Swag from the grand opening. Cookies are gluten-free, made in house and delicious!

As a long time fan of BIBIBOP, I'm thrilled to have one here in Lewis Center so close to home! My fave is the organic tofu bowl with half greens, half purple rice as the base. Then I do all the fixins plus fresh pineapple ($1 extra) with half ginger teriyaki and half yum yum sauce on top. It's the best! I was happy to wait in line from 9 am on today to welcome BIBIBOP to the neighborhood and win some free swag. Gluten free cookies are also delicious here!

Anytime I'm back in Columbus, I stop at Bibibop! When I heard this store opened, closer to home, I had to stop by. I got my typical bowl with sweet potato glass noodles, spicy chicken, beans sprouts, and a few other veggie toppings. It was quick and easy, and stayed fresh over the car ride home. I like the new packaging for the sauces, but I do miss the dispensers where you could get as many cups as you wanted. It's sad to know that you're limited on sauce now. Over all though, I love Bibibop and make it a point to get a bowl anytime I'm home. The food is always fresh, reasonably priced, and filling.

I was excited to see when this location opened close to home, but for some reason, I have only been able to visit here recently. For the uninitiated, Bibibop is a fast casual restaurant franchise with Chipotle-style setup for Asian food. They have plenty of variety, which accommodates almost any dietary restrictions. The location was clean, and the interior was nicely decorated. The staff were friendly and efficient while taking the time to explain the options for first-time customers. For this meal, I chose to go with a bowl that included the newly added Korean BBQ beef, purple rice, potatoes, roasted broccoli, and several cold toppings, along with the Yum sauce. The bowl was very filling and can be shared over two meals. For the price point, I think this was a good deal. I am glad to have this Bibibop location as a healthier alternative to all the fast-food options in this area. I will be back soon.

BIBIBOP Asian Grill's newest location just opened up today in Delaware, OH! AND it is their 50th BIBIBOP location. I always love to create my own bowl with different proteins, hot and cold toppings, and the sauces. BIBIBOP value on Well B*ing and serving fresh and healthy ingredients to the community. Food is always fresh and don't miss on their complementary miso soup if you are dinning in. They recently add in Korean BBQ Beef to their protein lineup. Always love to get double protein with tofu.

Took half my rice away and wouldn't give me noodles. Wouldn't let me order extra protein and limit what I can have.

I was early enough for happy hour and had a wonderful Cucumber Gimlet. The service was excellent. I ordered the House Chopped Salad, Lake Erie Walleye, and Lemon Blueberry Panna Cotta. The salad tasted really good and fresh. The Walleye too. I liked the fennel salad with cilantro lime rice. I ate half to take some home and not be too full for dessert. The panna cotta was good, mostly because of the topping. It is not something I would order again, being kind of bland, but to no fault of the kitchen. I'm not a custard-y kind of gal, but wanted to try it. I would definitely come back here for another meal.

Everyone from the hostess to our server was very friendly and nice. They have a full bar and a decent selection of beers. My wife and I decided to share their whipped ricotta appetizer and their French onion burger. The appetizer came with thinly cut crusted baguette. The ricotta cheese was mixed with some strawberry flavor. It wasn't bad but I would have preferred it to be thicker in constituency. The burger and fries came out perfectly cut into half portions for each of us, which was a really nice touch. We had asked for the burger to be cooked medium rare and I think it came out more like a medium well. The patty itself was a bit dry. This may be a one off issue and we hope to return to try some other dishes.

WOW. So I had a…read moremedical appointment up in Westerville & as usual, due to health issues, couldn't eat before it -- which means I would be hungry & cranky by the time it was over. Husband came with me, and we were trying to find a reasonably inexpensive restaurant with good food. A quick search turned up a lot of *expensive* restaurants in the Polaris area, and restaurants that we weren't into at that point, but then I saw Agape' listed right near the Ohio Health offices up there. So I did what any sane hungry person would do -- I asked the nurses & techs at Ohio Health who were involved in the procedure, "Hey, that Agape place nearby? Any good?" (seriously, medical people are going to know the good eateries nearby -- they get a ton of delivery because they're always busy & they aren't going to mess around with a crappy eating place for their lunch breaks). I got an immediate "OH HELL YEAH" and enthusiastic recommendations from not only the folks who were involved in my medical stuff, but also the desk staff, other nurses/techs, etc etc. That's an amazing sign -- a place that gets immediate "OH MY GOD YES" when you ask folks at random if it's any good. So, my medical procedure over, we went to Agape'. OH MY GOD, YES. OH HELL YEAH. First, it's a chain, but it's a LOCAL chain, founded & based here in Columbus OH with only a few locations around the city at the moment. They seem to have focused on taking over the old/defunct Chipotle locations (Chipotle's mostly gone belly-up here), and repurposing it for their Greek/Mediterannean concept. Let me be clear for the folks in the back: AGAPE' IS NOT OWNED BY CHIPOTLE & HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. They're Columbus-local, & MORE POWER TO THEM. Agape' works like Chipotle -- select your base (salad, fresh pita bread, bowl), select your protein, select your sauces/spreads, load up on the fillings, and DAMMIT GET THE GREEK FRIES, THEY'RE SO FREAKIN' AWESOME...:cough: sorry. So both Husband and I had pita gyros with various different fillings and then made the "mistake" of ordering 2 portions of Greek Fries, one for each of us. FYI, those portions are BIG. One order of Greek Fries is more than enough for two people, but who cares, we've got leftover Greek Fries in the fridge for a snack later... :cough: sorry. The food is that good. We had to wait a bit for fresh pita (but who cares? FRESH HOT PITA!!!), all the fillings & protein & THOSE FRIES were fresh, hot, tasty, filling & just go ahead and add any other complimentary adjectives here, because Agape' deserves it. They took the Chipotle concept, improved it, ran with it, and GOD, I hope they succeed & stay the course, because I have regular medical stuff up in Westerville, and I really need a good inexpensive place to eat after those appointments are done. (My only minimal gripe -- no Clintonville location. Yet. The Westerville location is about 20 minutes up the road for us; the next closest seems to be out in Gahanna. But don't rush to expand, Agape' -- expanding too fast, too soon can sink a business hard. Take your time & focus on that glorious Greek food. AND THOSE FRIES.) Oh, and the baklava was PERFECT, too. ;)

Our drink orders were taken and questions answered. The appetizers were all so good. Bread service was warm and fresh, bruschetta was prepared well and was a good amount of food per order. The pretzel rolls were a big hit as well. Salty but still soft. While relaxing the kids got chilly and Kyle offered them blankets which was a really nice touch. Then came the meal. The kids ordered playbread pizzas (sauce was a little spicy), Mac and cheese (which was devoured), and chicken tenders (good amount for a kids meal!). Adults had the sweet potato pasta (delish! And had a little kick), salmon (which they raved about how flaky and well cooked it way), baked cod (flavorful and prepared well), fried cod (nice and flaky, great batter!), and lemon chicken (chicken was a little dry but overall delicious). The potatoes that came with many meals were crispy and soft, perfectly seasoned. This was a really good meal, and we will definitely be back when in town!

Every time I come here, I eat something different and it seems that the bar is set pretty high, you can actually tell the managers and owners are fully invested in making this business successful. Please make sure the highest standard quality is gonna be here forever because I'll be eating at this place for every normal day or special occasion. This restaurant should be a landmark in Powell and no one could change my mind.
