I've been coming here for a few years now and after ownership changed over a year ago this place has been hit or miss with a lot more misses lately. This was my order of Panang Curry with chicken. I went in to order this and waited for it. When I got home (I live less than 5 minutes away) it was cold. I felt the bottom of the container and it was cool to the touch. So I had to warm it up in the microwave. Then you can look at what I got. Almost $20.00 for this and the containers are not even full. This is the first time I've received a container from here that was only 3/4 full. Hay, at least they reduced the amount of rice to match the amount of curry I received. I've noticed every time a white guy is working the register, the food quality is very low. When the cook is by himself, I've ended you with amazing results. Don't know if there is a real connection there or not. I will not be back here again now. I'm given too many chances now after the ownership change. I also ordered crab rangoon and there was not enough sauce in the container for all 5. It's just sad the quality of quick service food. read more

My friends and I had just finished rock climbing out at Mt Charleston, and we were pining for a good recovery meal. Thai seemed to be everyone's choice--we stumbled across Quality Thai on Google and decided to give it a try. This place absolutely did not disappoint!!! The restaurant interior isn't anything spectacular but the food was fresh, delicious, and cooked perfectly. We all ordered pad thai and the kitchen got our orders correct and out to us quickly. The price was actually pretty cheap and they also give you a huge portion! I had enough left over for another 1-2 meals. Service was also great. We were confused if we should order at the countertop at first but the waitstaff beckoned us to sit, brought us waters, and took or orders when we were ready. Quality Thai is a small but very good Thai Restaurant located in the Centennial Area. Inside is only six tables so when they get busy you either wait or do take out. The day I was there the two owners do all the cooking and service to guests. We started out by sharing the Vegetable Thai Fresh Rolls. They were perfect and very fresh and came with a peanut laced dipping sauce. For my main I had the Garlic Thai Basil Eggplant with Chicken (#6 out of 10 for heat). I thought that it was very good. It was also made with a generous amount of what looked like Thai Basil. The sauce got infused with the basil. The eggplant was prepared nicely and didn't come out oily like it does at some places. My husband tried the Thai Basil Dish called Pad Kra Pow with Shrimp (Number 8 for heat) He said it was good but will ask for #7 heat next time. It started to get a bit busy when we finished. The two people there were hard at work cooking and answering the phone so we had to wait a little to leave. It's wonderful that such a very good Thai Restaurant has opened here. We stopped by Quality Thai on the way to Utah, and it was fantastic! The owner was very attentive and friendly while helping me place my order. He's also a cook at the restaurant, which made it extra special because you know you'll get the "quality" meals for sure. One unique thing about this place is that you can choose crispy roasted pork as your protein for many of the entrees, which we did and it didn't disappoint! The kids' meals come in good portions, and the orange chicken was very delicious! They also have a happy hour menu, which made me want to order even more! Given the current economy, I admire how dedicated this owner is to making it work, and I will definitely be back to support our local good business! :) read more

What a hidden gem in the Albertsons strip mall. Lunch specials-(happy hour specials as well) eat in or take out. I ordered the Beef Pad Thai -it was the lunch special that came with a salad and spring roll-YOU get to choose how hot you want the dish 1-10. We stumbled upon this quaint and Quality (haha see what I did there!) restaurant and have been craving it ever since! The restaurant owners were there when we dined in and shared that they recently purchased the restaurant and are transitioning into making it their own. They were so nice and gracious, you can tell they pour their heart and soul into the place. They are doing a wonderful job!! I can't wait to return to see what they have in store for the place. The aesthetics are warm and welcoming with beautiful vibrant photos. You get an elevated feel compared to other Thai restaurants I've been to in Vegas. Now onto the most important part- the FOOD! We sampled a few items and everything we tasted was simply delicious!! I'm half Thai and I've had authentic Thai food many times and this is pretty spot on. I enjoyed some of their fusion dishes as well. Our go to orders are the crab fried rice and the panang curry with sticky rice. But truly everything we've tasted has been amazing. I'm always so full but I still order their desserts because I just can't pass them up. I live in Hawai'i but stop by this gem of a restaurant every time I visit Vegas. BEST THAI FOOD EVER!!!! I am telling y'all, I've tried a lot of Thai restaurants over several states and this place takes the cake. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the service is always top notch. Wait times are very short as well! But the food is truly to die for. Pad see ewe and yellow curry are some of my favorite dishes and Quality Thai makes them better than ANYWHERE ELSE. The chicken is so tender, the veges couldn't be more perfectly cooked if they tried, and the flavor is somehow beyond anything else I've ever tried. Their appetizers and desserts are all addicting, they're so good! If you haven't tried the mango mania or banana fritters yet, you need to. Do yourself a favor and don't stick to just trying your favorite classic dishes either. I never thought I'd be a big fan of papaya salad or crab fried rice but this restaurant made me love them! If you order yellow curry for $15.95, you get the curry and white rice. If you add steamed veggies for an additional $2, they take away the rice and charge more!! It was not clear on the menu this would be the case. When I questioned it, they were going to charge $3.25 for the white rice. Yeah no. ALLERGIC REACTION- I wrote on order " NO Peanuts- I'm Allergic. When I was filling my plate I did Not see them. Once my tongue & throat started swelling- I dumped the container out & found peanut pieces. Thankfully, I had my Epipen, Prednisone pills, Nebulizer & Oxygen- so, I was able to handle it immediately. My face & chest looked like a strawberry for (6) days, & my tongue is almost back to normal. THE FOOD & RESTAURANT I was sooo Excited to get the food, bc I LOVE Thai Food! The Staff was Friendly. Place was clean, but surprisingly empty for a Saturday night, while the Vietnamese Restaurant next door had a line, & the Chinese Food place nearby did too. The Red Curry was tasty. The Crab Rangoon was bland (cream cheese filling). The Pad Thai( that had the peanuts put in it)- was tasty, but had the smallest portion I've ever seen. The rice was overcooked & mushy. STARS I could've died from a Cook's failure to re-cook the Order once noticing that he had put peanuts in it. (That requires a 0). However, due to the Friendly service, (2) Tasty dishes, & Clean space with (2) meh dishes. (That deserves a 3). CONCLUSION I Pray that the Cook pays attention next time to the ORDERS, portions, & rice. read more
