Since we are not locals, we turned to Yelp for reviews and help finding a great cleaners. My mom and I decided to go here and we are very glad we did. The owner was so nice and respectful in dealing with us and my grandpa's uniform. He had to do a rush and even gave us a couple of extras for exactly what we needed to display the uniform properly. I cannot thank them enough for being so kind and giving their condolences as well as being professional and doing a great job.

BEST DRY CLEANER IN THE CITY. PERIOD!!!…read more I cannot thank The Cleanery enough for saving my jacket after it was hand-washed and the colors bled, turning the white embroidery a muddy pink. I truly thought it was ruined. When I was in high school, my mom hand-embroidered a cougar on the back of my letterman jacket. I still remember her sitting at my soccer games, creating the cougar's face one stitch at a time. Years later, after I had outgrown the jacket, I couldn't bear to part with it. I carefully cut the cougar off, and my mom sewed it onto a denim jacket so I could keep wearing it. That jacket is one of my most treasured possessions. I've always joked that if there were a fire and I could only save one thing, it would be that jacket. So when a hand washing caused the embroidery to bleed and lose its brilliance, I was absolutely devastated. I was in tears when I brought it to The Cleanery because I honestly didn't believe it could be restored. A few days later they called to say it was ready. I walked in expecting to be disappointed, but Scott brought out my jacket, and I couldn't believe my eyes. The cougar looked as beautiful as the day my mom finished sewing it. I burst into tears again--this time, happy tears. And I paid less than $22 for this--so reasonable and the best money I've ever spent in my life. Scott was incredibly kind and shared my joy. I also want to thank the magical fairy godmother behind the scenes who worked on my jacket with such extraordinary skill and care. Francis, I have no idea how you did it, but you gave me back something that is truly irreplaceable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This meant the world to both my mom and me. If you have something precious that you think is beyond saving, take it to The Cleanery. They worked a miracle. I'm attaching before-and-after photos so you can see the transformation. Note: I took the cougar off of the jacket before I brought it into The Cleanery because I was getting ready to try and fix it myself with Rit color remover and wanted to be able to test the back side first. I'm SO glad I did try a DIY on something this important, potentially making it worse, and decided to let the professionals take this on instead. But that's why the cougar isn't on the jacket in the second photo.

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received from Marina's. I've been a customer for over…read more30 years and before my parents. I brought a dress in for alterations and the manager, Huyen (sp), was extremely rude and aggressive last Saturday when I dropped it off and raised his voice multiple times in the interaction because I said I don't know about the number of inches. his tone and aggressive body language made me immediately nervous and at that point, I should not have left my dress there. I went to pick it up about six days later and was told the alterations were over $100 even though I was never quoted that price and would not have paid that price. And when I express this to the manager again, he became irate and aggressive, raising his voice and being extremely rude. I pointed out issues with the alteration where the work looked a bit sloppy, and he was unable to cope with my complaints and grabbed the dress rudely and said he was going to take it upstairs and show him my issues and when I said, I didn't have time that I would just pay for it, he became even more upset. During this time another customer walked in and and the manager was respectful to this make customer. As a female, I would not recommend using Marina's any longer as you will receive abusive and unsatisfactory customer service. I don't mind spending the money when it's quality work and you receive a modicum of respect. i was shaking when I walked out and realized I was actually afraid the manager may have physically attacked me had the other customer not walked in. The owners need to do better and vet their employees better.

I brought it to several different cleaners and no one showed any interest or optimism that there was anything they were willing to try to help. I brought the table cloth into Davis Cleaners at 5300 Menaul. There, the owner/head cleaner gave a careful examination of the tablecloth, admired the craftsmanship and detailed artwork of the crocheted piece. Not knowing what it was stained with or how long it had been stained, he said they could give it their best shot, being careful of the delicate nature of the piece. A week later, I picked up the tablecloth hoping for at least some improvement. Unbelievable!!!!! The stain was completely gone! The crocheted cotton was completely refreshed! It looked like the day my mom finished it!. The owner was there beaming at his successful craft THANK YOU, Davis Cleaners!!!!

Incredible unprofessional owner who cannot stand by his company's commitements…read more I contacted these folks to take on a large job leading into the memorial day weekend. I rang them with 4 days lead time for the job. I have an elderly mother in the Albuquerque area that I take care of from 1000s of miles away so I rely on good yelp reviews and clear communication from businesses I contract to assist with things she needs done. This past weekend an exterminator found 3 bedbug carcasses in one room of her house and advised that we do a proactive full treatment to prevent any real issues. Part of this treatment plan requires that all textiles in the home get a deep cleaning in hot water or dry cleaning. I contacted this business and the lovely lady Suzy(?) at the reception took down all of my information and understood the situation and the ask. She told me she would verify with the business owner that they can take on the job. They called me back and said they could do it. So I setup a pickup for today (friday leading into the memorial day weekend). We have an exterminator coming by tomorrow to complete treatment. But, when the delivery guy gets there to pick up the laundry he calls his boss to say it's a lot of stuff. I had been clear it is every article of clothing and linen she owns. It's 6x 20gal trashbags and 3x 10gal trashbags full of laundry. Last minute, the owner calls me back and waffles before finally deciding he doesn't want to take on the job. Now I'm stuck trying to scramble and find someone last minute who is professional and stands by their commitments. I offered to pay any overtime or additional charges but the owner refused. Suzy the receptionist earns an A+ for being a pro, polite, and courteous. The delivery driver and the owner earn an F for being terribly unprofessional, backing out of a commitment and leaving my elderly mother stressed out. Kind of a dick move. Can't recommend these folks at all.
