Our day trip with Jay was incredible. Wonderful countryside and wine tasting. The lunch they provided was spectacular. Bikes were new and in great condition. Looking into doing longer trips with them in the future.

Super helpful and highly recommend!…read more The bikes were fitted specifically to us, and there was a great selection of helmets. The bikes appeared to be brand new and were in excellent condition. The staff was incredibly helpful, from getting us set up to providing detailed instructions and directions. I was a little concerned about biking to Krug and Markham for wine tastings in 98-degree heat, but luckily they offer a bike pickup option--and we took full advantage of it! After our tastings, they picked up the bikes, and we Ubered back to our car. The ride itself was easy, especially on the e-bikes. But after two wine tastings and 98-degree temperatures, having the bikes picked up was definitely a wise decision! We ended our day refreshed, happy, and very glad we chose this bike company. Great bikes, great service, and a great way to experience Wine Country!

My first experience with Calistoga Bike Shop was six years ago when I rented a bike to explore the…read morebeautiful Napa Valley. That visit led to my first bike purchase, and Brad Suhr and his team took the time to understand my riding style and helped me choose the perfect Specialized e-bike for my needs. I never felt pressured--just genuinely supported by people who care about their customers. Since then, I've referred many friends to this outstanding shop in the heart of Northern California wine country, and I've continued bringing my bikes there for service and repairs because I know they'll always do quality work. Most recently, I purchased another Specialized e-bike from Calistoga Bike Shop, and the experience was every bit as exceptional as my first. Although I live about 90 miles away in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I have plenty of bike shops to choose from, I gladly make the trip because the personalized customer service, expertise, and integrity are second to none. Calistoga Bike Shop has earned my trust and loyalty over the years, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable guidance, outstanding service, and a bike shop that truly puts its customers first.

Great bike shop; they can handle your off the wall project…read more A new bike would have been less expensive and better in most ways but I chose to have them refurbish my 1969 Schwinn Super Sport I bought with my own money as a kid. It moved from Connecticut to Belgium, to Miami and now California with me. I wanted a flatter bar, three piece crank and a modern derailleur and, of course, needed new tires, steering head bearing work, brake setup and new cables. So not cheap, but within what I expected and I can't complain about the results. Before and after in the photos. They even retained one of the steering head original shifters to shift the now one by 9 (or is it eight) sprocket setup. Highly recommend these folks.

I show up at opening on a Saturday with a tight timeline as we have to leave early that afternoon (completely unreasonable). They figured it out with what they had in stock and had us off to the venue that afternoon with working dropper post! This is just the most recent excellent service experience i've had with these guys. I've also stopped in with random issues like broken brake lever and breaking the end off a bolt from over-torquing (user error) Highly recommended these guys for servicing your bike!

A great shop for bikes and a knowledgeable staff to run it…read more I had bought a Santa Cruz Mountain Bike, all spiffed up, for a good price from a coworker, and didn't realize what I had gotten myself into. . The street and mountain bike world intimidated me until I realized I had a local shop that knows what they're doing. My mountain biking friend has also gone here and found it a great place. I've been to Mike's Bikes of Petaluma only a few times picking up some equipment for a first time mountain biker (sure I've done it once or twice when I was a kid, but now it was getting serious). It's a pretty big inside, and full of bikes and all the equipment and swag one might need. The service is super great and friendly. . Dare I saw patient too with a newbie like myself. I had gone inside wondering what kind of air pump fit my bike (not knowing there were special ones). You can also schedule a test ride or schedule your bikes to be worked on. It's nice to know that every time I go inside there's remarkable service, and I'll find what I'm looking for. Biking community. . Watch out. . a new mountain biker has been born.

After I pointed out their mistake, they attempted to quickly fix their mistake.. clearly a rush job, very low quality, incomplete work. Ive been a customer for decades..they lost a customer, I will not go back. Do not support this chain, go support a local bike shop instead.

Later, I received an email from Velofix saying the time was actually 11 AM-1 PM, but I didn't notice the change right away. On the morning of the appointment, I called Velofix to clarify, and the representative told me it was too late to adjust anything and that I should've contacted them earlier. I let it go and agreed to keep the 11-1 window, rearranging my work schedule to be available. No one showed up. At 1:30 PM, I had to call my wife to let her know, and she followed up with Velofix -- only to be told the case had been closed because the service was "out of scope." No one informed me. I was literally on the phone with them that same morning and they said nothing about not coming. This whole experience showed a complete lack of communication and disregard for people's time. I won't be using Velofix again and wouldn't recommend them.
