Great local resource - lots of in stock parts for older bikes, and you get up-sold on a "new" or "better" solution...

The tires were somewhat old and cracked and Tim ended up replacing them completely for what seemed like a reasonable price.

Booking a mobile bike mechanic online did feel a little strange, A friend told me about Beeline…read morebikes Mobil service. I'm used to dropping my bikes at our local Specialized dealer and leaving them sit in line for a few days until there number is up and a mechanic gets after them. If all went right, I usually was separated from my ride for a week or so. I went to the online calander and found the appointment time that worked for me. Mat showed up right on time (7:00AM) I tasked him with tuning up 2 mountain bikes and a road bike. It had been awhile since my rides had received any professional love, and we're very much in need. Before I left for work he had inspected all three bikes and had quoted his recommendations (new Continental road tire, bar tape, and tire goo). He had all the parts in his van, so no delays. I went to work and gave Mat the instructions on how to lock the bikes up in the garage when he was finished. Around 11:30 he called me and went over all the notes on work order. When I got home that evening I checked out the job and was totally satisfied with the quality of the work and the process in general. No loading, unloading and hauling around bikes, and trying to pick them up before the store closes. I totally recommend Beeline and will continue to use their services in the future. It's great having that personal relationship with my bike mechanic, instead of just checking it in and hoping for the best.

Once it came, I didn't know where to get it put together and the whole thing felt like a huge hassle. I was so happy to find Beeline. It was so much easier for me to have in-home service rather than having to take the bike somewhere and pick it up. Plus the service was excellent - my serviceperson, Thaison, actually brought my bike back the next day because he had to tweak one of the parts. Then he spent about 20 minutes showing me all its features! Amazing for the price I had paid, just $110. Great deal, highly recommended.

Since it was my first time, a store staff member described where to go and personally walked me over to the repair shop - - a nice touch! At the repair shop, Julian(?) looked over my bike tire, told me what he would do, and what the maximum cost would be. He was straightforward and efficient. Since I started work in two hours, I asked him if there was any way it could be done within an hour, so I'd be able to get a ride in. He said that there was a good chance of that and he would do his best. 15 minutes later, he texted me to let me know that the bike my bike was ready! Not only was it ready fast, but the cost was far below what I was quoted, so that was really great! When I got home to ride it, I noticed that he had also tightened my brakes and had added an air cap to the tire. Really thoughtful touches I will definitely come back to this bike shop again!!

We parked by the service shop because they don't have a big sign up yet and the owner, Akio, pointed us to the right place while he assessed the pedal that I couldn't tighten down when I changed pedals out for my friend the night before. My friend and I picked up a few things in the shop - and Akio gave me an estimate and was able to work on the bike right away. While we waited, my friend did a test ride of a new bicycle and the two young men in the shop were exceedingly polite, helpful and charming. I look forward to stopping by there in the future and may make plans to have bicycle tune ups or repairs done there as a wait in downtown Petaluma is much more appealing than other options!

Coming from a…read morerunning and cycling background, triathlon was a new territory for me, and I wanted to make sure I was properly set up on the bike. What made the experience even more reassuring is that Dr. Julia is not only a bike fit specialist, but also a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a very competitive athlete in the world of cycling and triathlon. Having someone who truly understands both the science of the body and the demands of the sport made all the difference. She took the time to understand my mobility, my goals, and explained every adjustment along the way. The process felt very intentional and personalized. After my fit, I immediately noticed improved comfort and confidence on the bike, especially during the test ride out. If you're getting into triathlon or want to ride stronger and pain-free, working with someone like Dr. Julia is truly invaluable. I'm thankful she was part of my journey to my first triathlon. Please visit her and book soon!

I am so thankful that Julie was so accommodating and kind. The helmet fit perfectly and our toddler loves it! I can't wait to return back to AC Bike Shop for future biking needs. I can't recommended them enough. 5 stars isn't enough.

I went downtown a few weeks ago and saw they were closed. I texted Geoffrey and found out they operate by appt only since he's a one man show. I made an appt online for 6/20. Went in and tested the Workman Trike and the low rider trike (with a seat like a beach chair). I liked the look of the Workman Trike better because I wanted the "bike" look as well as being able to sit tall. I also liked the basket in the back. This particular trike is not your normal kids trike. This one it's made by Workman which is the oldest bike manufacturer in the US since 1898. They make both industrial and recreation bikes. It's a sturdy little bike and I am very happy with it! Maybe I can work my way up to riding a 2 wheel bike one day. If not, I'm happy with this bike just to work out. I will try to find a way to fit it in the Prius. It does fold but just barely fits when closing the hatchback. We will try different positions and see if we can make it work. Otherwise, loving my new bike. I highly recommend Geoffrey at Bike Partners. He even delivered my bike the same day since I couldn't drive it home.
