I'm used to dropping my bikes at our local Specialized dealer and leaving them sit in line for a few days until there number is up and a mechanic gets after them. If all went right, I usually was separated from my ride for a week or so. I went to the online calander and found the appointment time that worked for me. Mat showed up right on time (7:00AM) I tasked him with tuning up 2 mountain bikes and a road bike. It had been awhile since my rides had received any professional love, and we're very much in need. Before I left for work he had inspected all three bikes and had quoted his recommendations (new Continental road tire, bar tape, and tire goo). He had all the parts in his van, so no delays. I went to work and gave Mat the instructions on how to lock the bikes up in the garage when he was finished. Around 11:30 he called me and went over all the notes on work order. When I got home that evening I checked out the job and was totally satisfied with the quality of the work and the process in general. No loading, unloading and hauling around bikes, and trying to pick them up before the store closes. I totally recommend Beeline and will continue to use their services in the future. It's great having that personal relationship with my bike mechanic, instead of just checking it in and hoping for the best.

It was so much easier for me to have in-home service rather than having to take the bike somewhere and pick it up. Plus the service was excellent - my serviceperson, Thaison, actually brought my bike back the next day because he had to tweak one of the parts. I ended up purchasing from them and am quite happy with my new bike and their customer service. They also rent eBikes here and have suggestions for nice country paths to take originating from their shop, up to varies wineries. I plan on taking my new bike on some of these paths sometime. Revel is not just a bike shop but they also do repairs and tune ups, and sell various accessories such as locks and Camelback Podium water bottles, etc. They're friendly and accommodating here and I dig the location in The Barlow shopping district, which is really nice.

Instead I took my BIKE FRIDAY to Dan at Revel Cycles. He repaired with tools and parts he had in the shop. Took him about an hour and he charged me a very reasonable rate. What I thought was gonna be complicated for me turned out to be straightforward at Revel Cycles. Revel Cycles is full sales and service bike shop. It appears to have a large selection of new bikes and accessories. I would highly recommend checking out Revel in the Sebastopol Barlow for your cycle needs.

Great bike shop; they can handle your off the wall project…read more A new bike would have been less expensive and better in most ways but I chose to have them refurbish my 1969 Schwinn Super Sport I bought with my own money as a kid. It moved from Connecticut to Belgium, to Miami and now California with me. I wanted a flatter bar, three piece crank and a modern derailleur and, of course, needed new tires, steering head bearing work, brake setup and new cables. So not cheap, but within what I expected and I can't complain about the results. Before and after in the photos. They even retained one of the steering head original shifters to shift the now one by 9 (or is it eight) sprocket setup. Highly recommend these folks.

I show up at opening on a Saturday with a tight timeline as we have to leave early that afternoon (completely unreasonable). They figured it out with what they had in stock and had us off to the venue that afternoon with working dropper post! This is just the most recent excellent service experience i've had with these guys. I've also stopped in with random issues like broken brake lever and breaking the end off a bolt from over-torquing (user error) Highly recommended these guys for servicing your bike!
