They not only provide historical information but gave us recommendations and told us fun stories. Howard is very fast on his bike but Melissa ensured the whole group was safe passing through busy streets and intersections. When our tour was due to end, Melissa guided us to a bonus spot which ended everything on a much more exquisite note. I highly recommend PushPak! It's a unique and fun experience even in the winter time. I recommend layering up with scarves, gloves, and a beanie but they provide a blanket if you don't. If Platypus keeps up the experience we had, that 4.8 will go even higher. Our driver, Gary, was personable and accommodating. He gave us some info along the drive to three boutique wineries, but did not drone on and on as some tour drivers can do. This allowed the 12 of us to chat, get to know each other a bit more and build some rapport. We stopped at three wineries: Rutherford Ranch, Ghost Block and Backstage. Each gave us 4 to 5 tastings. At Ghost Block, we also had a very nice box lunch. By the end of the tour (it was all day), we had all had some wonderful conversations and experienced some great boutique wineries. All of the equipment seemed well maintained and I had no issues with it throughout my tour. Joey was the tour guide for me and the six others in our group. Joey was knowledgeable about San Francisco and it's history as he provided numerous bits of information at each stop along our route. The views were great although we got a foggy day so never had a full view of the bridge. The weather was great and I was comfortable in a sweatshirt although the drive across the bridge was way colder than I expected! I felt that this tour is well worth the price and it was nice to have a stress free experience being guided throughout the city and across the bridge. Sausalito is also a very cute town with tons of dining options. When the tour ends, you are left to explore on your own and just have to get your bike back before closing time. I prepaid for a ferry ticket (Sausalito back to San Fran) when I booked my reservation. Unfortunately, they forgot to give me the voucher when I left for the tour so I had to purchase my own ticket on the ferry and obtained a refund upon my return. It was $8.25 to buy my ticket for the ferry (includes your bike) but they charged $18.00 online. I consider it a win. I am super glad I rented an e-bike because there is no way I would have made the tour on a pedal bike. It was a pretty long distance with a few big hills. I would say you have to be an avid biker to be able to pull it off although the employees insist people do it all the time.

I knew…read moreI wanted to bike, get some exercise, just work out and what better way to do it than to cycle! I found Bike Partners online as they specialize in folding bikes esp trikes!! I went downtown a few weeks ago and saw they were closed. I texted Geoffrey and found out they operate by appt only since he's a one man show. I made an appt online for 6/20. Went in and tested the Workman Trike and the low rider trike (with a seat like a beach chair). I liked the look of the Workman Trike better because I wanted the "bike" look as well as being able to sit tall. I also liked the basket in the back. This particular trike is not your normal kids trike. This one it's made by Workman which is the oldest bike manufacturer in the US since 1898. They make both industrial and recreation bikes. It's a sturdy little bike and I am very happy with it! Maybe I can work my way up to riding a 2 wheel bike one day. If not, I'm happy with this bike just to work out. I will try to find a way to fit it in the Prius. It does fold but just barely fits when closing the hatchback. We will try different positions and see if we can make it work. Otherwise, loving my new bike. I highly recommend Geoffrey at Bike Partners. He even delivered my bike the same day since I couldn't drive it home.

Erik picked us up from our rental in Forestville for a private kayak and hiking tour. It was wonderful not having to worry about getting lost, parking, etc. Erik took care of everything for us and picked out a beautiful picnic spot. All we had to do was bring our lunch since due to Covid rules he wasn't allowed to provide us with food or drinks. Erik was warm, personable and a wonderful tour guide! You can tell he truly loves what he does and more importantly, cares that you have a memorable and wonderful day!! We highly recommend Erik and will definitely go out with him again. Hopefully next time the river won't be blocked and we'll see lots and lots of seals! :)
