I'm here again to let everyone know that I think this'll be the last time I come to Better Buzzed or this location at least. The time before this one, my boyfriend had received a sandwich that had a large piece of plastic in the middle of it. I'm now here to let you know that we had ordered our drinks this morning and hadn't received them until much later after the people in line behind us had received theirs. Also, the quality difference between the two drinks is polarizing. My boyfriend and I ordered the lavender tea buz, one large, one regular. I'm not sure what all the hype is about this coffee shop. I visited on a Saturday morning, and it was quite busy. The place is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and it was very clean, though a bit loud. They offer a variety of merchandise, pastries, a breakfast menu, and numerous coffee drinks. My partner ordered a cappuccino, while I opted for drip coffee and warmed banana bread. The cappuccino was decent, but I had to wait 25 minutes for my drip coffee and banana bread. Unfortunately, the drip coffee had a burnt and acidic taste. I asked two staff members about my order, but both were quite rude. As a first-time customer, I would have appreciated a heads-up that my coffee would take longer than 20 minutes. Since I ordered a simple black coffee--no cream, sugar, or foam--I expected it to be quick to prepare, but that wasn't the case. I remained calm and polite while following up on my order. When my banana bread finally arrived, it wasn't even warm. I mentioned to the staff that I wanted it heated, and when I showed my receipt to confirm my request, one of them turned around and placed it in the oven. I understand it was busy, but I didn't think I deserved that kind of attitude. I waited patiently while my partner finished his drink, and this experience left me disappointed. We are from LA and we were in the area. My cousin was persistent about us coming here because she loves the drinks. There were a lot of people both in the store and in the drive thru. My husband saw this and wanted 2, he was throughly disappointed in the muffin. It had pecans all throughout the muffin. He only ate the top and spit out the bottom. I got a white mocha buzz with chocolate covered espresso beans, it tastes good but it was basically a latte when they handed it to me and when I said something she said it was because they put floating shots on it. I was just really confused because I didn't order floating shots and even if I did the actual blended part was pure liquid and and clearly not enough ice added. I unfortunately only get to treat myself to Better Buzz a few times a year because I live in Northern California. This last visit was the best I've ever experienced. I ordered the Pumpkin Chai iced (X4) and 2 pistachio croissants. Sadly, I got to the drive thru window to find that they had run out of pistachio croissants. The extremely nice employee, Jr., offered others options. I explained that I come to Better Buzz specifically for the pistachio and that I live in NorCal, so it's a rare treat. He offered a refund to me and also gave me two almond croissants on the house to give a try. How incredibly professional and customer service oriented that was of Jr. I am blown away by the excellent service. That young man will be successful in his future endeavors with his exceptional attitude and work ethic. You will NEVER, get the same drink or food twice, even if you order the same latte/food every time you go, because they are consistently INCONSISTENT. Yesterday was the first time I stopped at this location to grab myself and my mom coffee and breakfast. I ordered my normal Iced vanilla latte with cinnamon cold foam and my mom requested a cinnomon cold brew with pumpkin cold foam added and both of our drinks were flavorless and not good at all. I'm not sure if the coffee was over toasted or someone made the cold foams wrong and didn't add enough sweetener or flavoring but they were gross. I'm sad I wasted my free drink credit and spent an additional 21$ here. The one start is for the service because atleast the guy I ordered from was very nice! Better buzz is my go-to coffee shop whenever I'm in Southern Cali. It was my go-to when I lived there and visit the greater San Diego area. So I was excited to find out they now have a location in Temecula. The are BUSY! I visited a few times during my most recent trip and they were always busy. With that being said their staff are efficient. They have a staff member at the drive thru helping with drive thru orders so while the line is long it definitely moves and doesn't "feel" long. The occasion that I went inside, they were quick and check up on the clients who are waiting inside. They have some cute photo opps inside. So of course I had to take a coffee selfie! I 100% stand by their horchata coffee. It is hands down my favorite. My second would be the dirty chai.
