Staff is so friendly and the pizza was amazing! So fresh and flavorful. Will be back for the pasta !!!
This is our second time at this location. I am glad they open this place up so we don't have to drive to willow glenn anymore to get their pizzas. The two times we came here in the evening, we found parking right away. There is a lot of space inside with many seating. They have multiple tv's around so you can catch the game no matter where u sit without needing to turn around. The staff were very friendly and they did not rush us to leave after closing time the first time we were there. They have a good selection of beer and pricing was on par with other places. We ordered pizza, wings, fries, and pasta. Of course we ordered beers to wash down the food. They offer 6 beer flights which was a good idea since you can try different type of beers. They also have pliny the elder served daily here. The fries were really good. They were crisp and have the right amount of oil. I can just munch on these all day while sitting and watching the game there. We always have to order wings when we see a place that offer wings. The wing sauce was ok and the wings were a little dry. I like my wings tender and juicy. We also ordered some pasta which I forgot to take a picture of. We ordered the hot classic and built our own pasta like the chicken alfredo and creamy truffle ravioli. The pasta has a lot of flavor and I would definitely recommend getting the pasta. The meatballs have good seasoning and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The pizza is the real reason you would come here. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. They did not overdo it with the sauce and the crust is amazing. The crust is thin and isn't dry or crisp. It is soft and if you pick the pizza up wrong, the toppings will fall off. I would fold my pizza in half when i pick it up to keep all the toppings on the pizza. Like I said, the pizza tastes so good. If you have been to Bibo's other locations, you should definitely check this location if you are in the area. They have a good amount of space to accommodate a big group. The price was decent and definitely worth every penny. Cone out and give this place a try if you love pizza, pasta, fries, beer, or just want to find a place to catch a game or hang out with friends and family. The staff will definitely make you feel welcome.
The crust here is really good! Good texture for a classic NY thin crust. I recommend the Spicy Italian or just a simple Pepperoni slice! I love adding some hot honey too. The Caesar Salad was also great. Perfectly dressed. The service here was great! The staff went above and beyond with friendliness. Checking up on us and providing anything we needed. We had a good time and will be back :)
Pretty sure the wife and I have been to multiple Bibos at this point and none have disappointed. This was no different. This was the first time getting a pasta from them and it was still really good. The vodka sauce that was on there was very tasty and wish I didn't share with the family so I could have had it to myself. The pizza from here is always solid. Never have an issue with it at all. The place itself seems less... pizzaria than others. Not sure if that makes sense but the other ones felt a little more hole in the wall and family owned. Not that this place looked bad.. just different. Service was great as always as well. Helpful and friendly.
This is our 1st time here. The staff was friendly and helpful. We made a few special requests and they accommodated us without question. There was only one other couple in the restaurant so our food came out quick. Being only 4 months open everything was spotless, restaurant floors, tables, restrooms. Pizza 9/10, center was a little soft due to the Vegi juices. Arancini, 10/10, cooked perfect and I enjoyed the added ricotta. Wings, Calbrese Pepper Sauce 9/10 spicy Wings, garlic and olive oil, 5/10, found it bland Fries, rosemary and garlic, 9/10 crunchy garlic bits were a hit The Sicilian Fettuccine, loaded with pesto 8/10, needed a piece garlic bread for sopping up the sauce.
I went here for the first time the other night. The set up of the place was very similar to the pizza joint it replaced. The restaurant is clean, bright, and inviting. The staff is very friendly. I'd say this is similar to a Pizza My Heart but with more things on the menu. They have many premade pizzas available so that you can buy slices or you can order a whole pizza. They also have salads and appetizers. The menu isn't huge. I ordered the meatballs and they were delicious! I highly recommend them. My friend ordered a slice of pizza and he said it was good. I can't say anything bad about this place so it has earned 5 stars from me. I will be back!
Bibo's give me one of my favorite pizzas in San Jose, and definitely the best New York Style Pizza in town. I'm so happy this place opened up close by with their perfectly baked pies with ultra fresh high quality ingredients AND their fresh pastas like the Bibos Pasta and Truffle Ravioli are so flavor-packed and yummy. The place is ultra clean and modern, with a few large TVs and variety of beer/wine options, arcade, and everything one would want from a pizza shop for dine-in.
We had dinner here last night. We had such a nice lunch here 4 days ago that we thought we'd try it for dinner. Unfortunately, it was the complete opposite experience as our first one. Mind you, it was Friday evening. It was extremely busy and very noisy. Lots of little kids not being watched by their parents. It was a very unpleasant atmosphere to enjoy a nice dinner. That, of course, is not the fault of the restaurant, and kids will be kids. Just giving a warning to those who like peaceful meals. This is not the place for you on a busy Friday night. We placed our order at the front and found a place to sit. This time, we ordered the hot classic pasta, which is spaghetti, spicy marinara, a meatball, calabrese pepper, and basil. I ordered the farm green salad and fettuccine with the mushroom and truffle sauce with chicken and arugula. The hot classic pasta was okay except for the meatball. The texture of the meatballs was so bad that my husband couldn't eat them. I tried and had to spit them out in my napkin. It had hard-dried up pieces of ground meat in it and crumbled in your mouth. It was not moist or soft like the previous time we were here and ordered it on our pizza. It was horrible. The mushroom and truffle fettuccine was also terrible. The sauce was very watered down and had zero truffle flavor. It reminded me of watered-down jarred Alfredo sauce. There were also a lot of pieces of peppercorn. I would not order this again. What a letdown. The farm green salad was just meh. For $8.95, it was very plain and a very small portion. The description said shaved vegetables, pumpkin seeds, and balsamic vinaigrette. The only thing they were accurate about that description was the pumpkin seeds. What they claimed as shaved vegetables was one long, thin strip of a yellow carrot curled up, and that was it. The dressing did not taste much like balsamic vinegar at all. It tasted more like red wine vinegar because it was so tart and strong. I let one of the employees know about the meatball. She didn't seem to care and didn't offer to fix it. Then I went up to the register and told them that I did not care for the mushroom truffle pasta and asked if I could just have plain pasta with butter and Parmesan. The manager/owner was close by and heard me. He said it would be no problem for them to make me another pasta dish. So I really appreciated that. The plain pasta with butter and Parmesan was delicious. We will come back, but I will just be ordering the pizza. I believe the pizza is the best thing they have.
This was the first time at this location. It's a decent size location with a play area for the kids or kids at heart. We had a pretty large group and the food come out quickly. The service was pretty good as well, since they came to collect empty pizza trays and buffalo wing baskets. Their garlic in olive oil wings were delicious!! The only thing I didn't like was having to go to the register everytime for refills on soda. There was a pitcher of water on the table, not for sodas. Again, we had a larger group of people, so every few minutes someone was waiting at the counter just for refillable soda. With a larger group, they should've provide couple of pitchers so people weren't constantly going to the register. Maybe this will change in the future.
Saw a new pizza place opened and decided to give it a try because NY pizza. We ordered a large combo pizza. When we arrived for pick up we saw a good sized box and had high hopes for a new pizza option. We got back to my friends place in a few minutes and the pizza was still piping hot. Picked up a slice and it was limp/soggy. Once I started eating it, I wasn't impressed as it's supposed to by NY style, but the flavors weren't there and the crust lacked flavor and crisp. I understand when the part where the toppings, cheese and sauce is limp, but a soft crust just doesn't do it. Perhaps if this was just a pizza place my expectations would have been different. Definitely not NY pizza.
This place is a hidden gem ! Serves wonderfully tasty pastas and pizzas ! They have great seating and an arcade space for kids. Enough lighting and quick service. You have to order upfront and they will serve you at the table. They serve beer as well. My husband was able to sample a few before ordering his one. Definitely going again !!

The Caesar salad came out crisp and refreshing, perfectly tossed with just the right amount of dressing. I also enjoyed the pizza I ordered. The atmosphere creates a fun, relaxed spot to kick it with family or friends, and the space feels inviting. However, the pizza on display (the ones that would be heated up for customers to eat) didn't look appetizing. It looked dry and flat, which honestly turned me off, and the limited variety left me disappointed. Those issues created the only drawbacks in an otherwise enjoyable experience. Overall, the great service, solid food, and upbeat vibe make this restaurant worth a visit.

My daughter and I were having a girls' day at the nail salon next door and arrived a little early, so we decided to stop in for a quick slice of pizza before our appointment--and it did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly, and the space was clean, welcoming, and well kept. We shared a large slice of cheese pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! I'm so glad they opened this location nearby. We'll definitely be back for a sit-down dinner with the family because I already have my eye on trying one of their pastas next! read more
First time visiting this location, and I'm so happy they now have a shop in South San Jose! I loved seeing that they also have a great selection of local beers on tap like their Little Italy location. I stopped by and ordered a slice to-go and learned that each location has its own specialty slices. They don't offer the truffle specialty slice at this location, but they have plenty of other great options. Hands down, this is my favorite NY-style thin-crust pepperoni pizza in San Jose. The crust is absolutely the best! Definitely a must try! read more

Gave this place a try. We do our part to support local restaurants. PROS: $$ Staff very nice and greeted us when we came in. Dinning area was clean and holds about 90 people. Small arcade for the kids. Large flat screen TVs showing sports and not the news. Restroom was clean. We tried the basic Pepperoni pizza. It was better than just ok. It wasn't like wow. This place is conveniently located for us. So now we have options. CONs: The city shut off the entrance off of Snell Avenue so now you can only enter Santa Teresa Blvd. Beer is $10.00. Anyways good luck Bibo's. You're brave to restart and similar type restaurant that vacated. read more

We went to Bibo's and got a garlic chicken pizza and added mushrooms. We got our pizza, hopped in the car, and as we were about to leave, an employee, Leonardo came running out. He stopped us and said "Wait, we forgot to add the mushrooms. We're remaking it right now!" They went above and beyond to fix a simple oversight. We went home with 2 amazing pizzas. Now for the pizza... The toppings are abundant. At first I thought they were a little bit lacking up around the crust area. But that allows you to enjoy the crust. It's soft but flaky with an excellent chew. The slices are large but the dough is thin, so you can easily have 2-3 slices. 4 if you're hungry and want to push it! I highly recommend this location. The food is bomb, the staff is dope and goes above and beyond, and inside they have arcade and claw machines! Great environment and fun pizzeria. Plus they have a dope pizza oven. Finally made it to Bibo's and had a great experience. We have on a busy Friday night. You order at the bar and grab a table. Service was efficient and despite how busy it was, all of the employees were super friendly. 18" pizza was perfect for 4 - we had half combo and half margherita. Pizza crust was sooo good and on the thin side. read more
If I just wanted to grab a few slices, then Bibo is a good spot. The pizza slice prices range from $5 to $7. I like the New York style thin crust. Getting slices is the best deal here in my opinion. The goat cheese and honey was my favorite. The miss was the pasta. My family got some pasta dishes and honestly, they lacked flavor. They just opened up, so maybe it is just the growing pains. The restaurant was very clean and they have nice area for large parties and games for kids to play. FYI parents, make sure you bring quarters for the games. read more
Love since 1st bite, from their 7-11 days back in Willow Glen, moved to their other WG location, and now, their South SJ location! Had a great time during first first day, and looking forward to more of their pizzas! Slice of Heaven + crumbled sausage is my go to! Lots of room inside, plenty of TVs (of course Sharks games are a must), and a decent amount of local beer. Pasta is a new thing to try as well! read more

Glad to see a closer location to us for Bibos! I've only had the cauliflower crust but finally got to try their regular pizza dough. Got a combo to go. Called in an order and it was ready within 15 min. Decent amount of toppings, sausage is shaved so don't expect whole chunks of meat. XL is probably good for 3 people or 2 people and a few slices leftover for the next day. You know what they say, pizza is always better on day 2 ;) Would be back forsure now that I know it's here! read more
My family was so excited to see a Bibo's Pizza and Pasta open up in the South San Jose. There is plenty of parking in the small plaza, but it can get busy during the weekdays, since it is across the street from Santa Teresa High School. I ordered a combo slice, and it came out fairly quickly. The pizza had a very thin crust, but it was still really good. My husband ordered a build your own pasta, and he really enjoyed it. There was plenty of chicken and sun dried tomatoes mixed with his fettuccine. We also ordered the spicy Italian, which was very good. I actually prefer the spicy Italian over the combination. Service was very great here. All of the staff was really friendly and helpful. Bibo's Pizza and Pasta grand opening is Saturday, September 20th. read more
Went tonight and absolutely loved it. Even though there was a constant line of customers, there was just enough seating so that no one had to wait for a table. The pizza was DELICIOUS. The tartufi mushroom ravioli was to die for and so decadent. The service was fantastic, especially for a new spot. Everyone working was super friendly too. The place is great especially for kids. All the kids were running around, and they have TVs and games for them. read more

I have been a long time Bibo's fan and was thrilled when they opened their new location in Santa Teresa near where we live, so it really is a bummer to write a mediocre review. In the past ~10 months since they've been opened we've ordered anywhere from 1-2x a month and only about half the time do we get the NY style pizza we've come to love and expect from the Bird location. Attached a comparison photo (ignore cheese vs. pepperoni.) On the right is what I expect. Thin, crispy crust, cheese with a "pebbled" appearance for lack of a better word. As someone who doesn't like too much greasy cheese or heavy soggy pizza, this was always Bibo's biggest selling point for me. On the left is what we regularly get from the Santa Teresa location. Thicker/floppy/soft crust that lacks the crispy crunch, and too much cheese that slides off. At first I thought they were "figuring it out" since I've never once had this happen at the Bird location, but this has continued to happen for almost a year now and it's disappointing to get a sub par pizza half the time. If they can consistently match the quality that Bird produces I will happily update my review but for the time being I think we will start looking for a new pizza place. read more
First time here. Used to be Round Table Pizza but they had to close down. So the new place Bibo's Pizza is the new merchant on the block. The pizza was delish. Slices and whole pies are avalable. Location is the same South San Jose across from Santa Teresa Highschool. Easy to get to & plenty of parking and public transportation available. Across from a big Nob Hill store and other types of businesses in the corner lot where it is located. Met the counter help Leticia and she was great on the explanation of the menu and prices and types of pizza's available. I tried the Spicy Italian and the Combo. The crust was thin and the slices were big. I could slice it in half and made 2 slices. Prices were ok. It's not a Little Ceasar's or Domino's. Inside was nice and clean. I will be back and half to bring the family to try it out. read more
This was our first time and we were not disappointed. They said it would take 15-20 minutes, but it was ready in 10! The box was huge! When I opened it, I was pleased that it was correct & they gave skinny crust, which my husband loves. The place is spacious and had a good amount of customers in it. This is always a good sign. The slices were cut very large. We got the combo but maybe next time we will order pasta to try that out. Customer Service - 5/5 The staff members were very friendly and helpful. I notified a staff member that the lettuce in the caesar salad was a bit old. He was happy to provide a new one. I also had constant refills of soda. Food - 4/5 I was skeptical when I saw the slices of pizza on the counter. They looked cold and dry, but when the food came out it was warm and looked good. My slice wasn't greasy or oily. The crust was chewy and had a bite. Pricing - 3/5 Maybe I am cheap, but I thought the $6 for a slice of cheese pizza was a bit expensive. read more

This location was totally empty on a Wednesday afternoon around 2:00pm. Their NY-style pizza options are a whole pie that is customizable or choosing from some pre-made slices. We ordered a slice of the Goat Cheese, Bacon and Hot Honey. We also ordered a whole pizza - with half Margarita and half mushrooms, double sausage and extra cheese. The goat cheese single slice was nicely flavored with a generous portion of bacon and a very nice, evenly crispy bottom crust. The whole pizza was not very crispy except for the outer edge (cornicione)., The half Margharita had no freshly sliced tomatoes. Their sausage is not in whole chunks but rather sliced/shaved in texture that was very mildly seasoned with just a suggestion of fennel. Service was friendly. Disappointed that their shaved sausage was under-season and did not come in real sausage chunks. read more

This place just opened down the street from my house, so I've already been here 3 times. You can't beat the price and taste of their pizza slices. The GOAT pizza is just amazing. Super flavorful and the hot honey on top makes it so good. My husband loves the spicy Italian. The French fries might just be some of the best fries I've ever had. I prefer the plain sea salt over the others. The others cost more and tbh I didn't care for the truffle flavor. The sea salt ones are perfectly crispy and delish. I also ordered the Arancini and they were delish! Very rich, truffley, crispy, creamy - all of the above! I recently tried their chicken wings and they were a miss for me. Kinda skimpy small wings, not a lot of meat on them. Lastly were the cannolis, which were alright. Although I'm not a huge cannoli person. I'd love if they had more dessert options! This is my new go to pizza place! It's also just great to have a place in the area where you can get a very yummy slice of pizza for a great price accompanied by an ice cold beer. read more
