The pizza was exceptional, exhibiting a rich flavor. It was prepared exactly as I desired. My daughter particularly enjoyed the disco fries, which were delightful; the gravy and cheese imparted a flavorful taste. The restaurant owner was attentive and courteous, ensuring our needs were met. The interior ambiance is impressive, and all items are prepared fresh.

@BigDudesBigFoods had a late lunch at a new spot in #RandolphNJ called @BigBitesDeli_Pizza We had a bit of a sampler. First, we had to have some garlic knots ( BDBF barometer for a good pizza place) They were garlicky and delicious double dippers. The Quattro Stagioni pizzawas an awesome choice when you want to try multiple flavors. A quattro stagioni pizza (or "four seasons" pizza) is a classic Italian style of pizza divided into four distinct sections, with each quadrant featuring different toppings to represent a different time of the year. Since we were at a place called Big Bites , we had to try one of their #FatSandwiches Number One on the menu was called "Fat Koko" (a Cheesesteak with Mozzarella Sticks, French Fries and Marinara Sauce) It was a good choice. We had a great conversation with the owner Roger Ghantous of Rutgers University #GreaseTrucks / Fat Sandwiches fame. We will definitely be back. #BigDudesBigFoods #BigBitesDeliAndPizza

Great service and food! We placed a pickup order for a large pizza, mozzarella sticks, and cheesecake slices yesterday. The order was ready in 20 minutes. We have been searching the area for years for a place that makes pizza similar to the style often found in eastern CT where we lived for years. This was the closest we have come and we were so happy to find this place! Highly recommend giving this place a try. We will be back!

THE FOOD ----------------…read more+ MEATBALLS - Order of 3 beef meatballs were fantastic. Soft and delicious. Tomato sauce was to die for - tangy and tasty. + PARMIGIANA WITH SPAGHETTI - A hugeeee piece of parm that was PERFECTLY baked with the same delicious marinara as the meatballs. Side of spaghetti (+$6) was EXCELLENNNT, cooked al dente and texture was great. All of it was so good. + BROOKLYN ROUND (WITH ADDED PEPPERONI) - Great, great, great, greaaaat pizza. Pretty much a Margherita pizza. It came out nice and toasty. Surprisingly, it wasn't super crispy and the dough was very thin, BUT it held together very well still. A little bit of flop on end of the pizza with it being so cheesy, however, it was delicious and flavor was really on point. Our only knock was that we could have used a lot more roni cups as it was only sparsely spread on it, while every photo of pepperoni on a pie that we saw online had the entire pie covered. Not sure if it was because we initially asked for half pepperoni, but then changed it to full pepperoni? + BOMBOLONES - Sooooooooo gooood. These airy and light Italian doughnuts were delicious. Loved that it didn't taste like your typical doughnut (a la Krispy Kreme or Dunkin) and it had a croissant-ish texture to it. Although it looked like a doughnut, once I bit into it, it sort of reminded me of the famed Dominique Ansel cronut. Only knock was that it could have used more filling inside. At $4.50 a pop, it's tempting to buy a dozen. + MENU - Had so many delicious-sounding pizzas (regular pies, grandma, specialty, Detroit-style), pastas, salads, shareable appetizers, entrees and sandwiches to choose from. In addition, their pastry section looked ridiculously good too. And, don't worry about them running out of any of the pastries or Bombolones because they still had plenty in the evening on a Saturday. THE SERVICE ------------------- + No actual waiter service, just busboy service where they bring you your food and clean your table. Everything is pretty much self-service - get your own plates, utensils, which made it easier for us in a way where we didn't have to ask for things. + Request for a table at the counter, sit down and then go back up to order at the counter. + Order pick ups are in the back. + Order anything (pizzas, pastas, pastries) online for pickup at no additional upcharge. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + Decent-size restaurant with tables scattered at the front and toward the side closer to the back. - No private parking lot, just street parking, like most businesses in the business district. + Street parking is relatively inexpensive at about $1 per hour only. + LOTS of restaurants in the surrounding Morristown business district. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Was very bussssssssy on an October Saturday evening, but turnover was pretty high since it was mostly self-service. = Arrived at 5:30 PM and waited about 20 minutes for a table for 4. = Lots and lots of customers came in to pick up multiple pies. = Ordering at the counter seemed a bit inefficient as there is only 1 cashier, so she was handling takeout and dine-in orders, which seemed overwhelming. Every time the cashier left her post to tend to a matter, the line built up to 4-6 deep again, which doesn't seem like a lot of people, but it moved a tad slow. CONCLUSION -------------------- = Definitely one of the best pizzas that we've had in Northern NJ! As hyped up as it was (due to Nino Coniglio's accolades), the pizza was every bit as good as I expected it to be, BUT it'd be an injustice to just call them a pizza restaurant. DO NOT overlook the pastries for a second because they looked and tasted, especially the Bombolones, as good as anything we ate for dinner. We will definitely be back to try some of the other pies because every table seemed to have ordered a different pie and every single one looked soooooo good. Oh, and, of course, we'll be back to grab some of their other pastries too!

Sometimes I watch those videos where tourists go to places like Egypt or India and get absolutely…read moreripped off, and I think, "Thank God I don't have to deal with that here in New Jersey." Well, apparently I spoke too soon. You don't need a passport to experience a tourist trap. Just come to Morristown and pay $7 plus tax for a burnt croissant ( photo attached). Yep, you heard that right. Seven bucks. Burnt. I stopped in for takeout and got a chocolate croissant , a can of Diet Coke, and a burnt ham-and-cheese croissant. By the time everything was said and done, I walked out almost $18 lighter -- before tip. At that point, I wasn't even mad. I was impressed. TikTok influencers who travel around the world making videos about tourist scams can save themselves the airfare. Come to Morristown. We apparently have some champions right here in Jersey. No pyramid tour required. Bye never again... Wonder how much was a pizza here??

After reading all the negative reviews, I was reluctant, however, I chose to be bold and ordered…read morecavatelli and broccoli. It was the absolute best! It was cooked to perfection with the cavatelli slightly al dente and the broccoli had a slight crunch. It had just the right amount of flavorful sauce intensely flavored with garlic with a nice consistency. While it's a simple dish to prepare, it's not always the easiest to perfect. The portion was generous. It's too bad that there are so many negative reviews of Forte that don't ever seem to be addressed. I will definitely order from them again.

Came here for dinner with a friend and unfortunately found the whole experience sub- par. The menu…read moreis extensive and I ordered the burrata special, papardelle with pink sauce, and a lava cake, and my favorite was the lava cake. The burrata was over heated so a bit too melted with broccoli that was a little too heavy on the garlic. The pasta itself tasted fresh but the sauce lacked flavor. The most disappointing was likely the service as our dinner took about 3 hrs and mostly because we'd be waiting for someone to come by to take our order for our meal and then for dessert. It was also hard to get water refilled to the point that I ended up just handing my glass of water to my friend. The final kicker was when we finally ordered dessert the waiter came back a few moments later with the check forgetting about the dessert. Our waiter was friendly but wondering if the place was heavily understaffed. Overall the vibe is very family friendly Italian food. While Im not sure Id come here again for a sit-down dinner, Id be interested in trying a pizza to go.
