When we walked in there was only one person ahead of us. It took 19 minutes for my wife's coffee to come out. 22 min we asked where our second drink was and the couldn't find the ticket. We left because we had an appt to get to. You would think 25 min total would be enough time for two drinks but it's not. The gentlemen ahead of us got his drink after us. In the drive through they always ask if we have a phone number, not inside. They whole time we saw drinks being given to people who order d 15 minute after us. Looks like back to Starbucks. Had to try this new place off Temecula Parkway - and had my chance today when not just one but BOTH kiddos decided to pass out in the car. That's 40 minutes of sweet peace and quiet. Naturally I had to treat the moment. The drive thru wasn't busy, and I was a little confused as why they had someone standing out there taking orders (there was a whole two cars in the drive thru), but I figured that maybe it was the start before the rush? I get up there, and because there's a person standing there, it's a little more pressure to know what you want. Luckily I had looked at the menu prior and went with a matcha tea latte with coconut milk and a ham and cheese croissant. There's only two sizes - regular and large which bummed me out a little since I like to "nurse" my drinks and can go the whole day with the same small cup. My total for just those two things came out to $14 - holy shiz, guess that's what I get for the coconut milk substitute and pricey h&c? Anyhoo, I place my order with the girl - she's like a scrolling add asking if I want their promo, if I have the rewards card etc etc. And then finally I get to pay and have to select if I want to give tip (so physically tapping the screen and then grabbing my card). I'm curious if this is the procedure everytime? If so, holy cow that's a significant amount of time for a transaction (a simple one at that). Perhaps this is why some people have encountered a 45 minute drive thru line? I get to the window and am handed my drink and a bag with a pretty plump croissant. Instead of actual drink stoppers they use stickers which germaphobe me, not sure how I feel about that? I mean I'm sure they aren't touching the whole sticker and then putting it on the hole of the lid, but you know...pandemic has me thinking!! So my matcha latte ended up tasting like chai tea, which was really strange and pretty disappointing. I usually get the same drink from Sbux and it does not taste like chai tea - so someone is doing something different. Just to keep the convo going about chai; I don't like chai tea. So you can imagine how I felt after my 15 minute drive thru experience. Bummer. The croissant though was well worth it. It was actually for my son, who typically likes the h&c at sbux. I think because of the massiveness they put it in a chipotle-esque container which I thought was a bit excessive - maybe they could consider something else in the future? Just felt like a lot of material was wasted - bag + container. Just my two cents :) Overall, I probably won't be back. Was nice to give it a shot, but definitely not enough to win me over. read more

Stopped by for breakfast here for the first time. All the baristas were happy and welcoming. The vibe is upbeat and friendly. It was busy inside and in the drive-thru, but I had my food and drink within ten minutes. The wall decor is pretty. There's also merchandise that you can look at while you wait for your items near the entrance. I ordered a Rose Water Latte and a Bacon Ciabatta Sandwich. The barista recommended the drink. She let me know it's on the sweet side, so she made it 50% sweet and with oat milk for me. The latte was great. You can taste the quality of the coffee. The sandwich was crispy and delicious. I added avocado and tomato for an additional $1.50. The sandwich came with cage-free eggs, bacon, Muenster cheese, and a spicy chipotle aioli. They also have a deal going on for the holidays. If you buy a $25 gift card, you get your drink on the house. I will stop by again soon. read more

Today, Better Buzz has finally opened; the first one in Temecula. We normally stop by to get our iced lavender lattes in Mira Mesa and we're glad that the Buzz opened one here located on Temecula Parkway, thus saving us the time and distance to have a buzz. Inside is very clean as expected on their grand opening day. The staff members are upbeat on the first day of the job. The drive-through in this location is a lot more spacious in comparison to the one in MM. I drove out of my way in hopes that I would finally get a artisan crafted coffee after a fairly disappointing weekend in Temecula/Murrieta... no such luck. 16 oz of dry over-steamed/scalded milk foam. Hmm I'm conflicted. It seems they are so inconsistent when it comes to making drinks. I order the same drink every time and it tastes different every time I get it.. I don't know why. Also, their turkey pesto sandwich for $9.50 use to come with thick slices of real turkey meat but I get it today and it's like cheap thin lunch meat? I didn't know what the buzz was about. But on my way to yoga one morning, I did a drive thru and got my Americano and chose a Ham and Cheese Croissant to go. This is one of the best croissant sandwiches I have ever eaten in my lifetime of the ham and cheese. It is flaky, nicely heated, conveniently and cleanly packaged, and I can't believe I would ever eat a croissant sandwich at say, another Starbucks, when you can get top notch quality here. They have a person standing to take your order when you drive thru to help take your payment so when you get to the window you just wait for your food. I went back a second time and got the same exact thing because it was so yummy, I couldn't allow myself to eat anything else. What a great coffee place. I love the location on east Temecula Parkway right at the roadside edge of a shopping center. It's easy to spot and get to, which is perfect with having a drive-thru window. I got the aptly named "Best Drink Ever," an Americano with some kind of vanilla yumminess added to it. I got it iced since it's summer! It was refreshing and delicious, a good pick me up. The car line wasn't crowded at all that afternoon and the female employee who helped me was incredibly nice and friendly. I loved that. Better Buzz has quickly become one of my favorite spots! My pumpkin spice latte was absolutely perfect--rich, creamy, and just the right amount of spice. It's definitely my go-to drink for the season, but I will have to wait until next fall for it to return!
