I had the Korean beef which was their version of Bulgogi. You get to pick your own sides, so I had the carrots, black beans, other assorted vegetables along with some noodles. And topped off with some gochujang... and I was quite a happy camper. What I like about them is, they don't try to be something that they're not . And yet what they do, they do pretty well even though it's a chain restaurant and it's a step above fast food, but that's OK. I'll take this any day over fast food. I'm also weird. I LOVE Bipibop Sooo much, but this location is not it. My most recent visit turned my stomach. I got home and nearly threw my whole bowl out. My newest addiction from Bipibop is their Crispy Chicken but this chicken I received today was BLACK and burnt like it had been sitting since 9am. I told the young guy helping me I couldn't imagine that they were going to sell this still and I told him I changed my mind and couldn't eat it. He scooped it off my bowl into a to-go container and replaced it with dry, little cubed up chicken. He still gave me the burnt chicken as a nice gesture which I threw in the garbage... exactly where it belonged. I LOVE this restaurant but this location needs better management. I ordered a custom bowl with steak, white rice, super green salad, roasted broccoli, carrots and cheese. I also got the yum yum and spicy siracha sauce. The steak had very little flavor and I wasn't impressed. The broccoli was delicious and I probably could have had a whole bowl of it just by itself. I wasn't a fan of the yum yum sauce but the spicy siracha was to die for. I will say that I did go close to closing so this could have impacted the quality of the food. Ordered a Korean BBQ beef bowl with yum yum sauce, sweet potato noodles and some of the other free toppings & added pineapple and Avocado for an additional $1.85 each. Meal total Before tax was $19.67. Was hoping the portions would be good for this price. BBQ Beef was tasty... very small portion of meat compared to the amount of noodles and vegetables that they will gladly scoop monster portions of. By the time I got done eating the beef I still had half a bowl of noodles and other toppings. Yum yum sauce was not good & on top of it they give you a small side of sauce. The extra pineapple and avocado I ordered were fresh. Portion of avocado is not worth the price. You can go buy an entire avocado at the store for cheaper. I can go next door to chipotle and get a huge bowl of double steak and all the toppings for the same price... Overall.. fresh tasty food.. not worth the price considering the portions they give you. The Willowbrook location clearly has staffing issues. Ordered my food online went to pick it up customers were standing outside knocking on the doors and windows. The one employee who decided to show up for work ignored the numerous phone calls and the banging on the doors. My order which according to the app was ready was sitting on the counter getting cold. It took over 30 minutes for the one employee to finally acknowledge people were outside waiting on food that they had already paid for. It also took 30 minutes for it to finally dawn on him to put up a sign that the restaurant was not opening. It could have taken him a minute to come to the door where customers were waiting to explain the situation, instead he pretended like he couldn't hear the phone or the knocking on the windows and doors. Found this place last night while looking for a restaurant open past 9pm. I am celiac so to walk in and see a sign stating everything in the restaurant is gluten free was unexpected and awesome. The staff was super kind, very patient and didn't make me feel rushed asking questions even though there were customers behind me. We had a regular sized chicken bowl with rice and noodle combo and another with the Korean BBQ, added pretty much all the veggie sides. My parents and I thought the food, especially the protein, was delicious! The entire meal was such a great deal, 2 bowls with a 20% tip was $31 and I thought the bowls were generously portioned.
