Chicken, bacon, ranch baked potato! Yum!

Wow! Heard about this place on IG. My daughter, SIL, and I went today - along with EVERYONE else! I was the 2nd person to enter when they opened. My party wasn't their yet, so I bought a Pepsi. When I turned around, there was a line out the door!!! And then the wait began. Apparently everyone saw something on social media and showed up! Ok. Good location. Very creative menu. Service is at the counter and very friendly. We highly recommend the Irish Pot Roast and the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch, but not a huge fan of the Philly Cheese Steak. Worth a visit, for sure.

Arrived at big bear potato, nice small establishment very clean and nice little decor. Went with my grandchildren and my son and we each ordered our potatoes. My grandson and my son ordered the Lobster Maine my older grandson or the Ralphie and I ordered the great divide. My son also ordered the big bear to go. Man, the potatoes were big, but the ingredients that was on top of each one was awesome. It was very fulfilling. I could only eat one, but you also got a side order of macaroni and cheese, which was really good. So I would recommend going there. It might be a long drive, but it's worth it. If we get a chance, I know we'll go back. Hopefully they'll get other locations closer into town because we came from Aurora. and I can't forget the owner came to the table held conversation. He was very polite great customer service and we even got some honey suckers that was made from real honey.

This place has become our go to once a week. It's perfect for when you don't wanna cook but want something filling. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the food is fantastic.

Visiting from Dallas, TX with my family for a wedding, we were craving a loaded spud and came across this local spot that serves an awesome variety of potatoes. The workers were friendly and professional, and we even got the chance to meet the owner during our visit. He was a super chill guy with a ton of knowledge about spuds, which made the experience even better. If you're looking for a great loaded spud, this is definitely the place to visit. I'll be sharing this local gem with my buddies who live in Colorado. Great find! Make sure to visit them on Thanksgiving for a pleasant surprise

Been dying to try this place since I drove by it a couple weeks ago. I was not disappointed! Such a cute location, great ambiance. The owner was super cool and very helpful. I had the Big Bear potato and it was DELICIOUSSSS. The Mac and cheese was on point too. I will be a frequent flyer from here on out, and will also be recommending to all my friends! If you're thinking about eating here, DO IT!

So glad I visited based on a friend's recommendation! Menu is great with some good choices all centered around the perfectly baked potato. Only issue was that the menu screens were acting up so it was hard to read. Glad they had other menus to look at, but was still hard to make a quick decision. Seating area is ok I feel like it could fill up fast. The food was good and filling for sure. I will return next time I'm in the area!

A few friends have ranted and raved about this amazing new restaurant in Longmont so we made the drive up from the Springs. IT WAS WORTH THE LONG DRIVE! The moment you walk inside you're greeted with a cheery holiday atmosphere and mouth watering aroma of food. EVERY single item ordered in my party was scrumptious and filling. The Great Divide had easily the best pork green chile I have ever had and that's out of Hundreds. The portions are perfect just enough to fill you up and still leave a snack as a left over. The service was great. Very thorough explanations to any questions we had about the menu. The sides were all great too but the baked cookies were French Bakery level of taste and quality. I can't wait to come back and try even more items on their menu. The place was very clean and you could tell all of the ingredients were fresh and the potato was cooked to serve. I honestly felt it was underpriced which in today's economy was a true blessing. Thank you Big Bear Baked Potatoes for making a 2 hour drive to your location worth every second and more! Also seeing these other reviews with one star because they ran out of food is comical. Any fellow big back would know if they're selling out it's not because the food is bad. May want to wait in line earlier to avoid missing out on a culinary experience that's so good it keeps selling out.

Food is fantastic! They're a little hidden but customer service is top notch and food is soooo good. Family of four got the Great Divide, the Ralphie, the Big Bear, and Nacho potato. Giant portions.

    Interesting decorations in the back

When we first came in on a Sunday afternoon around 3, the place was totally empty. Despite that,…read morethey said we could only sit at the bar or on the rooftop. I was a little irritated, as it was slightly breezy, but I got over that quick once I tried the food. We had the steak frites, the Thai pork tacos, an old fashioned, and the chocolate decadence for dessert. The steak frites were great- the truffle fries were seasoned with garlic, and served with a great cream sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked rare. Super tender. But the tacos absolutely stole the show. Sweet and spicy with a touch of crunch, and the potato fries were stellar too! The old fashioned really let the whiskey shine, with just a touch of citrus. I think I would try a different dessert though- the decadence was good but didn't quite live up to the tacos. The interior was decorated very cute- mid century modern mixed with plants and some neon signs that said cute things. Our server was excellent- very friendly and on top of it. Overall, I would unquestionably come back next time I am in the area, and suggest you go there too. It's totally worth it.

I'm sure one of the crackheads walking and down main street would have given me better service. And 4 bucks to upgrade to fries!?!? What is going on at this place? Highly recommend do not come here. It's a rip off. Service is awful. Terrible attitude. No service, no tip.

The West Side Tavern is a unique, eclectic bar/restaurant in the middle of a Longmont, CO…read moreresidential neighborhood. We went here for dinner & drinks Sun 8/24/25 on our last evening of our trip to Colorado. A neigborhood gastropub in a renovated 1915 grocery store. They offer a bar with a great selection of premium craft cocktails, whiskies, local beers, & wine. We sat at the bar and ordered our first drinks from the affable Tony S. And it was Happy Hour. Bell's Two Hearted Ale ($8) & Pinot Grigio ($6) - Nice! We looked over the limited menu with selections you won't find in most places. We had a cup of tomato basil soup ($7), mac & cheese ($14) starter/shareable - English red cheddar, parmesan, cavatappi, crispy prosciutto, mushrooms-excellent & piping hot, & steak frites ($34) - grilled 8 oz Angus, rosemary and smoked blue cheese butter, house-cut shoestring fries - perfectly cooked, large portion. Dessert was a delicious cheese cake. If we lived nearby we would certainly try other menu items. The bar has a movie loop on the TV produced by the co-owner. It is a facinating film highlighting classic cartoons, highlights from old movies, & all the glamour & kitsch from the '60 & ' 70s movie & TV. Quite the conversation starter. There is indoor & an outside patio for relaxing. Note: limited parking, but plenty of street parking, just watch for the signage. Hours: Sun-Thu 4-9:30pm, Fri & Sat 3-10pm, Sun brunch 9am-1pm. A serendipitous find which was friendly & fun, with great drinks & food. Staff is excellent. Thanks again to Tony S. We had a fun time. Nick & Liz, Albany, NY USA
