out on money making opportunities because of that. The restaurant closed much earlier so I wasn't able to get any food unfortunately. The next morning they provided breakfast and it was also very very underwhelming. There's hiking obviously but really nothing to get you to stay at the retreat. The place was very rundown and the room was pretty much just ok, with mismatched toiletries provided. Overall, I can't really recommend it, especially when 30-60 minutes away you can find so much better accommodations. Go up to the mountains, go hiking, grab a drink maybe, but then go back into Vegas to somewhere better.

Highly recommend all egg items for sure especially ones that require skill to avoid over cooking. Pancakes for sure!

I can't believe I haven't left a review for Neighbors!…read more I've been coming here since they first opened and it's a joy to see that even after expanding, Neighbors is still just as good as always. The wait can be a little long if you're coming during peak Brunch hours, but that wait just gives you more time to contemplate what you're going to eat since the menu has too many tasty options. I feel like I've tried most of the core menu at this point and would recommend any of these items if you're having trouble choosing (in no particular order): - Breakfast Burrito - Old School - Shakshuka (if available) - Turkey Club Neighbors' drinks are also pretty good with my personal favorites being the Queen Bee Latte, London Fog, or a nice cold Cold Crew. The inside of the restaurant is vary spacious and there's a lot of seating to be found. It can sometimes be a tad precarious if it's really busy, but I don't think there's been a time where I couldn't find seating for a group of 4-5. That said, it is also quite loud in the restaurant, so I wouldn't come here expecting to have a "quiet" meal.
