I was so excited to see Better Buzz open up a location here in Phoenix! I love the location in San Diego so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, it did not taste the same.. I ordered the horchata latte and it was really bland? I couldn't really taste the horchata flavor. The store just opened a month ago so maybe they need more time to get situated read more

Excited to try something something new in the caffeinated beverages world. Unfortunately I can't say whether the actual coffee is good, great or bad. Here's why: As the store is still brand spanking new, the drive-through line was backed-up into Glendale Ave yesterday (03/23). Went earlier the next day and finally made it into the on-site line. The problem is, they have folks taking orders before you reach the menu board, so I just ordered what I could see on the specials. Made a mistake in ordering a marzipan cold brew, that was actually mazapán cold brew - at least I know what mazapán is now! I also got an almond croissant. Both items coming out to just over $10. Meh. Here's the thing. The almond crossiant had 'zero' filling. The only almond flavor coming from the almond flakes on top. It was clear the pastry had been pulled from a cold cabinet and was unfortunately very bready and devoid of flavor. Considering the price, you may as well walk over to Safeway and buy the same but cheaper and fresher. And then the drink. Interesting flavor. The mazapán is a sweet toasted nut affair, (so I read), and is separated from the cold brew when it first comes out. 10 mins later and it's all mixed in but just tasted like a mix of crème and sugar. The think that irked me the most was that despite being cold brew, there was just zero caffeine kick to it. Better Buzz? No. No buzz. Nothing at all. 3 stars because it's 'okay'. I'll be back for seconds and different food and drink. But at this moment in time, it's just a copycat Dutch Bros to me. read more

Love this place. Service is great. Food and drinks are delicious! Sara and Aubrey were so kind and personable!

This review is from a Postmates delivery. Ordered: Horchata Iced Latte: incredibly sweet. And i didn't even taste the horchata. Mazapan cold brew was great. I much prefer it 1/2 sweet. It was packaged well for delivery making great service. Over all for delivery it was satisfying. I would not hesitate to order from them via Postmates as my order arrived exactly how i placed it. I can't speak to the ambiance because i used a delivery service. read more

Low sodium yogurt bowl was a nutriious change. I added creamy Redi Whip on top of the delicious mix of fruit. Ham and cheese croissant, hit the spot. Expresso coffee was good to the last drop. I would order again from their menu. I would suggest this to everyone I know. Stephen (the driver) gets 5 stars. read more

This is the best better buzz in the country. Great service, speedy, and consistent. 5 stars!

I tried going the day it opened at noon and wow it was packed. I don't know if they were giving away free coffee but the line was outrageous. I decided to opt out and just tried later that night. It was still busy but nothing bad. I got the horchata latte. It was okay, a little too bitter for me. Service was notably fast. They have drive thru which is always a plus. They also have a few food items however I didn't try any. If you sign up for their rewards program you can a free drink after first purchase and on your birthday. With the many coffee shops in Phoenix I don't necessarily know if this one manages to stand out. I think I like more the local gems. read more

Bright, clean, fun and fast service. Got the killer bee, and was up all night in the best way. Pregamed for a fun night out. Just a buzz We love dark roast, and subbed it for the usual medium. It was strong, but surprisingly no bitterness. I'd be back. read more

Jayden was amazing! Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Cute spot. Parking is limited and tight, but they also have drive thru.

Got the hazelnut Divinity, but it was sweeter than normal, so Aubrey said she would re-make the drink or a different drink... she suggested the Horchata iced latte and it is now my new favorite! Thank you for doing that! read more

Better Buzz Coffee - Horchata iced latte with avocado toast - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

As a fan of Better Buzz's California locations, I was thrilled when they opened their new spot in Phoenix, AZ. While still tasty, only giving it 3 stars because I don't think it stacks up to the shops in California. The drinks don't taste as creamy, although they are still good. My go-to order is the Best Drink Ever paired with the Ham and Cheese Croissant. The vanilla coffee drink is on the sweater side which I prefer, while the croissant is perfectly flakey--I highly recommend getting it warmed up for an extra treat. However, a couple more drawbacks for me aside from the inconsistencies across locations: Parking can be quite challenging, although I appreciate the efforts made for traffic control. Inside, seating is limited, making it difficult to find a spot and it's hard to navigate if there are any sort of larger groups/strollers by tables. Adding a patio seating area would be a fantastic addition, especially during the nicer months in Phoenix. Get there early on the weekends for a more laid back experience and this probably won't be an issue. read more

Great latte, good breakfast sandwich, nice fruit cup. The place is very cute, but prices are high and the parking lot and drive through is a nightmare. If you're using a delivery service to pick up here TIP WELL! read more

Aubrey's the best and the Staff are so welcoming. Coffee is always good and the interior is nicely done

Great Vibes & Amazing Toast! Stopped by Better Buzz for a quick bite and was seriously impressed! I ordered the three seed avocado toast and it was so good--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The mix of textures from the seeds added a great crunch that took it to the next level. On top of that, the service was fantastic. A super friendly worker named Deisy helped me out--she was welcoming, kind, and really made the experience even better. It's always nice to see someone who clearly enjoys what they do. The atmosphere was chill, the food was delicious, and the staff made me feel right at home. Definitely coming back! read more

They are always grinding!! Literally... I respect how hard these guys work while always being present with the customers. That kind of experience is what turns people into regulars like me:) read more

Jenn and the team are amazing! This place is great and clean! They are so helpful! food is delicious!

I had an incredible experience at this coffee spot. From the moment I walked in, the service was truly extraordinary--every staff member was welcoming, attentive, and made the entire visit feel special. The menu is absolutely delicious, with a great variety of drinks and food that are clearly made with care and quality ingredients. Everything I tried was flavorful and perfectly prepared. What really stood out, though, was the manager, Aubrey. Aubrey goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels valued and taken care of, and that level of leadership really shows in the overall atmosphere. It's rare to find a place that combines amazing service, outstanding food, and such a positive environment all in one. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

It was a a great experience loved the staff especially Isaiah. He was extremely helpful. Got an açaí bowl it was amazing

Good coffee, good price, and the manager Spencer was very helpful. This place will definitely see more business from me.

I am so excited that we now have Better Buzz in AZ! Went here as early as possible in the morning since I have a feeling that it might get busier later in the day. The moment my family and I walked in we were immediately greeted and even though the place was a bit crowded - we were able to order quickly. Even when the place itself was a bit crowded it did gave me that excitement of what this coffee shop have yet to offer. I can see people sitting down and enjoying their meal or drinks. The ambiance itself was warm, lively, and welcoming. Love how aesthetic this place is especially with their brand :) The service was surprisingly quick and I like how organize their service system was. Good teamwork. The workers were helpful, attentive, and friendly :) I wasn't able to take a photo of the foods I got but I got the Açaí Bowl Islander ( first time having it and it was delicious), the better breakfast sandwich, and finally the Ice Snickerdoodle Latte regular size :) I'm definitely gonna come back for more! ^___^ See ya later Better Buzz! read more

Today was the grand opening of the new location at Tempe Market Station, so my wife and I stopped for lunch. Although this is a coffee shop, they have a nice selection of bowls, sandwiches and muffins. Staff was effective and very friendly. The store was small and crowded, but we found a place to sit and watch folks coming in while we decided. We had the Turkey Pesto sandwich and Snickerdoodle cookie and Zucchini Walnut loaf. Everything was excellent, our favorites were the Turkey Pesto sandwich and the Zuchhini Walnut loaf. Definitely plan to go back again. read more

Today i had the pleasure of having Isis assist me in ordering a smoothie and an açaí bowl with a few great additions. Thank you for being knowledgeable about the menu and tailoring the order to fit my needs. Stay buzzed read more

The food and drinks are good, but not good enough to battle the parking lot. There are only 12-15 spots and I think the employees must use them. Even when the restaurant only has a few customers, the lot is full. And even if there is a spot, the drive-thru line blocks the ability to pull out or in. It's a cute place inside, but not worth the effort. read more

Honestly my latte was pretty good but it was just crazy sweet. Asked and got charged for almond milk but they definitely just added whole milk in it, amond milk drinkers know... couldn't even tell them about it since my boyfriend got the drink for me and brought it home. Overall am really sad by this experience since it was really important for me to get the almond milk. read more

Aubrey was incredibly fast and friendly. My mobile order was ready in no time, and this location is always so clean!

If you love a SCOWL with a dash of not so nice attitude with your sugary overpriced drinks then this place is for you. Double points to the poor man's version of Audrey Plaza for going out of her way to be extra rude. She must truly hate her job. I asked her if I could have my 'Best Drink Ever' a tad bit sweeter since I did add extra shot of expresso to it and she rudely replied "You know I have to dissolve it right?" As though I had just inconvenienced her to the point of no return. She then took her little whisk to dissolve the vanilla powder and rolled her eyes in such a mean girls fashion. I kindly thanked her to which she just handed it to me and did not acknowledge my gratitude. Her personality was akin to a turnip. Kindness does go a long way these days and I was always taught to be kind to those who are being nasty towards you. If this is the way BETTER BUZZ trains their employees then she wins the employee award of the year for fitting right into the bitchy uber snobby BARISTA stereotype hands down. I spent over $20 bucks and trust me I will never come back to this location. Worst Coffee Shop Ever. read more

There's better coffee in the valley (by a lot). The layout isn't good for a drive thru so it causes a ton of back up when it's busy. Food was alright and staff were nice so that's why I gave it 2 stars but definitely wouldn't go back for coffee. We got the hazelnut divinity and Moroccan spice coffees read more

I loved this little, hopping coffee shop on a Sunday morning before church! Everyone that was working was welcoming and joyful the moment we walked in. There was lots of options for coffee and breakfast. I love that they have the option for half sweet. I went with half sweet and my drink was still very sweet, so next time I will probably go with quarter sweet. The only downside was there was not much parking available and the drive thru was backed up almost to the road. We ended up parking on a side street and walking in to order. Don't let this stop you from trying Better Buzz, just give yourself some extra time! I will definitely be going back to try more of the menu when I visit Arizona in the future! read more
