Coffee shop inTemecula, CA, Better Buzz Coffee. Though this location is a chain, we felt it was worth reviewing in case you are in the area. Better Buzz is similar to the "Starbucks" of San Diego. However, we could agree that the quality and taste is better! After several journeys to San Diego, we've had their hot Honey Latte . The drink had a sweetness in flavor from the honey, which balanced the coffee's bitter taste. We'd say it was a decent drink to enjoy. We also had their Vanilla Bean Latte with oat milk. This drink was on the sweeter end, but was perfect in flavor. If you ever want your drink less sweetened, you can always ask for half sweetened. Luckily, Better Buzz makes their own Vanilla Bean syrup, so the flavor isn't so artificial. We also had their iced Hazelnut Divinity with oat milk. Naty thought this drink was a delicious nutty drink with a subtle sweetness. Danny didn't share the same amusement with the hazelnut latte. He thought the drink was very artificial to the point where it became overwhelming. He waited for the drink's ice to dilute the sweetness, but the artificial sweetness was still intact. Danny prefers the Vanilla Bean Latte as the syrup tastes more homemade and blends best with the coffee! Better Buzz is a location very popular in Southern California and does get busy, so do expect a wait. There are many locations around Riverside County and San Diego County! I just moved to the city of Temecula a few months back and I really don't go out to explore. I was recommended this place by a friend and I loved it. Found out there was one down the street from me so I came to try it here. The parking is a bit cramped considering when the line gets long but let tell you everytime I have came the staff and workers are the best. They have great customer service and always very polite as well as professional. They are all young but they do a great job in delivering their service. Over all I absolutely love the vanilla latte flavors are there and it hits every time. Not to mention the esthetics in the place top tier. So far what I like the most is the people that work there and experiencing a great crowd every time I've gone ! read more

They gave me a container that had avocado on the bottom side. Great food. My dress, not so much. read more

This is the first Better Buzz Drive-Thru I've seen or been to. The hot Mocha de Mexico was as tasty as ever, but the wait time however was silly. I sat, and I sat, and I sat. Felt like Horton the Elephant. There was only one driver in front of me, but it took probably ten minutes. Staff apologized and they were very nice and asked for my Frequent Buyer cell number. Nice! So Five Stars for the Buzz, but barely Three for the wait. read more

I recently started going here because the drinks are pretty good and food is great. But every time I go they seem to mess up my order or forget items. They are super friendly though and great service every time. Wish they would work on accuracy of peoples orders. read more

First off, if it ain't better buzz, it ain't the business ;). My wife and I moved to Temecula back in 2023 and we were lucky enough to have a BB down the street. Not only is the coffee amazing, but the team has always been amazing too. In specific, Donovan who has been working there since we moved to Temeucla. He's one hard working guy, super professional and is incredibly committed to the BB team. He literally remembers your name and drinks :). BB you need to SERIOUSLY consider promoting my man to district manager and having him oversee all training bc this kid goes above and beyond. He's a wonderful human being and has a BRIGHT future. I'm not only saying this as a customer but as a business owner. I know talent when I see it and this kid has what it takes. BB I really hope you're keeping the talent bc this kid will simply add to your value as a coffee shop. Donovan thank you for making our experience with BB a 10/10 the last few years. You're the real MVP ;). Ah, last but not least, whomever picks the playlist, you're adding the spice to our lattes! Wouldn't doubt it if it was Donovan who picks the playlist too ;). Thanks BB and thank you again Donovan! - yours truly Britt and Drew read more

Coffee is always overpriced and Better Buzz is no exception. But their coffee is actually pretty good. Had multiple different coffee items over the course of a few visits and none of them have been bad. If you're ordering a sweetened drink keep in mind most of them end up more on the overly sweet side, but I don't mind. Their food has always been the disappointment. I think I've tried 3 different breakfast food items, different sandwiches, and they all are bad. Most recently was the sweet heat waffle sausage sandwich which tasted like freezer food with potsticker sauce to dip it in. But have had bacon ciabatta and ham and cheese croissant and both were below average. Have also had their pastries and they were not great and/or dry. Coffee: 4 stars Food: 2 stars The place has a cool vibe and some areas to sit. Staff have always been nice. read more

First time experiencing a coffee from better buzz and this drink was so bad it made me download yelp for the first time to write a review. I had gotten their cinnamon cream cold brew and it tasted like water with a splash of coffee and cinnamon I dont know if I got super unlucky or not but from this first time experience I will not be going again read more

Better Buzz Temecula always delivers--amazing coffee and good vibes. The drinks are legit (Best Drink Ever is actually the best), and the staff are always so kind and fun. Shoutout to Ayden for being especially friendly--give that guy a gold star or something 10/10 would caffeinate here again. read more

Complaint Better Buzz 32435 Temecula Pkwy. Temecula, CA 92592. I have been debating whether I should report this issue all day. I didn't like how I was feeling during and after the interaction between the Better Buzz employee and me. It is now 8:35 pm, and the issue happened earlier this morning (Tuesday, 5/12/2026) at about 7:15 am. At first, I was thinking about letting it go because I like Better Buzz coffee, especially in the morning on my way to work. After today, I am not sure if I will go back. This morning, I ordered a Chai Tea Latte. When I got up to the window to pay, I asked the man (dark hair) if he could add the military discount (20 years of service BTW). He then told me that I could have asked for that when I ordered. I acknowledged and replied, "I know, I forgot". He then said, "Now I have to create or open another check". I just sat quietly and listened. Then he said, "It just makes things more difficult". I still just listened. I then paid for my drink with a 20% tip and asked, "May I have a straw?" He said, "Excuse me, I can't hear you." So, I asked again, and he gave me the straw. I said thank you, and I drove away. I feel that after I replied, "I know, I forgot", that should have been the end of it. I think all the extra comments were unnecessary. I don't believe that was good customer service. I also don't believe this is the type of response Better Buzz expects from their employees. Before that day, I had just recently found out that Better Buzz offers a military discount. I found out when I was paying at the window. The very nice employee noticed I was using my Navy Federal card, and he asked if I was in the military or a Veteran. I replied, "Yes, I am a veteran." At that moment, he added the military discount. That was good customer service. That employee was professional, helpful, and represented Better Buzz well. read more

Spacious and great vibe. Nice decor and meet up spot. Good selection and products. Clean. Friendly staff.

Yummy scones and breakfast sandwiches. Friendly staff and usually the coffee is delicious. Once in a while, you can assume someone prepping drinks is new because I'll get a watery or bitter drink but most of the time they are consistent and delicious. read more

Best thing to happen to Temecula. Great coffee, pastries and service. Place gets a little crowded but I normally take to go anyways.

Best coffee spot in South Temecula. Drive thru might be a bit tight, but overall service and quality of coffee is awesome

Every time I go here I have a great experience, but today me and my friend went to grab coffee and the woman taking our order was really dismissive and it made us feel like a nuisance. I really hope their customer service improves. The drinks were okay too, not up to their normal standard. Best drink ever? More like worst drink ever. read more

1000% best coffee in San Diego Area. I have been stalking them for daily caffeine fixes since I discovered their kiosk in San Marcos. On Tuesdays you could always smell the Smokey warm scent of beans roasting as you drove thru the back business complexes of Carlsbad/Vista area.... It made me head straight to the small little coffee "shop" to grab either the Mayan Mocha or the Best Drink Ever depending on how my week was going... You can bet money that I was at the Grand opening a year ago for the Temecula location! The anticipation had me sweating like an iced Quad espresso! Everyone here is SO nice and professional, the seating area is clean, Wi-Fi is strong, and the drive thru is quick even when there are a lot of cars! Do yourself a favor and go here now. You won't want any other coffee again, and lucky for us, they seem to be expanding quite rapidly. Go Team Buzz!! Pro tip: get the app and order ahead to skip the lines. Then, get the iced Best Drink Ever 1/2 sweet. Thank me later. read more

I want to start off with this review by saying that the coffee and food were good. However, the reason for this bad review was due to the terrible customer service. Specifically the girls working at your establishment on 9/13 around 11-1. I get people have bad days, but being passive aggressive and rude to your customers when they ask questions makes you not want to come back. I would've just taken my business elsewhere if I knew I was going to be treated with such disrespect. read more

Inside is so disorganized. Spent over 300$ here since it opened and the first time we go in to order it was a mess. TLDR we left with out our drink. When we walked in there was only one person ahead of us. It took 19 minutes for my wife's coffee to come out. 22 min we asked where our second drink was and the couldn't find the ticket. We left because we had an appt to get to. You would think 25 min total would be enough time for two drinks but it's not. The gentlemen ahead of us got his drink after us. In the drive through they always ask if we have a phone number, not inside. They whole time we saw drinks being given to people who order d 15 minute after us. Looks like back to Starbucks. What a waste. No more. Hope someone enjoyed my coffee I left The geb read more

Had to try this new place off Temecula Parkway - and had my chance today when not just one but BOTH kiddos decided to pass out in the car. That's 40 minutes of sweet peace and quiet. Naturally I had to treat the moment. The drive thru wasn't busy, and I was a little confused as why they had someone standing out there taking orders (there was a whole two cars in the drive thru), but I figured that maybe it was the start before the rush? I get up there, and because there's a person standing there, it's a little more pressure to know what you want. Luckily I had looked at the menu prior and went with a matcha tea latte with coconut milk and a ham and cheese croissant. There's only two sizes - regular and large which bummed me out a little since I like to "nurse" my drinks and can go the whole day with the same small cup. My total for just those two things came out to $14 - holy shiz, guess that's what I get for the coconut milk substitute and pricey h&c? Anyhoo, I place my order with the girl - she's like a scrolling add asking if I want their promo, if I have the rewards card etc etc. And then finally I get to pay and have to select if I want to give tip (so physically tapping the screen and then grabbing my card). I'm curious if this is the procedure everytime? If so, holy cow that's a significant amount of time for a transaction (a simple one at that). Perhaps this is why some people have encountered a 45 minute drive thru line? I get to the window and am handed my drink and a bag with a pretty plump croissant. Instead of actual drink stoppers they use stickers which germaphobe me, not sure how I feel about that? I mean I'm sure they aren't touching the whole sticker and then putting it on the hole of the lid, but you know...pandemic has me thinking!! So my matcha latte ended up tasting like chai tea, which was really strange and pretty disappointing. I usually get the same drink from Sbux and it does not taste like chai tea - so someone is doing something different. Just to keep the convo going about chai; I don't like chai tea. So you can imagine how I felt after my 15 minute drive thru experience. Bummer. The croissant though was well worth it. It was actually for my son, who typically likes the h&c at sbux. I think because of the massiveness they put it in a chipotle-esque container which I thought was a bit excessive - maybe they could consider something else in the future? Just felt like a lot of material was wasted - bag + container. Just my two cents :) Overall, I probably won't be back. Was nice to give it a shot, but definitely not enough to win me over. read more

Stopped by for breakfast here for the first time. All the baristas were happy and welcoming. The vibe is upbeat and friendly. It was busy inside and in the drive-thru, but I had my food and drink within ten minutes. The wall decor is pretty. There's also merchandise that you can look at while you wait for your items near the entrance. I ordered a Rose Water Latte and a Bacon Ciabatta Sandwich. The barista recommended the drink. She let me know it's on the sweet side, so she made it 50% sweet and with oat milk for me. The latte was great. You can taste the quality of the coffee. The sandwich was crispy and delicious. I added avocado and tomato for an additional $1.50. The sandwich came with cage-free eggs, bacon, Muenster cheese, and a spicy chipotle aioli. They also have a deal going on for the holidays. If you buy a $25 gift card, you get your drink on the house. I will stop by again soon. read more

The customer service was great and drive thru was so quick! 10/10 would recommend. The pastries are great too!

Excellent place to stop . . . check that, . . . to drive-through, even it that means on the way to State Cup soccer tournament up the road. Everything about this was so perfect that we still made the game . . . the important one . . . grand daughter (8 and above) with Vista Storm Soccer Club. Today, Better Buzz has finally opened; the first one in Temecula. We normally stop by to get our iced lavender lattes in Mira Mesa and we're glad that the Buzz opened one here located on Temecula Parkway, thus saving us the time and distance to have a buzz. Inside is very clean as expected on their grand opening day. The staff members are upbeat on the first day of the job. The drive-through in this location is a lot more spacious in comparison to the one in MM. I hate to give this place two stars considering how much I love Better Buzz, I used to be regular at their OG location in San Diego. But since I've relocated to Temecula my drinks have been so inconsistent even when putting a mobile order I would arrive at the store, it wouldn't be busy but my drinks still won't be made at the time it says it'll be ready this happened a few times I just had to stop going. read more
