The staff very friendly and VERY helpful. I do not know if you know, but in Seattle, they charge a crayz tax for liquor (not beer and wine). The staff member had to point it out to me, or I would not have known. In addition, they are not allowed to sell THC drinks because of rules and regulations. I don't think you can blame Total Wine for that, but I am sure people do. HOWEVER, they do try to hide the true costs when it comes to liquor, and that seemed a little sketch. If we see a large price sign, that usually indicates a price, and that is not how they did it there. However, the prices there are still the cheapest, so whether it was Texas or Washington, Total Wine is still my favorite place to buy drinks.

Nobody asked me if I needed help. I wasn't greeted when entering the store, the other locations are always way busier and always say hello and go the next step to ask if I need help or they can point me in a direction . Working in customer service myself; it's not hard to give a smile and say hello. Select selection is great most of the time.

Since then, it has moved to Crossroads into the former Barnes & Noble space across from QFC and has updated its official name to World Market. The first impressions of the store mentioned before still are valid. It has a great selection of home decor, kitchen supplies and specialty food items. Particularly international foods that are hard to find elsewhere. The location itself is a lot more convenient as it is closer to my home than the other location, which is a huge plus. However, I knocked a star as it can be hard to determine the current stock of products at the store when checking online. I have made numerous online purchases on the website for store pickup as they offer a discount for this option. However, I have experienced many instances when a product I ordered was unavailable even though the website said it was. Particularly on items where the stock shows that there are a few left. If you order online, just be aware that the store may not have it available, especially if the website says they are close to selling out.

But if you can find the beer in your town, ORDER IN YOUR TOWN. If you can't find it locally, LetsPour.com is a great place to get fantastic beer. I've never had them mess up an order, and I've never even needed to contact Customer Service. They ship reasonably quickly and provide a tracking number. Only gets 4 stars because the beer is a little on the expensive side, and their description of shipping costs is a little misleading. They say if you order 6 beers, you get free shipping, but they also say their beer-bottle costs are higher because of shipping costs. So in truth, you're not getting free shipping. That being said, I really only use these guys for group-buys, and for that, they work perfectly.

This store, located on Main Street in Bellevue, has a lot of similar vibes - including friendly staff, one of a kind Italian imports and a relaxed and yet elegant environment. We picked up 6 bottles ones based on their recommendations, and every single recommendation was a great choice. When we arrived, we weren't greeted, but we could see the staff chatting behind the bar. Once seated, though, we found a really pretty personalized three-course menu plus charcuterie waiting for us. We had really great service once inside the private room, and the food was absolutely delicious! The charcuterie had a great assortment of cheeses, meats, pickles, and other accompaniments. I had the carrots with whipped feta for my starter, and it was perfect. For the main course, the steaks came out, which was my only real disappointment of the night. Every other steak plate had these large, beautiful pieces, while I was left with all of the steak ends and tinier bits. It was a bit of a bummer, especially since all of my coworkers had plenty to take home. Dessert (chocolate gateau) was just okay. I wish the cake had been a bit richer, but I know that's hard to do when it's dairy-free. Overall, a good experience, but I would suggest the kitchen be more mindful of portion variation across the same dish. It can leave a yummy steak having a poor taste in a guest's mouth!
