Great customer service, great service, efficient and reasonably priced. I'm recommending them to all my coworkers with e-bikes that commute with me and live in town.

When I came back with my bike rack and my wife, she had questions for Matt regarding an electric cruiser. He directed her to an Electra Townie, with a paint scheme that looked like the clouds at sunset in Hawaii (she's Hawaiian). This bike checked all the boxes for her as well. He was able to answer her many questions and give her some pointers from first hand experience. He and his wife own the same bike. The street and mountain bike world intimidated me until I realized I had a local shop that knows what they're doing. My mountain biking friend has also gone here and found it a great place. I've been to Mike's Bikes of Petaluma only a few times picking up some equipment for a first time mountain biker (sure I've done it once or twice when I was a kid, but now it was getting serious). It's a pretty big inside, and full of bikes and all the equipment and swag one might need. The service is super great and friendly. . Dare I saw patient too with a newbie like myself. I had gone inside wondering what kind of air pump fit my bike (not knowing there were special ones). You can also schedule a test ride or schedule your bikes to be worked on. It's nice to know that every time I go inside there's remarkable service, and I'll find what I'm looking for. Biking community. . Watch out. . a new mountain biker has been born.

They were able to help me out on a busy Saturday to get it fixed in the amount of time it took to go eat lunch while waiting! He always wanted to sit on the ones we saw parked and stand on the running boards. We finally went into our local store (San Francyclo) and took one for a test drive with our son on the back. It was pretty much over as soon as he saw it and I think it's fair to say he's in love with our new Spicy Curry. He regularly says "Wow, this is so fun!" which makes us smile every time. We can bike him to and from daycare (2.5 miles) on it and with the pedal assist I almost feel guilty it's so easy. The hills are no problem and we're passing folks on regular bikes. We went to my work yesterday and rode down the wiggle. He couldn't stop talking about everything he was seeing. The Yuba is a solid bike and we like that the wheels and tires are fat and built to withstand San Francisco's diabolical roads and potholes. You can add all kinds of accessories to suit your needs. We added the Yepp mini for our son and the soft spot padded seat. We can actually easily fit the three of us on the bike and it's just as easy to bike around. If you're thinking about getting a Yuba I'd highly recommend it. It really is so fun.

In 2012, I checked out a set of Rolf Elan wheelsets running WI hubs, I was not impressed due to…read moreperceived bearing friction. Fast forward to 2015, once again I'm looking to build a wheelset to spin on my 2015 Di2 Specialized S-Works Tarmac. I came across a YouTube link on WI T-11 hub sound. Amazingly there were quiet and spun and spun and spun [freewheel]. I checked Fairwheel Bikes and Wheelbuilder hub reviews and was pleased with what I read about the T11's. So I hunted down a new pair of Rolf Elan's to check freehub noise and spin and was very pleased in the results. OK, these are the hubs going on my custom build wheelset, not DT Swiss requiring special tools, not Chris Kings also requiring special tools. Yeah, I could go with lighter hubs but I wanted durability, functionality, and smooth operability not something I had to tinker with constantly. I ordered black T-11's laced to Sapim CX-Ray spokes [20/24] onto Pacenti SL-23 v2 rims. Total weight is 1385 grams. The day they arrived I was away from home. My grandson signed for them and proceeded to pull the freehub to inspect the lube/grease. When putting it back he damaged/bent the pawl springs. Arrrgghhhh!!! I sent WI an email. Lynette Toepfer responds quickly. I call her the next day to finalize how/what should be done. Lynette states she could mail the the pawl springs or I could send the freehub up to her. I chose the latter. Lynette also stated the repair work would be a FREEBEE! A week later I had the freehub back in my hands. Now this is what I call Super Service! 10 stars for super friendly service! 5 more stars for hubs that are magnificent to ride on; quiet, smooth, engages quickly. 5 more stars for the ease of servicing the hubs. Check YouTube for instructions. Keep in mind the hubs should look and operate as expected, and most important of all how the company handles your situation when issues/problems arise. This is what makes White Industries top notch in my books!

Not those $30 a pop, cheap BMX ones, but longer lasting ones. The slight buzz generated in the rear of my bike leaves me with that warm fuzzing feeling.
