I loved this little, hopping coffee shop on a Sunday morning before church! Everyone that was working was welcoming and joyful the moment we walked in. There was lots of options for coffee and breakfast. I love that they have the option for half sweet. I went with half sweet and my drink was still very sweet, so next time I will probably go with quarter sweet. The only downside was there was not much parking available and the drive thru was backed up almost to the road. We ended up parking on a side street and walking in to order. Don't let this stop you from trying Better Buzz, just give yourself some extra time! I will definitely be going back to try more of the menu when I visit Arizona in the future! read more

Went to Better Buzz opening weekend! Thankfully we woke up early and arrived at 7:30am on Saturday. We only had to wait 10-15 minutes. We ordered the Best Drink Ever and the Cinnamon Cream Cold Brew. Both were really great coffees. The cinnamon cream cold brew was on the sweeter side and was way better than any of the cold foams at Starbucks. I came here today for their VIP soft opening -- they open tomorrow 2/16! It was a great experience. They have an indoor cafe, as well as a two-lane drive-thru. They were busy and the parking lot was pretty full. We opted for the drive-thru, and thanks to the two lanes and amazing staff, it moved very quickly. I tried the rosewater latte, orange matcha latte, and avocado toast. I loved it all, and would order any of them again. The lattes were balanced exactly how I like them -- sweet but not overwhelming, with just the right amount of flavoring. The staff were all friendly and kind. I recommend it! read more

Coffee was super yummy! however the service was not good. Sunday June 30th around 2pm My mom, bf and I were super excited to try this place and when we got in we were disappointed. We were not greeted at all when we went in. Not even acknowledged. It was not busy at all and the cashier didn't even bother to ask if we needed any recommendations. I didn't get their name but they had a man bun. Besides the non-existing "customer service" the coffee was yummy I ordered the iced white chocolate latte. but because of the bad service my mom didn't even order anything. First time at the AZ location that just opened up, but I have been to the Better Buzz coffee shop in CA. I was very satisfied with the drinks & breakfast items we chose. Highly recommend the horchata latte & 3-seed avocado toast. The service was great, & they were very quick considering how busy it was. I was a little disappointed that we were unable to go inside & enjoy the atmosphere. The parking lot consisted of maybe 6 parking spots. The parking spots are blocked by the drive thru. So happy they opened up this coffee spot. Everytime I'm back home in SD it's my go to coffee spot! I usually order the hot hazelnut divinity and the iced chai latte. The drinks are so bomb! The drive thru lanes are long but quick. Customer service is on point. Make sure to download the app to get points for free drinks. The workers were not friendly one bit and when I asked about recommendations, they seemed short and felt like I was being rushed. We came to the grand opening of the Phoenix location. Line was out the door which is great for them! We were excited to try several items: the açaí bowl, and the smoothies. We were told that they were not available because the machine is down. Machine down on the very first day?? So we settled with a drink, and a sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good....a little steep for $10, bread was a little on the dry side. The iced latte was pretty good. Also paid near $8 for one drink. I'm sure we will come back again. I was super excited to hear that Better Buzz was opening a location in the Valley! I have great memories getting a cold, sweet drink that absolutely hit the spot during a sunny day at Mission Beach in San Diego. I am sure many Phoenicians share a similar experience while escaping the heat in CA for the summer. The shop had very similar vibes to the CA locations that I have visited. It was great to have some familiarity with the store. I personally wouldn't be able to get much work done there because of the busyness and loud music, but there were a handful of people hanging out and working there just like any other coffee shop. My dad and I ordered a Java chip Buzz and a Vanilla Buzz (their signature blended drink). Very tasty and refreshing; tasted just as I remember it in Sunny San Diego! Floors were a bit dirty, but the rest of the place seemed clean, staff was friendly, and we got our drinks quickly. I also just downloaded their app because they mentioned a chance to get a free drink. I will be back! read more

I ordered a rose water latte in the drive through. Tons of cars, the line was backed up onto Glendale. The woman taking my order didn't ask what kind of milk I wanted or seem very friendly. I assumed that would mean the latte was made with whole milk.....? When I got my drink, it seemed thin and watery, so I'm actually not sure what it was made with. I asked for it to be made sweet, no indication on the ticket that it was and doesn't taste sweet. Lot of hype, but meh drink and experience. They just opened, so I'll try again. read more

I love the Better Buzz in San Diego, so I was so excited when this location was opening as it's on my way to work. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in my experience. I ordered a coffee, which was good! Very creamy and sweet. More of a treat than a coffee. I also got the Better Buzz breakfast sandwich, but I wish I hadn't. It was so bland and flavorless. The bacon was stretchy and the arugula was abnormally bitter. For $10, I felt ripped off. I'll stop by for a coffee once in a while, but I'll stay far away from the food offerings. read more

They've priced me out of returning. The coffee is decent, but 16oz. for $6.50 doesn't work for me. Also, I could have guessed that the parking and drive thru full of people willing to pay that much would not work. Plan to be in line for a while, and if you park, you'll need assistance getting out. My daughter,unprompted for her opinion,said,"I thought my hot chocolate tasted familiar. It took a little while to realize it tastes just like the chocolate milk at school. Went through the drive through today to order a coffee and the staff were really nice and helpful. Sadly the coffee was terrible. I had the ice horchata latte and it was honestly the worst coffee Ive ever tasted, as an avid coffee drinker. There was no horchata flavor, the coffee tasted watered down. Not sure if they use ice coffee or espresso but it definitely didn't taste anything close to espresso. Tossed the coffee sadly. I finally decided to try out this place after seeing it all over social media and I wouldn't say it's worth all the "buzz". I do enjoy the atmosphere and the location but the actual food and coffee wasn't the best for the price tag. I got a small iced white chocolate mocha and honestly it was a 4/10. I also got the bacon ciabatta sandwich and it was an 8/10. The total was $17, I get it, it's a cool coffee place but not worth it too me. I love better buzz in San Diego. So far I find that it is not user friendly. I have almost been hit each time I have entered the parking lot. It is not set up for a two lane drive through. If you have the bad sense to park it is a good luck getting out situation. I felt extreme panic getting in and out. Once we just left because it was such a parking hazard. I have been going to better buzz in San Diego for years. I enjoy the mint cold brew. I did not enjoy the toffee latte because it was like candy. I think if you like Frappuccino's it will be perfect for you. I thought it was an actual latte which was my bad. I bought a very expensive mug to show support. I don't mind the cost but I do mind that the lid doesn't stay attached. I ended up with coffee all over me the first time I used it. I am really happy to have you here but I do hope that you figure out a safer path for your drive through. Right now it's a serious traffic hazard. read more

I was a fan of better buzz before they came to phoenix! It was almost ceremonial to visit every time I was in San Diego. The drinks and food are amazing!
