I was told that the sales guy needed to do digging and would call me back with more info. A week later, still no call, so I went into the store and asked for the contact info for their installers, so I could get the estimate directly. As I walked near the kayaks, an employee named Chad suddenly shouted across the store, "Are you OK?" in a loud, almost accusatory tone. I wasn't sure if he was speaking to me, but when I asked, he said yes. It made me feel like I was being watched suspiciously, even though I was simply browsing. When I went to the register, I mentioned that his tone had startled me. Instead of apologizing, he just nodded and made a "hmm, hmm, hmm" sound while looking away--completely dismissive and unkind. There was no "sorry," no acknowledgment, and when I paid, he didn't even say "thank you" or show the slightest courtesy. Immediately after, I saw him speak to another customer with a big smile and a polite tone. The difference in how he treated us was obvious and upsetting.

After my experience with Nic Lano, I feel compelled to share my experience. Nic was personable and patient in person and on the phone, every time I spoke with him. I wanted my husband to be able to try out the treadmills after leaving work, but getting to the store in time to check out the equipment before closing time at 7pm, was very difficult. Nic offered to stay later, if it would help us. Two days ago, we accepted his offer and he stayed over an hour past closing time to accommodate us. Although we felt badly to have him extend his work day on our behalf, he was so gracious about it. There was no pressure to make a purchase; he suggested that we take our time to think about it and call him when we made decision. This was customer service at its best!! The Fitness Outlet, as a company, carries an impressive variety of quality brands of exercise equipment, among them - True, Landice, Life Fitness and Hoist. I was impressed by how many excellent brands of treadmills I was able to try before deciding on one. Their prices, also, were better than on-line sites.

The associate remembered my call and showed me the piece I wanted. I purchased and arranged to have them deliver, and for a small fee haul away the old one. The delivery was incredible. They arrived right on schedule, removed the old one upstairs and installed the new one within 15-20 minutes. Ten minutes later I was on the cross-trainer working out! Their collection is quite good. Ranges are different when it comes to soccer equipments, but glad that they had all things I wanted.
