I took out from this place on a Sunday afternoon. The place was not busy at that time. I had a Southwest bierock. It was super flavorful. The taco sauce on the side add a nice punch.

Cool little bar/restaurant east of Mendota. Great food, great music. The Breakfast Bierock is amazing and that will be my go-to in future visits. Had a bite of the buffalo chicken Bierock which is just as good.

First time here! Yummy food ( kind of) and the band was very nice! The band that was there on this Saturday night was called Lochanside and they were definitely wonderful!! The spinach puffs were the best!!! The wedges are served with an onion sour cream dip that tastes like relish and wasn't that great. The pretzel is served with pimento cheese, if you like that sort of cheese. I wish it would also have a side of mustard but it was a delicious pretzel. The hamburger is rather plain but the potato salad was excellent! Prices are good and worth it. I wish I would have tried the popcorn as it seems every table had it. Maybe next time

Went to Bierock for the first time and had a blast. They have an extensive drink list including beers, ciders, wines and cocktails. I had the Old Fashioned and the bartender was phenomenal and made it nice and strong. They had a special Thai bierock which was super tasty and came with a peanut sauce. One bierock is definitely filling and a good dinner with the side of pickle and chips. I also got a spinach puff which was delicious. A cheesy spinach filling made it so hearty and comforting. They also had a wide assortment of games that kept the adults and even my toddler happy. I definitely recommend it for a casual happy hour or meet up for food and drinks.

Went here for a friends birthday after we'd been wanting to try this place for a while. It definitely lived up to expectations. We were able to grab a table right away, which we were kind of surprised by, since it was a Friday night. The waiter was quick to come over and get our drink orders and bring the food menus. Throughout the whole time there the guys waiting on tables and running food were pretty quick, as was the kitchen. We ended up ordering the homemade pretzel and the mushroom stroganoff with spaetzle, chives, and croutons for our appetizers. The pretzel was nice and soft and glazed in butter and salt flakes. The pimento cheese dip that comes with it is a nice complement. The mushroom stroganoff was quite tasty and I will definitely be ordering it again! As for the main food, we ordered the classic bierock, the rosemary lamb, and the tofu & kimchi. The classic got good reviews from my friend who ordered it. The rosemary lamb was also pretty tasty, but oddly comes in more of a rectangle shape than the other half moons. The tzatziki dip that comes with it is needed to provide a flavor contrast to the lamb, although we wish it would have been a little thinner. The bierock was packed with lamb however. Oddly, I think that the favorite ended up being the tofu & kimchi. The flavors all complemented each other nicely, and it felt like a light meal. Which is odd given the amount of bread. This bierock comes with a peanut sauce, but I asked to sub the mustard vinaigrette, which was the right choice! It pared fantastically with the bierock! Overall, good service, good food, and a pretty extensive drink and tap list. We'll be back when we're on the north side of town.

It was ok. We ordered a Bloody Mary which I really did not care for then we each ordered a bierock with the brats and sour kraut which was good but not the best thing over ever ate. I loved their selection of beer and the service was great!

Convenient to the airport for a quick bite after traveling all day! I like their classic bierock & mushroom stroganoff.

Very family friendly. The bierocks were good, we tried the buffalo chicken, the lamb, & the southwest. All good. The only thing I would say is beer selection seemed limited. Other than that, we enjoyed the experience!

Bierock and mushroom stroganoff. Very tasty.

This is my second visit to Bierock. I love that they offer bierocks, a pastry with a European origin that you wouldn't find elsewhere. Brian, one of the owners, is a very good man who used to host a Green Bay Packer podcast that was appreciated and heard by many a die hard Packer fan. The food is great, the atmosphere is laid back, and they have a wide rotating range of local craft beers. I would strongly recommend a visit just to try a Bierock, a unique treat with historical roots.

Sorry, no we don't carry gluten free buns but you can get a burger without a bun with extra lettuce to "wrap" it.

The bartender assured us that their vegan options were incredible. MadisonTap features many local Wisconsin beers on tap. They seem to often rotate the beers and keep a solid selection. MadisonTap was spacious with bar seats, tables, and booths available. The design and decor were well thought out. The crowd seems to be young professionals in their mid-20s to early 30s. I don't recall the beers I got here but I do remember prices being ~$7-10 range mark. The bartender and owner place special emphasis on being vegetarian and vegan friendly. Even one of the cocktails used vegan butter. There was a single bartender when I visited but it was a bit slow. We had a great conversation and watched Christmas movies on the projectors. Overall, solid experience. 5/5. Favorited in Madison, WI.

First thing is they have touch tunes so you can set your own vibes for the night. The decor and lighting is perfect. A lot of velvet seating and gold accents. It is a dog friendly space which is kind of random for a cocktail bar but I don't mind it. I pet 4 dogs. The bartenders were super nice. I ordered the "Yes you can buy me love" which was Espolon Tequila, Strawberry, Lime Juice, Triple Sec, Coconut Milk, Mint, Sugar Rim. It was really good. I also tried my husband's "Stuck in a Snowbank" which was state line coffee liqueur, bourbon cream, frangelico, cold brew. It basically tasted like a coffee that was a little sweeter. All the cocktails were great. Again I'm so glad we stumbled across this stop because even the bar goers were super nice.

The lounge has a moody vibe that you really wouldn't guess from the outside. It's the perfect place to escape the cold and warm up with a cozy cocktail. They also change their cocktail menu seasonally, offering something a little fun for each season. It's evident the owners care about the community, as they are frequently offering events to support local providers (River Valley Food Pantry on the night we were there), and have specials for those who we couldn't be without (hello nurses and teachers). This beer is only available in Wisconsin but if you want the seasonal stuff visiting the New Glarus Gift shop will give you the most options Tuesday-Saturday: 10am-5pm I think the tasting option is $8 for 3 pours. It's a good way to try out all the different options before deciding on which bottles (or cans) you want to buy. The Stone Soup (Seasonal) was my favorite, but you can't go wrong with the original Spotted Cow. I think the majority of the seasonal beers were in bottles. I think they come in packs of either 4 or 6. The prices here are pretty comparable to if you buy them from a Wisconsin Target, but the big box stores have less variety. Since I was doing a big cross country roadtrip my weight allowance could not' accommodate everything I wanted *cries* and they don't ship their booze *cries* Next time I come back I'll make sure to make bring an empty suitcase! Here's the 411 directly from their website--"At Palate Pleasures, it's the Chef's Choice. Our Menu rotates every SUNDAY! Try one of our Signature Sunday Brunches or Dinners and see what everyone's talking about!" The Process:: Pre-Orders are done online--and limited! I chose curbside pick up, which involved: noting your name, contact number and selecting a pick up time (every half hour, between 12-5 PM on Sunday). Upon arrival, a quick phone call is made and food was brought out quickly. The Grub:: I ordered The Birria Box, which included--8 Shredded Beef Birria Tacos, Rice, and Beans (or you could choose 4 Shredded Beef Birria Tacos and 8 Signature Party Wings). Condiments included--Consomme (To Dip Tacos), Hot Sauce and Guacamole Salsa. Everything is so flavorful, and each condiment only took the tacos up a notch! The beef is seasoned well and got perfectly with the crunchy taco shells! The shells look like they'd be oily, but surprisingly not and add good texture. The consommé is savory and tangy, very flavorful! The hot sauce is not spicy (at least not for me--I like a lotta heat!) and remind me of a chipotle spiced-buffalo sauce. The guac salsa is like a mild, creamy salsa verde with a different tang from the hot sauce. I definitely plan to order this again, and look forward to try other items in the near future!

The beans were okay, but you're not coming here for the dang beans! We had the option of steak, shredded beef, or shrimp in the tacos, we went with the shredded beef and it was phenomenal. The cheese was melty and hot, the tortillas were crispy, the beef was well seasoned. Heck, even the plating was good and it was in a styrofoam box! I will for sure check this place out again. Their website says that they have a rotating selection every Sunday. And they pics on their website look super legit.
