3 tiered cake with silk flowers, complimentary, from Bev
Melissa J.

Bev was amazing from start to finish. We went to many well-known cake vendors and all of them paled in comparison with customer service AND cake quality. A supreme value for the price!!! We met for a consultation and she adjusted the level of sugar in the frosting to accommodate our tastebuds. TRULY a sweet woman, responsive via email, takes great notes on what your vision is for the cake, and offers a variety of fillings and cake flavors. She even offers complimentary silk flowers to decorate the cake; you can retain them after your wedding for a keepsake! All our guests complimented our cake style and texture of the cake. We had a 3 tier Disney themed cake. We CANNOT WAIT to return to her for an anniversary cake, or any special occasion in the future!!! Hopefully sooner, than later ;) Thank you so much Bev for making our cake so special memorable!!!!!

Bev is just wonderful! She makes the best cakes and has great customer service. Her marble cake is my favorite, I also really enjoy her red velvet. She is the sweetest person with the biggest heart. It is so true what they say...the most important ingredient is LOVE! I highly recommend going to Bev for her delicious cakes or cupcakes for both large and small events.

Our cakes - lemon, marble, and vanilla w strawberry filling. 3 tiers w intricate lace detailing on the buttercream. Beautifully designed!

Bev has been such a blessing to my family! Since we got married, we've ordered cupcakes for various family events. During the peak of covid season (and the height of our cravings LOL), Bev was able to arrange a contactless pick up for us. My sister ordered a cake (vanilla with strawberry filling) and cupcakes (2 flavors - lemon and marble) for our baby shower this weekend. Bev even made sure to add green frosting to match my sister's mint green/jungle theme vision. And just like our wedding, our guests raved about the desserts once again. They were thrilled Bev was still making cakes/cupcakes, and it was even better than everyone remembered!

Bev was awesome! The cake she made for our wedding was beautiful and tasted amazing! The whole process was smooth and Bev communicated very well. I would recommend her to anyone that may be looking for a cake for a special occasion. We got the marble and vanilla and both were delicious. Prices were great as well!

Bev was amazing and she made a beautiful cake and cupcakes for our gender reveal. Everyone loved it!

I'm so happy with the cake Bev made for us! Thank you!

Bev is amazing! I can say that her cake is the moistest, most fluffiest, prettiest, tastiest thing you'll ever eat! Throughout the entire planning process, she was responsive, on time, and exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much Bev, we may just order more cakes from you just because :)

Bev was one of our favorite vendors to work with for our wedding! She is SO kind, prompt at replying, engaged and just makes such beautiful and tasty cakes! I was pretty annoying via email, but she rolled with all punches, offered so many ideas and help and was really just always so delightful!

A gorgeous & delicious cake by Bev!

A gorgeous and delicious cake by Bev! She was so accommodating to our ever changing restrictions due to covid. She was very flexible, understanding and gave me different suggestions that we ended up with a 2 tier cake and 40 cupcakes. I would definitely recommend her and would order from her again!

Beautifully done! Bev did the flowers & greenery and provided the gold stand (the 2 characters on top we provided - but she added it on)

I REALLY wish I could give Bev a 10/5 rating - she was phenomenal! When we first met with her to go over what we wanted, she was so welcoming and kind, and we knew we wanted to work with someone like that. We talked about what flavors we wanted, how many tiers, and all that good stuff. When she brought the cake on the wedding day, everything was absolutely perfect. The flowers, the greenery, the buttercream... ALL OF IT. Just gorgeously done. I've never been a fan of wedding cake - almost all cakes I've had are too buttery, too rich, or too creamy. But Bev let us adjust the sugar/butter levels to our liking and it was very good. I've never enjoyed eating wedding cake so much. Our guests also gave us a lot of compliments on the cake. Safe to say we had a very pleasant experience with Bev. Her cakes are beautiful, they taste good, and she is a sweet sweet gal. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a cake - any occasion! You will not be disappointed.

First off I would like to start off by this review is long overdue. My husband and I got married on June 1, 2019 we selected Bev to have her as one of our vendors for our wedding cake and cupcakes. Bev is such a sweetheart we are glad that we selected her. The decorations on the cake and cupcakes looked beautiful and our family and friends enjoyed them! We had variety of flavors from chocolate marble, red velvet marble and strawberry with white cake. Bev was so generous and made small cakes for us to take home and sample them with our family to help us decided which we liked best! I would recommend Bev to my family and friends because she is sweet, patient, and willing to listen to your ideas. Bev has reasonable price for her delicious baking! We can't wait to work with Bev again in the future.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! Working with Beverly was such a wonderful experience and we are so glad we found her through our venue. Beverly is very honest and compassionate about her work and when you are looking for wedding vendors that is extremely important. All our guests raves about her cake!

Bev is the best and I loved working with her on ideas for my wedding cake. She is super sweet and baked me small cakes and cupcakes in different flavors to taste. Her cakes are so moist and yummy (I don't have a sweet tooth and I love her cake)! We did a 2 tier cake and cupcakes for my wedding - Bev decorated everything beautifully and make my cake table so pretty! Her pricing is amazing compared to other bakers I've contacted. I will definitely order cakes from her when I need them for other occasions. Thank you Bev for making my day special with your cake and cupcakes!

And i have visited at least four time. All during night time. The place is always very quiet and mute, service is dismissible. The employees that I have interacted with never smile. Which is a shame, most panaderias, per say, in San Jose, are usually very positive experiences. Not here. It's like they don't want to be there. Or maybe they're just too tired, nobody likes night shifts in food service. I get it. The pricing for this pan dulce is a tad bit more pricey than most places Ive visited. Even then, I wont take away that it is good quality. I've probably had at least 1/2 their types of pan they offer. Which why I have not stopped dropping by here and there, also, my son loves the dulce cuernitos.

The ambiance is cute with a small closed off glass area of wine and two seater table inside! Our waitress Dominique was amazing. She was able to give great recommendations for wines and food. She also made us feel taken cared of and was friendly/warm. The food is a mix of mexican/euro/american so there were a lot of different options. Here are the things we got: Appetizers - Parm crusted cauliflower: so good, nice and crunchy but not too heavily breaded. The chipotle mayo was delish - Chicharrones: so light and crispy! They were hot out of the fryer. It had a side of a corn cheese dip that was so good and made it more unique of a dish -- must try if you even kind of eat chicharrones. I don't generally like pork skin but I enjoyed it regardless. - Hamachi ceviche: this is a large sharing portion with chunks of hamachi and avocado. Good but not a must have. Entrees - Enchiladas: very cheesy and overall a good dish but I would skip this. - Shrimp tostadas: large size shrimp and it just comes with two tostadas so I don't think it was worth the price - Barramundi fillet: The fish was tender and juicy. I liked the marinades that came with it. I liked this dish with the rice because it made me feel homey. Good portion of fish. - Agua Chile Ribeye: This is a must have! The ribeye is sous vide so it was soo tender and juicy. The broth was really nice to keep everything moist and flavorful. Because we were celebrating a birthday, Dominique made a dessert with a nice special touch. Will definitely be back again!

Well I've done it, I've managed to find the best restaurant in the South East Bay. Range Life…read moreshouldn't be in Livermore, it's elevated above it. The ambiance, and most importantly the food absolutely scream to be located on Washington St in Yountville where they could make a billion dollars. Menu changes daily, not usually posted on their website until around 3pm so check often and if you see something you like on said menu, book a reservation immediately as it fills up quick. Bar and inside dining are great, but the outdoor patio is the spot. Lovely in the sun and if it gets chilly they have heaters and blankets (nice touch with the blankets). Back to the food, it's phenomenal. Every dish well thought out with the freshest ingredients possible; elevated and executed to perfection. Pasta is perfectly al dente and has that "chew" everyone tries to get, but rarely pulls off and rarer still, as well as Range Life does it. Servers, bartenders and host make for a truly welcoming environment. A place you want to sit down; eat, drink and be merry. It's akin to being transported to a place that you'll never want to leave. To hell with Disneyland, when I win the Super Bowl, I'm coming here. I assure you if you haven't been yet, you'll be back time and time again. Consider yourself warned. If you have experienced it before then you know exactly what I'm talking about and no further explanation is needed. Last night I went there for the 5th time. I've been there on dates and with big groups. Most of the time it has been amazing. This last meal, however, was flawless, and it inspired me to share today. First off, we did not have reservations on a Saturday night, and they were still able to get us 2 seats at the bar in 45 minutes, which was a relief. I was open to going to other downtown Livermore highlights such as Bourbon Pear or Il Campo, but was hoping on a whim we could get a seat at Range Life (which would typically require a reservation), since my date had not been there before. Once we got our seats, we were met with amazing service. At the moment I am not drinking, so I was wondering what kind of mocktails or non-alcoholic beers they had. Beforehand I was also wondering if they had a non-alcoholic aperitivo, since I know they have a lot of amaros and bitters. To my surprise, they did, so I had a non-alcoholic spritz, which was amazing. From there, we were only looking to get the highlighted entrées -- a black cod and a flat iron steak -- but we were also talked into getting one of their tartare/crudo options. We decided to go with the Amberjack crudo, which was absolutely amazing. It had mustard greens, fig leaf oil, and fresh early-season cherries, each ingredient something you were able to truly appreciate. The fig leaf oil, the fish, and the cherries were stunning, with the mustard greens providing a nice balance. From there we shared both the black cod and the grass fed flat iron steak. The flat iron steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful (despite being grassfed) that came with an amazing herb butter, mashed potatoes, and a porcini mushroom sauce that was absolutely to die for. The black cod was cooked to perfection as well -- tender, flaky, reminiscent of the butterfish I always have in Waikiki at Roy's. Accompanied by Iocopi English peas, bok choy, and turnips with dashi butter. The peas were, for what it's worth, probably the best peas I've ever had, and the vegetables were perfection. Light but amazing. The combination of both entrées was outstanding. Lastly, we had the famous Milk and Honey -- burnt honeycomb, olive oil, and malted milk ice cream. I've had it about 4 times now, and yet it was still surprisingly mind-blowing. I know something is truly amazing when I have to close my eyes and imagine the flavors bursting like a scene from the movie Ratatouille. I had to close my eyes to truly appreciate the crispy, sweet but slightly savory honeycomb, the fresh ice cream, and the olive oil for balance. The meal was absolutely flawless, and with the aperitivo, the Topo Chico, both entrées, and dessert, it came to $150 before tip. Honestly, it's a steal. I spent $300 at LB last weekend for a birthday dinner -- granted, I did get some A5 wagyu, an $80 14-ounce ribeye, a bunch of sides, and a couple of non-alcoholic drinks, which was amazing, but hardly a fair comparison. And if you go to the city or Oakland, you can easily spend $300-$500 on a meal, more if they have a Michelin star or two (or three). But for the quality you get, Range Life is an amazing deal. The fact that you can get this quality in Livermore is both convenient and remarkable.
