Coffee is always overpriced and Better Buzz is no exception. But their coffee is actually pretty good. Had multiple different coffee items over the course of a few visits and none of them have been bad. If you're ordering a sweetened drink keep in mind most of them end up more on the overly sweet side, but I don't mind. Their food has always been the disappointment. I think I've tried 3 different breakfast food items, different sandwiches, and they all are bad. Most recently was the sweet heat waffle sausage sandwich which tasted like freezer food with potsticker sauce to dip it in. But have had bacon ciabatta and ham and cheese croissant and both were below average. Have also had their pastries and they were not great and/or dry. Coffee shop inTemecula, CA, Better Buzz Coffee. Though this location is a chain, we felt it was worth reviewing in case you are in the area. Better Buzz is similar to the "Starbucks" of San Diego. However, we could agree that the quality and taste is better! After several journeys to San Diego, we've had their hot Honey Latte . The drink had a sweetness in flavor from the honey, which balanced the coffee's bitter taste. We'd say it was a decent drink to enjoy. We also had their Vanilla Bean Latte with oat milk. This drink was on the sweeter end, but was perfect in flavor. If you ever want your drink less sweetened, you can always ask for half sweetened. Luckily, Better Buzz makes their own Vanilla Bean syrup, so the flavor isn't so artificial. We also had their iced Hazelnut Divinity with oat milk. Naty thought this drink was a delicious nutty drink with a subtle sweetness. Danny didn't share the same amusement with the hazelnut latte. He thought the drink was very artificial to the point where it became overwhelming. He waited for the drink's ice to dilute the sweetness, but the artificial sweetness was still intact. Danny prefers the Vanilla Bean Latte as the syrup tastes more homemade and blends best with the coffee! Better Buzz is a location very popular in Southern California and does get busy, so do expect a wait. There are many locations around Riverside County and San Diego County! I kind of wanted to by one of the hats upon walking through the front door but settled for the "Best Drink Ever" and the bathroom. There is a Better Buzz around the corner from my house so if I get hat regret I can grab one there. This tastes like a BB, feels like BB, but doesn't seem to run like one. I mean, this is by far the slowest location I've ever been to. No hustle, no bustle, and a very lean staff. Hey, I hate crowds as much as the next guy but there is something about the energy that you typically find at a BB that adds to the experience and it's lacking here. On top of that, it makes for a slower transaction with only one person taking orders and making the drinks. With a line of 5 people or more this would be the makings of a real mess. All this being said, I do like the Better Buzz "chain" but this particular one falls just a touch short of my typical 5-star experience. read more

Better buzz is my go-to coffee shop whenever I'm in Southern Cali. It was my go-to when I lived there and visit the greater San Diego area. So I was excited to find out they now have a location in Temecula. The are BUSY! I visited a few times during my most recent trip and they were always busy. With that being said their staff are efficient. They have a staff member at the drive thru helping with drive thru orders so while the line is long it definitely moves and doesn't "feel" long. The occasion that I went inside, they were quick and check up on the clients who are waiting inside. They have some cute photo opps inside. So of course I had to take a coffee selfie! I 100% stand by their horchata coffee. It is hands down my favorite. My second would be the dirty chai. Specifically the girls working at your establishment on 9/13 around 11-1. I get people have bad days, but being passive aggressive and rude to your customers when they ask questions makes you not want to come back. This is the first Better Buzz Drive-Thru I've seen or been to. The hot Mocha de Mexico was as tasty as ever, but the wait time however was silly. I sat, and I sat, and I sat. Felt like Horton the Elephant. There was only one driver in front of me, but it took probably ten minutes. Staff apologized and they were very nice and asked for my Frequent Buyer cell number. Nice! 1000% best coffee in San Diego Area. I have been stalking them for daily caffeine fixes since I discovered their kiosk in San Marcos. On Tuesdays you could always smell the Smokey warm scent of beans roasting as you drove thru the back business complexes of Carlsbad/Vista area.... It made me head straight to the small little coffee "shop" to grab either the Mayan Mocha or the Best Drink Ever depending on how my week was going... You can bet money that I was at the Grand opening a year ago for the Temecula location! The anticipation had me sweating like an iced Quad espresso! Everyone here is SO nice and professional, the seating area is clean, Wi-Fi is strong, and the drive thru is quick even when there are a lot of cars! Do yourself a favor and go here now.
