This company is garbage and needs to go out of business. The website is only available to me in incognito mode because some captcha it runs fails if you have a single privacy or security feature enabled. Second, the prices are way out of line with the TWaM store a few miles away. Their regular prices are so high that TWaM regular price beats their sale price by $5. I guess this is why employees eagerly ask what you're looking for and then walk you to it and grab it off the shelf for you. They don't want you seeing the high prices and walking out like I did. Don't even get me started on their bogo scam. Go elsewhere and maybe something useful will take their place when they finally move out. Compare 4 Roses small batch and small batch select with Bevmo and any other area retailers and you'll see. Small batch select is $86.99 at Bevmo, under $60 at TWaM. Even grocery stores beat these guys prices by as much as 30%. It's outrageous gouging and this company doesn't deserve anyone's business. read more

Stopped by here on a whim after eating dinner at Red Robin. They had quite a good selection of liquor and surprisingly other types of groceries, too. We found a German egg liquor that is just about impossible to find in the states especially not around Christmas time which was so exciting. We also found a half price pumpkin vodka, butterscotch Schnapps, and chocolate liqueur. The prices weren't too bad, but of course, the Washington state taxes were ridiculous. If you are looking for a specialty alcohol and need a couple groceries as well, I would suggest going to this store since it is all in one place, especially if you happen to be in the area. The person who checked us out seemed nice enough, but was not very knowledgeable about some of the specialty products. That was OK though since we didn't really have questions about anything. The largest liquor store chain in the West Coast, BEVerage MOre! has 166 locations serving Washington state down to California. Situated next to Marshalls in the Overlake Fashion Plaza, BevMo! Overlake isn't particularly big, but had enough space for non-alcohol related grocery items like chips and soda. I was trying to kill a little time while the rest of the group went shopping at Marshalls, and I ended up buying ingredients to make a strawberry lemon drop along with a local Kolsch 6 pack that I haven't tried before (Chuckanut (native word for "long beach, far from a narrow entrance") Brewery). Checkout was interesting: it does seem Washington is more strict on making sure everybody gets their ID checked. read more

I saw comments on Ingrid and did not want to but months later I see reviews on her and it must be said of this lady that she is a very angry rude lady. It resonated with me that she sits in her corner. While checking out, the cashier Id"ed me but did not scan my license. I thanked him with a joke that I really appreciated t since this surveillance state is too much. Just like Donny in the Big Lebowski, Ingrid wanders into the conversation from registers away and yells "he is doing that because that is his job". Talk about Twilight Zone. If that was his job he did not do it. I told her I was complimenting him and asked him to verify. He looked too scared to go against her and so clammed up. I am surprised with other reviews. I find this location convenient to the area as there is another big liquor chain store but not that near and other stores are small with higher prices. Now, we must know that the State taxes and almost double taxes are the ones that raise alcohol price. I like this BevMo store as staff asks you just once if you are ok. They don't follow you around trying to sell you stuff. I have been helped by them in more than one occasion and I am super glad about it because they can gelp.me with their best wine option. There are local and state wines that I haven't tried. Probably, the beer part isn't enough for some but the variety and options are way more than enough for me! The problem with a whole world of options is that you can't decide or buy a lot for a small party. But the best part is that they have alcohol from around the world too. Stopped by Bevmo to grab some wine and beer. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the sign to wear a mask and the hand sanitizing table that was set up at the entrance. Very well done for these crazy COVID times. There was also signage reminders of social distancing. I felt very comfortable in the store. As far as the store layout goes, it very well set up with the wine, beer and liquor section. Also a section for non alcoholic drinks and some fun merchandise for parties, cups, snack, etc. Customer service was great and I was addressed by name once the cashier put in my phone number and looked up my account. A small but noticeable detail. Prices are standard for the market. I definitely would recommend stopping by if you're in the area. read more

This BevMo! is a fine place to go. It's where I go if I don't want to drive twice as far to get to total wine. Total wine will always have better prices, but sometimes it's worth coming here for the convenience. The selection also isn't nearly as good, but you can always find something good enough in the variety you are looking for. It's still better than hitting up a regular grocery store. The staff here has always been good and helpful, and they are happy to leave you be until you look like you actually need help. read more

No service. Checked online for orgeat syrup at the Redmond store and it shows 1 item: "Torani Orgeat Syrup." Went to the physical store and couldn't find it. Asked a guy for help and: 1) He said he didn't know where it was. Not, "let me go find out where it is," but just that he didn't know. 2) He pointed to a certain area and said that was where all the non-alcoholic mixers were. That was a lie. Absolute lie. Non-alcoholic mixers are throughout the store and not limited to one aisle. Went to Total Wine & More and asked same question. The clerk didn't just tell me where it was, he walked me to exactly where it was on the shelf and pointed it out. You have choices and I encourage everyone to not choose here. read more

Prices were inflated, even things like sodas/energy drinks and common beers were noticeably more. It also doesn't say anywhere; not online, not in store- nadah, that you have to be over 21 to buy a bottle of water or a non-alcoholic soda. (Which wasn't a thing at any other store, even 21+ focused) Experience also wasn't much different than the other 1-star an hour before my review. Lady at the register was quite smug and rude. Won't be coming here even when I hit 21 in a couple months; because Safeway down the street has cheaper sodas/drinks, and other stores (like total wine) have similar drinks $5-$20 cheaper. read more

Do not waste your time here. Stopped in with a friend to buy a bottle as a gift for her husband. One person on the floor was pushy but when I went to pay they said they needed to see the ID of my friend in order to sell to me. Unfortunately she did not have it on her. Maybe its because I'm not from the area but they should have a clear sign outside the store that every member of the party needs to have ID. To be clear I had my ID and they refused to sell to me which is fine as I understand following policy but I really did not appreciate how rude and condescending the cashier was. read more

My fiance and I recently moved to Arizona, but were still going to have our wedding up in Washington. Every time we called various liquor stores they said I could wait until a couple of days before our wedding to order the alcohol we needed. Luckily, I called yesterday to double check and found out that we need to order our alcohol ASAP and they still did not know if they could get it to us in time. Today, we frantically ran over to BevMo to try and buy as much as we could and pray that other stores would have everything else we needed. While in the store, we were approached by the store manager Maria asking if we needed help with anything. After explaining our situation, she quickly got on the phone and called other stores to do transfers to make sure we would have what we needed for our wedding. We got our stuff then some older guy named John rang us up and was incredibly rude and condescending when we asked about the receipt. He treated us like we were stupid. It ruined the whole experience and we left in a terrible mood. There are a lot of places to buy liquor, so I don't expect to be laughed at for asking an honest question. My go-to destination if I'm looking for a wider selection of beer or a specific brand of liquor that I can't pick up at any arbitrary store. If you're starting your collection at home from scratch, this is where I would begin. They have a ton of different options to choose from, pretty knowledgeable staff (at least as far as beer and wine go--I don't buy liquor often enough to comment on that), and even do keg and growler fills. There are also little sections of the store devoted to food pairings, barware and such--I appreciate these little touches. Don't forget to sign up for their Club Bevmo card--it's free and will save you a few bucks every time! Convenient, new location. I agree with others-- Wine selection is waaaay better at Total Wine, but the beer selection is great here. They also have "picnic supplies/foods and snacks" that Total Wine does not have, and a nice selection of glasses and bar ware. I really appreciate employee Kelly. He recommended a beer to me that I could purchase for my son-- took me back to the tasting area, and gave me a generous sample of it (Irish Death Mocha)-- it was an awesome beer, and I know my son will love it. Kelly was very friendly, nice and knowledgeable. Think I will come back to get some beers for one of my son's Xmas presents. Other staff were equally nice and helpful (Maria too). I had a not so great experience at BevMo! today. This thoroughly disappointed me because I frequent this BevMo! They had this older lady named Margie running the cashier and I'm not sure why since she wasn't sure how things worked. I am always more than willing to help others out and didn't mind that she was a bit confused. I was kind and helpful and she was curious about things I bought and I told her where to get them in the store. It comes time to pay, I pay and the screen says please wait and this is when the cashier is suppose to activate or press something on her side, she didn't. Then she's talking to herself about how it timed out and I need to do my card again. I kindly said sure I can do my card again but my side says please wait, which as a customer I have no control over this, the cashier has to exit out of that transaction. She continues on rudely about if I just wait then we will waiting there all night. I kindly try to explain it's something on her side she needs to press to help it restart. At this point her manager or another worker comes over and asks what's wrong. Margie goes this customer refuses to do her card again! Which was untrue and just plain rude. She was super intense and blameful! When I explain again I want to do my card again, but it says please wait, won't light up or anything. The another worker took me over to another register and checked me out, no one helped me carry all my things over. Was a horrible experience and felt embarrassing, I was blamed that my card wasn't working when it was. I don't think they should have someone working the cashier who is unable to perform the duties, unfriendly and blameful over her own mistakes. read more

They say that good design is invisible and honestly there's not much to be said about a great liquor store other than that a great liquor store's greatness is invisible... and great! BevMo was actually pretty wonderful and had an awesome floor-to-ceiling selection of wines, beers and spirits at good prices. A friend recommended me to come here when I was searching for premium champagne and the store inventory didn't disappoint. They had a wide selection of premium champagnes (Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, Cristal, etc.) in a visible temperature-controlled storage unit (all labeled with their ratings). Within minutes of setting foot in BevMo, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who offered to look in the back for a vintage I was trying to find. They didn't have it, but he promptly found me and let me know. While you're there, it's also fun to raise your pinky and peruse their caviar and fine foods section for pairings and fun accents (This must be the "And More" component in "BevMo"). Some employees can even help answer food pairing questions, even about their more obscure foods and beverages. Check out was a breeze and they even have a frequent buyer program. Didn't look much at the wine selection, but it definitely pales in comparison to Total Wine according to my fiance. Bevmo's beer selection on the other hand is pretty fantastic. They have the beer organized by type and by country of origin. They had WA and other U.S., English, German, Canadian, etc. - I enjoy trying the local WA beers and was very excited that they had the Iron Horse Irish Death on draft. Bevmo sells growlers for $6.99, a fill up of the Irish Death runs $8.99. Not too shabby. They have a rewards club that gets you discounted prices, they just want your info so they can advertise to you but hey it saves you some money and it's free so I figured why not. I also enjoyed their selection of specialized glassware, they had brand specific beer glasses including Blue Moon, Stella, Alaskan, and Kona to name a few. There was also some specialized solo cupware that I had never seen before, like a margarita glass made with the solo cup look - kinda cool. They also carry wine accessories, both fun and functional including glass charms, writing pens (so you can write notes and gift a bottle that way), carriers, covers, stoppers, aerators, etc. I looked up a package of off-brand bottle stoppers that were the same price on Amazon as they were in the store - needless to say I picked them up, so they have good deals and it's nice when stores don't mark-up everything they can just because when you go to a store that specific it's an item you usually need asap. They also had a few cheese selections and caviar next to the wine. They had a neat bartender's book that listed probably all the drinks you could think of and bartending tools like muddlers, strainers, jiggers, etc. hung above. They have a great selection of mini liquor bottles if you're looking to try something without committing to a large bottle of it. And surprisingly next to that they had some cigars if you're into that. They also carry the larger size liquor bottles as well which is useful if you like a stocked bar - those were some strong shelves. I had the pleasure of meeting the Assistant Manager, Karley (I think it had an 'e' in it) who was very nice and knowledgeable. I'm glad to have Bevmo in Bellevue and am happy it's just a quick jaunt on my home from work. read more

Where to head for refreshments when you are throwing a toddler birthday party? BevMo of course! Nothing says "where are the mimosas like a room full of toddlers". We recently moved to the Eastside from Northern California, where liquor is decidedly cheaper - but ridiculous Washington state taxes aside BevMo is where it is at for alcohol purchases. Huge selection (I love that they have a local spirits section), reasonable prices (for WA), rewards points, good sales, easy parking, shopping carts with kids seats and they give you boxes to crate your haul.
