This San Diego based coffee shop just opened yesterday and it was delicious!!!!! We absolutely loved the warm welcome we received from staff and the service was great, everyone was very knowledgeable and helped us to order our drinks since it was a new menu for us. They have tons of food options, avocado toast, sandwiches, and lots of pastries. I didn't see anything gluten free but I didn't ask them specifically for that bread but I didn't see anything gluten free GF pastries. They have a huge menu of coffees, teas and specialty drinks. The only sad thing was that I ordered my husband an Americano and he said the coffee tasted terrible, but we absolutely loved our pumpkin chai and our snickerdoodle latte. We ordered them with oak milk and it was delicious! So tasty!!! We will be back to try the food and update the review. Also the music was bumping and the vibe was vibing! read more

Should be rebranded to Better Buzz Syrup. This was probably the worst drink I've ever had. This is not coffee, it's all syrup and sugar.

Stopped by the drive thru and tried the blended coconut with added chocolate espresso beans. The drink is different - the pour hot espresso on top, so the drink is not really cold/blended and the syrup was all at the bottom. After stirring, the drink was basically an iced drink. They did not include the chocolate espresso beans (upcharge). I asked about the beans and was assured the beans were in the drink. Taste wise, it was good once I stirred it (coconut flavor all on the bottom; espresso pores on top), but the ice melted within a couple minutes and was more a lukewarm drink read more

We had heard great things but don't feel it lived up to it's hype. I love the variety on the menu. We tried thr horchata best coffee and chocolate horchata. Both were okay and lacked flavor. We also tried thr breakfast sandwhich on gluten free bread. While the sandwhich was quite large which is great for 10 dollars the gf bread was one of the worst that I tried. read more

Staff is friendly and supportive in ordering. The drinks are handcrafted to your specification. I've had the Mexican Mocha and iced Vanilla Bean...both modified in amount of flavorings and one with almond milk. Both drinks were great. I've only tried the banana bread and that is moist and tasty. The setting is clean, bright and inviting for those who want to stay and work or just chat. Will definitely return! read more

another amazing better buzz spot. so happy to see these be popping up all over the valley! this location is so convenient and in a great area. staff was so so welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. i came to this location to get my birthday drink and it was delicious! i ordered a nitro cold brew with white chocolate and hazelnut with half and half. so creamy and yummy! this location does have a lot more seating than some of the other locations around the valley, so this would be a good spot to work remotely or to meet with a friend! they also have a decent sized patio area outside too which will be perfect for the nice weather coming soon. highly recommend this location - they are great!! read more

The service was outstanding and the place is cute but the parking is terrible! For being a new location, the layout of the parking lot was not well thought out. The drive through line is directly in the way of parking spots for the customers who want to park. Also, the businesses on both sides are Circle K and a car wash which doesn't lend for extra parking for coffee. The coffee itself was super sweet- I got a hot Snickerdoodle Latte and it was syrupy sweet- If you like Dutch Bros , you'll love Better Buzz! A large latte was almost $9 - so all in all it wouldn't be my first choice to meet up for coffee! It's expensive and too sweet for my taste! read more

I really like Better Buzz in general. The mint infused iced coffee is my favorite new thing and it's gotten dangerous how often I crave it. However, I have a couple reasons for the 3 out of 5 stars. First is consistency. I've been through the drive thru and inside now, and the service is hit or miss. I've had better customer experience in the drive thru, but the wait is never the same, regardless of how many cars ahead of me. I don't think I got a single smile out of the employees that served me inside, but it was a bit faster. So overall, the lack of consistency in service is a big one for me. Second might be nitpicky, but the inside is LOUD. I like to sit at coffee shops to write or work, and I don't think I'll be back to Better Buzz for either. It's not a relaxing or productive environment, which some aspects of that are out of their control, but the music volume is. I realize this is preference though, so grain of salt. The coffee is delicious every time, no complaints there. But with so many coffee shops like Dutch, Black Rock, Black Rifle, etc. popping up, I think Better Buzz needs to step it up to compete. read more

Our cashier was super patient as we half stumbled through our order. The interior is an awesome vibe and there were multiple people actively on their laptops studying or just eating which I liked. I came and ordered 5 drinks for everyone in my house, and they were all out in a minute or two and still tasted great. I personally had the snickerdoodle latte, my go to at coffee shops, and this is possibly one of the greatest I've ever had. I'd choose this place over the Starbucks across the street anytime. read more

Better Buzz is such a vibe! I ordered the coconut drink and honestly--it was fabulous, probably one of the best drinks I've ever had. The inside atmosphere is great with good music playing, and they have plenty of areas that are perfect for studying or just hanging out. The lines are extremely long for the drive thru and the parking lot is poorly designed to handle such a long line. It takes forever going through the drive thru so expect to wait a while. It's more expensive than Starbucks for a sandwich and a coffee. It tastes like any other coffee and breakfast shop. Honestly why are we still supporting overpriced corporate coffee chains? After have been going to BB after 2 weeks I can honestly say the drinks are definitely delicious, but overpriced in comparison to my usual across the street for the same drink and no charge of changing out milk.. BB is overpriced though for everything on menu in comparison...But BB taste better hands down. Customer service is okay.. REALLY hate having to repeat myself/ourselves when ordering or giving out phone number for rewards.
