Egg roll and 2, mini mandans
    Ginny D.

The service and the food here are amazing! The restaurant is tidy and has self-serve water. The ladies behind the counter were very helpful in explaining that they have bowls or kimbap rolls. I got a bulgogi bowl with a half rice and half noodles base, and topped it with carrots, cucumbers, pickled radish, lettuce, and seaweed. She topped it with sesame oil and a bulgogi sauce. Then she suggested getting it as a combo with miso soup, an egg roll, and 2 mini mandu, so I, of course, said yes! They also let me try a bite of tteokbokki, which had a slight spice to it. Will definitely go back!

What lovely ladies working there, they explained how to order and what everything was. They also let me know the spice level which is great because my spice level is not very high! I ordered the bibimbap bulgogi bowl and it's a great amount of food for the price. It was about $14. They also offer tofu as a substitute for those who are plant-based. Everything tasted delicious. I would definitely come back

Excellent and unique food from a new, local restaurant. The staff were SO incredibly nice; you could tell they truly wanted you to have a great experience. Would def go back.

Bibira is an absolutely fantastic new Korean restaurant in Buford! Was pleasantly surprised to see this delicious brand new restaurant in the same shopping center as New School of Music which it is coincidentally enough right next to. The store is clean and the owner and staff are kind and very sweet. Their food is high quality and uses no MSG and only the freshest and healthy ingredients which makes eating here a no guilt experience. The choices are simple and doesn't offer too many options which is nice since it keeps the process smooth and not confusing which is a plus for those who may be new to the Korean food scene. Their kimbap is wonderful, as well as their bulgogi, japchae, and ddeokbokki, as well as their bibimbap. I've also tried their korean soup, egg roll, and fresh vegetables. We loved the sauces that were given and suggested to dip the kimbap in! The spicy gochujang was what I chose for the bibimbap and that was solid also though mild gochujang might be a better choice for those who don't have a high spice tolerance. A few requests my son and I would like to make is possibly to offer an egg with the bibimbap if that's possible and cheese option for the ddeokbokki if it's not too difficult. Not sure if these are possible with their setup but just thought I'd pass along the suggestions. We can't wait to return to try some of their different offerings as well as the ones we had and enjoyed thoroughly! Drinks are in cans or bottled and parking is plentiful. 5 solid stars for Bibira and two solid thumbs up! Thank you to the owner and staff for their kindness and for being here! P.s. my son says he wants to come here every time he goes to music lesson so this looks like it will become a regular spot for us!

First, let me say that I love this restaurant. I live in South Metro Atlanta, so for me to come all the way up to Buford, Georgia to eat at this place, I really like it. My previous experience has been nothing short of excellent. Even on this visit, the food was excellent and I had no complaints with its quality or in the environment in the establishment. However, when I walked in, I was greeted my an extremely rude young man at the front counter. He was so rude that, I decided to leave and went back to my car. As I sat there, I had to remind myself that I had driven over an hour and it would have been foolish to leave at this point. So, I went back inside and ordered. Again, extremely rude to myself and my guest. It was so bad that my guest also noticed. Even in telling us where to sit, he acted as if I was bothering him by coming inside and ordering food. When our food arrived to the table, he just slammed it down and walked off like he was annoyed. What was even more telling about how, insanely, disturbing his behavior, was that when he and his 'shift' left and was replaced my some young ladies, the experience, completely changed! I mean, immediately changed. The young ladies were helpful, pleasant, and friendly. The mood changed so drastically like night and day. Again, this food is good! The environment is neat! But, if this young man is continued to be allowed to interact with customers, there will be some continued problems.

Instead we got... vibes? Like, actual nice vibes. The place is sleek, modern, and somehow smells like victory and garlic at the same time. Dangerous combination. Service: 10/10, no notes. We never had to wave anyone down for more banchan, which in KBBQ is basically a miracle on par with parting the Red Sea. Food: Oh honey. * Banchan game: Strong. The kimchi was doing backflips on my tongue, the potato salad was creamy crack, the fried rice cakes were so addictive I considered hiding them in my purse. * Meat quality: Top tier. The pork jowl (samgyeopsal) was so fatty and glorious I briefly considered proposing to it. The "Thrill Prime Ribeye" lives up to the hype -- marbled like a Renaissance painting and basically melts. We also tried the garlic soy marinated galbi and I'm still thinking about it during meetings. Rude. * One tiny gripe: The spicy pork bulgogi could've used another punch of heat. My husband (who thinks black pepper is "wild") loved it, but I wanted it to slap me a little harder. Value: Very solid for the quality. $50ish per person all-you-can-eat and we waddled out feeling like we robbed the place. Pro tip: Pace yourself or you'll hit the meat coma wall around round three and start making bad life choices (see: ordering dessert). Atmosphere: Clean, bright, great ventilation (my hair did not smell like a campfire, which is a first in the history of Korean BBQ). They've got K-pop or the tv playing but not at migraine volume, so you can actually hear your dining companions confess their sins between bites. Verdict: Thrill is dangerously good. Buford finally has a KBBQ spot that can hang with the Atlanta heavyweights, and it's somehow less than 10 minutes from the Mall of Georgia (perfect for post-shopping regret eating). Bring stretchy pants, an empty stomach, and friends who won't judge you when you hit the order your 4 round of meats or drinks. We're already plotting our return. My waistline is filing a formal complaint, but I'm ignoring it.

We were happy to find out that the lunch menu applies on the weekends too! $24.99 for lunch and $29.99 for dinner. You can opt for the dinner menu if you want more beef options. Since it was our first visit, we stuck with the lunch and it was more than enough for us. Some of the meats we ordered: - Beef Brisket - Beef Bulgogi - Spicy Beef Bulgogi - Pork Belly - Spicy Pork Belly I enjoyed the beef brisket and pork belly the most. Banchan offered are japchae, corn cheese, kimchi, sesame broccoli, pickled radishes, egg soufflé and rice. Japchae, sesame broccoli and egg soufflé was tasty. I wasn't a fan of the corn cheese as it came out in these little aluminum cups with cheese on top and it's left on the grill until the cheese melts. The service is good. You cook the meat yourselves here, but our server came around to take our orders and change the grills pretty often. 985 also offers a ramen bar for an additional cost at the center of the restaurant. They have a ton of ramen options for you to choose from and various toppings to add a la carte. Overall, it's a decent AYCE KBBQ at a good value. Nowadays, $25 AYCE KBBQ spots are rare and for that price point, I'd consider this a 3.5 rounded up to 4 star.

The moment I said Korean fried chicken, she lit up like I had just announced free dessert for life, so the decision was instantly made. Ordering online was quick and painless, with clear tracking that let me know exactly when to leave the house. By the time I pulled up to the window, everything was ready and handed over piping hot, which is honestly the dream when you are picking up food and want maximum crunch preservation. We went with the honey garlic boneless, the soy garlic boneless, and an order of beef dumplings, and the flavors were exactly why this place stays in our regular rotation. The chicken had that signature ultra crisp coating that stays crunchy even after the drive home. Not just crispy, but the kind of crunch you can hear before you taste it. The honey garlic was sweet, savory, and sticky in the best way, coating each piece without turning it soggy. The soy garlic brought a deeper, umami rich flavor that felt balanced and satisfying without being overly salty. The dumplings rounded everything out perfectly. Tender wrappers, flavorful filling, and just the right companion to all that crispy goodness. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and consistent with what we have come to expect. No surprises, no drop in quality, just dependable deliciousness that makes you wonder why you would order fried chicken from anywhere else. Most importantly, my mom was thrilled, and that alone makes this place a Sunday dinner hero. When the food is this good and pickup is this easy, it is hard to argue with tradition.
