Stopped in before getting back on the road and came across this great little coffee spot. We met Jay who was so friendly and welcoming! It was our first visit there and Jay was very patient and talked us thru our options. Amelia, who made our coffee was amazing! She made my coffee perfect. It was a little too sweet at first but they were more than willing to remake it without any hesitation. As a result of all the phenomenal help and service, we purchased some additional coffee ware! this is a HORRIBLE location. if you want Better Buzz go to the other Rancho peñasquitos location I ordered my drink on two separate occasions both times I had to wait over 30 minutes for my drink and I still never got my drink and I had to come back the next day and get it. The workers are also extremely rude and they have no customer service coming from someone who works in retail. there's also no space in the parking lot so when you go you better hope there's no one in the drive-through or else you won't be able to park and get out of your car. read more

Poway is the closest location to me currently, but my experience is always poor. From being understaffed and mobile orders taking forever, to baristas not knowing how to make a regular menu item, and consistently inconsistent açaí bowls most of the time being terrible. The worst experience was recently being charged for two açai balls and the manager, having shut down the kitchen an hour early, telling me oh well after driving 15 minutes there to pick it up AND refusing to refund my money. Thankfully, the regional manager stepped in, but it was actually shocking that the general manager was so rude and so unprofessional. This location seems untrained and poorly managed which is sad because BB is my favorite! read more

I absolutely love this location! I go a few times a week and oftentimes try new drinks since they have so many great ones to choose from. I love how amazing the service is, all of the employees are so kind and welcoming. In particular, I went in today to pick up my mobile order and realized I need to buy a few gift-cards. I don't leave reviews very often, but this is the third time I literally just threw my coffee away after taking a few sips. When people order something a 1/4 sweet, it's usually because they don't like super sweet drinks right? How can a 1/4 sweet Snickerdoodle latte from here be more sweet than anything I've ever had at Starbucks? Are you guys just not paying attention and making it fully sweet every time or what? Cuz if what I got was a 1/4 sweet, what in the world would the full sweet version of it taste like?? Pure syrup? Don't think I'll waste my money here anymore. When this location opened, they had the perfect amount of staff (never a wait, never mess ups). They knew how to make the drinks and make them correct. Now, the employees don't even know how to punch in the phone # you give them for your rewards. They have tried several times now to give me my buzz unblended!! The girl keeps trying to tell me it comes with ice, milk, & espresso poured on top, NOT mixed!!? The point of a buzz is to blend it! Substitutes are incorrect at times as well... so If you need a dairy-free milk, triple check that they tell you what they used. Ambiance wise, this place is cold inside, literal and figurative. The furniture is hard and there are no cozy spots. Sometimes you barely even get greeted. I come between (1-6pm) but that doesn't mean you get to just not care about service anymore because it's not morning. read more

The service is always great at Better Buzz. They definitely take the time to help you and don't rush you or pressure you. Scott was at the drive thru and I really appreciate how he helped my sister decide what drink to get even though she kept making mistakes he was very patient and kind. I got the raspberry blonde 1/4 sweet and it was delicious. Sienna was also amazing. Every single time I come here without fail something in my order is wrong. They will read back my order and it still comes out wrong. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and an iced chai with regular milk. They handed me a hot chai and an iced chai. I came in and asked if I could get the latte instead of the chai and a woman with orange hair came up and told me she made it herself and remembers making a latte. On the sticker describing my order it said 2 chais. She opened the lid to check and it was a chai. She remade the drink after I said about 3 times what the correct order was. She handed me a regular latte, no vanilla. My most recent order was a large iced latte with white mocha and cinamon and a large iced chai. The girl taking my order read it back to me and it was correct. When I came through the drive through someone handed me a large mocha latte and a hot chai. I'm severely disappointed with the wrong orders. If I'm spending over 14 dollars for 2 drinks I would hope they'd be correct. read more

Not a good better buzz store. Team was very rude and just talked with each other. They made my drink wrong. I ordered the snickerdoodle latte and it tasted like white chocolate.
