Got lunch here the other day and loved the food! The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. The first time I got the Korean Spicy Bowl and the second time I ordered the same thing and added more meat (the steak / bulgogi). Both times the food was delicious and super filling. I've visited this spot ever since it first opened, almost 3-4 times a week as I do not know how to cook and it's a fast and efficient place to get my lunch for work on the weekdays. Even during the pandemic, I have ordered from this restaurant every 2 times a week worth over $45 each order as I like to support local businesses. However, I visited the location here over 3 weeks ago I dealt with an employee who was absolutely rude. I did not get her name, but a picture taken from a previous reviewer from Nicole (about not wearing an appropriate face covering) is that lady. Firstly, she was very stingy on the portions. I made the build your own bowl and she would grab like "2 pieces" for every vegetable. I understand the coronavirus has affected businesses but if you're really trying to be stingy on the portions to "save" supply/food for the amount of food I pay from here is a bit ridiculous. What tipped me off was when I politely asked her for extra yam yam sauce and she got SUPER offended at me and started giving me the most horrible snarky attitude. She stated, " it's only one sauce per order." Mind you, the sauce is a small container and not even filled all the way! After I told her it's just one sauce I'm not understanding why this is a big issue, she stated, "I'm only giving this extra sauce to you because I'M BEING NICE." The whole experience was just super unsettling, this employee needs to be trained in customer service as someone who currently works in the customer service industry, I would not treat or talk to any customer that way. After this incident, I've ordered here from ubereats as usual, and for the special instructions I ask extra yam yam sauce please multiple times, and still they do not give it. This review is for the chicken. I have dined at this place many times, and I deviated from my usual order of the chicken just once and never went back because it simply wasn't as good. I now don't bother with any other dishes when I know I'm always going to get good, sticky, sweet Korean fried chicken at Bibimix, so I do, every time. Every last flavor they offer is delicious, I've ordered on UberEats (my order is always right) and I've picked up orders before (also correct) and I just haven't had a bad experience with this place. The manager of BibiMix will not honor it. Never mind that a merchant literally has to PAY AND AGREE to be a part of that program. I think BIbimix just paid to be in the book as an advertisement to get people in their door with no intention of honoring coupon once they get there. Fantastic! We ordered the Chinese Flame, veggie dumplings, and large fried chicken with traditional Korean sauce. The chicken was UNREAL: lots of meat on the bones, and the sticky sauce amplified the crunchiness. The dumplings tasted more doughy than I usually expect from mandu but were still crispy and delicious. I don't think I gave the Chinese Spice a fair shot, because I was so obsessed with the chicken that by the time I tried the bowl, it was no longer warm. Yum! A great quick/on the go korean *chipotle* style meal! Came here last night, and decided to design our own bowls (in which I highly recommend!). Comes with miso soup and an *unlimited* amount of sides excluding the protein choice - so you can ask to add as much of vegetables as you desire (they are generous with the amount they serve you too). I love that we can also control and select which sauces we want, gives you an opportunity to taste, test, mix, and match. There are also speciality fixed bowls in case you run a little indecisive like me, and also original korean main/side dishes including korean fried chicken selections. Customer service was superior and super cute modern simple interior decor. Came to BIBIMIX a couple days ago for a quick Sunday lunch. What a great option for fast Korean food. They're basically Korean/Asian fusion Poke Bowls, but I love them. I got the Bibimix bowl with spicy chicken, and it was so good. My friend got the Spicy kimchi bowl, and that tasted really good, too. My biggest thing was that everything was FRESH. I love that. The dishes weren't super spicy - though maybe I'm not the best judge of that since I have a very high tolerance for spicy, but my friend felt that it was quite spicy, so maybe it just depends on the person. It also helps to get extra wasabi, and season it with a spicy sauce, too, in order to help. The atmosphere is fantastic. It's very chill, bright, and inviting. My favorite here is a classic rice bowl (bibimbap style-ish with a fried egg of course). Bulgogi and spicy pork both good. However, more often than not lately I find myself partaking in the gojuchang spiced fried chicken. Freaking delicious. They have a few preset bowls and the option to create your own- add a rice base, noodle base, salad base, whatever your heart desires. Then add a protein- I went with tofu. I did get slightly confused because when it said no meat, I thought they automatically gave you tofu in that price but in reality tofu is $2 extra. Lesson learned. After that, you can choose as many toppings as you want; great for vegetarians who want to plump up their bowls with as many veggies as possible. Sauces you can put on your bowl as you walk out and I really enjoyed the wasabi sauce and that they had yum yum sauce too! This place is awesome! We were so excited when we saw a Korean BBQ place was coming that I followed them on Facebook to get updates on when they were opening. We went in on their soft opening and we were impressed with the number mix ins and the delicious sauces. The bowls are amazing and I love getting the japchae, but it does take a little time to get your order because they cook the proteins to order. But it's nice and hot and hasn't been sitting in a warmer all day. We got around to getting the Korean fried chicken finally and we got the popcorn chicken. It is so crispy and my favorite sauce is the supreme sauce. I even ask for it as a side with any bowl I get. I wish I could get the fried chicken all the time but for health reasons we restrain ourselves. But it's so good. The people there are super nice and in summary: we love this place! read more

This is definitely Arlington's new gem! My boyfriend and I decided to give this a try because our apartment building sent out an email saying they opened and I sure am glad we did. The atmosphere is really nice with simple and modern decor. There is also plenty of seating, which is nice. The food itself is delicious. It's all very fresh and it's easy to accommodate many different diets. We both got the spicy chicken and salads with very different toppings and LOVED them! I'm really looking forward to coming here on nights we want a quick dinner and don't feel like cooking. They're also priced very well. Finally, the owners are wonderful. This place popped up on Wilson not too long ago and I've been seeing good reviews about this place so I decided to stop by for dinner. Inside decor is okay, nothing fancy. The actual ordering process was okay as well, I felt little lost in the beginning so I think it would have been nice for them to lead you and help you with the process. Basically, it works very much like Cava, where you have base of either noodle, rice, or salad, then choose your meat (with additional cost) and then have as much of veggies you want in your bowl. I felt little rushed so I didn't get to add all the veggies I want but overall my bowl was very full! I got the spicy shrimp and that took little bit to cook. I think it's great that they cook the meat and seafood per order! It can take a little while though but it tastes better that way in my opinion. read more

This place is really good for a fast food bibimbap place - I definitely like them more than Rice Bar, plus they offer things like futomaki and Korean fried chicken. My only complaint is that I wish they would chop up to tofu a little more! They serve you these big huge blocks of tofu in your bowl, too big to fit in your mouth. Not sure why they don't break them up even a little smaller, it makes for slightly awkward eating. Overall, though, good eating. Oh wow, such a nice touch in the Courthouse corridor for lunch. Just a short walk from my office. Mind you Korean BBQ is one of my absolute faves. I pretty much kept it simple, had a made to order bowl with steak, with noodles and jasmine rice, and utilized the toppings they use in their Japanese Five senses specialty bowl(kale, zucchini, ginger,edamame green onions and bean sprouts) For my sauce I chose the Teriyaki which is a honey ginger base, so darn tasty. I am pretty much sold on this spot and will definitely add them in my lunch rotation for sure. Want to try their specialty bowls next time. The service was really good, the staff was very pleasant .
