We have been here multiple times over the years and went back again yesterday for breakfast. They have remodeled the restaurant and it looks really nice. They even have a bar and serve alcohol now. Our waitress was so friendly and personable! The service was understandably a little slow due to it being Thanksgiving morning and then being really crowded. I had the blueberry pancakes, which were filled with lots of blueberries and cooked just right. My dad had the country omelet and my fiancé had the eggs Benedict. We all enjoyed our food and will be back again soon!

11.24.25 Bethany Diner Review We were in the area around lunchtime, and my mom mentioned stopping here--she and my dad used to come after church on Sundays. So we decided to give it a try. It wasn't very busy for a Monday. Our server took our drink orders while we looked over the menu, which has a lot of options. It's a large menu with daily specials, and many of the sandwiches--like the clubs, wraps, hot-pressed paninis, and melts--can be made in different combinations for the same price. The meals are reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The club sandwiches especially are big enough to share if you just want a light lunch to hold you over until dinner. Mom ordered a club, my wife had the tuna melt, and I also went with a club. Everything was very good. I ended up taking half of mine and half of Mom's home and had it for dinner. My wife also had the navy bean soup and said it was really good--something she'd definitely order again. When we're in the area, we'll be back.

We are here in town from Pittsburgh on vacation. We had breakfast at the diner this morning and it was wonderful! The portions, especially for the kids were great too. They were happy and we left with full bellies. Our server was really nice as well. We got a mix of pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, French toast, a Belgian waffle and the country fried steak. Everything was great! Looks like a much newer facility, and I was thinking for a diner it would have a little bit of an older feel to it. But it was still great. It was busy when we got there, but they got a table together for us quickly. We would come again!

Had breakfast on a busy day, people waiting for seats and the restaurant was full with every table/booth occupied. Our server came as soon as we were seated and took our drink order. Decided to have the creamed chipped beef over white toast with home fries. It did not disappoint. It was a generous portion of both. The chipped beef was nice and creamy, the home fries booked just right. I also had an iced coffee as my beverage. Service was quick even as busy as it was.

Food was ok and server was nice. Grits wasn't good, no taste at all. The crab Benedict was a bit salty but they poach the eggs right

A number of people including my friend recommended this diner for breakfast. This was my first time here around 9:30 am on a Saturday for breakfast with my friend, who recommended this diner. My friend said this place is always busy and hard to get in for breakfast. When we arrived we were offered a table or booth. We opted for the red booth. We were seated immediately at a booth on the left side. Bethany Diner is an American diner with a classic comfort food breakfast menu. It is reminiscent of a 1950s diner, with its red vinyl booths, tables and chrome accents. We both started with a cup of coffee for $2.99 each. Coffee includes unlimited servings. My crab cake eggs benedict with home fries for $15.99 was average at best. The crab cake had very little crab meat and too much filling. My eggs were also over cooked. My total bill for both of us was $33 excluding gratuity. Yana served us very well. I doubt I will return here, since we have other better breakfast restaurants in the area.

My turkey sandwich didn't even have cheese & for $15 bucks each you only get 1/2 a sandwich when you remove all the excess bread. Even the lunch places in NYC provide more between the bread. Sunshine Baguette doesn't have crepes lol With a display case full of fresh baked goods, you will want to come here early and often. They open at 7 AM and do sell out of some of the most popular flavors. We stopped up for a quick lunch during our beach day. Located just over the first street from the beach, Sunshine Baguette is in the Shore Fun Family Fun Center. The store is super cute with decorations and a small indoor seating area - they do have a few tables outside that hopefully have patrons and not just pedestrians. We grabbed: - Turkey, Bacon, Avocado, Fontina Panini: Warmed up to a perfect toasty crunch, the panini had such fresh flavors that you could tell it was not just put together that morning, but perfectly handcrafted to have a bit of everything in every bite. - Ham Gruyère Croissant: Definitely get this warmed up too! The croissant was so flaky that when toasted, it added a perfect crunch with the gooey Gruyère. We can't wait to stop in again and again to try more pastries and delights!

When trying to pull up directions, the map was not loading for the other restaurant that was my first choice. Taking it as a sign I put in the directions for Juicebox instead. I am so glad we went to Juicebox, because when walking in I knew it was the place for me! Even though I was originally in the mood for acai, I ended up ordering the Salad Sampler. My dad ordered the Boyfriend sandwich and the Mango Madness smoothie. The girl taking our order was friendly and seemed like all the workers behind the counter were working efficiently. The interior of the restaurant is small and there are some tables outside, but it seems like this is a great grab-and-go place. We took our food to go. The salad sampler was so much prettier and fresh than I had imagined. The vegetables and fruit were incredibly fresh, the dressing was tasty, and the chicken salad was fantastic. I saw you could buy containers of their goddess chicken salad, which is definitely something I would consider. My dad loved his smoothie and enjoyed every bite of his sandwich. None of the fillings were lacking. If I have the chance again, I will surely be back to Juicebox, as there is still so much more I would love to try from the menu! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a fresh and tasty option at the beach.

I arrived there on Labor Day Monday as the weekend was booked. I took off work completely on that Tuesday. But worked at the house on Wednesday & Thursday. Thankfully, my work was very slow in summer 2023 in general. On that Wednesday, a lot of the group went all the way down to Ocean City, MD to go to Seacrets. I had some things for work. Around midday, 2 people who stayed behind suggested going down to Bethany Beach to see their boardwalk area. My work was slow. I brought my laptop in case something came up. We walked the boardwalk and figured our lunch options there, where we settled on Lili's Place. This was an interesting combination of Pizza & Empanadas! Both were outstanding there. It was a cheap lunch too. I got a cheese slice for $4 & beef empanada for $4.50. Staff was nice too. It's a smaller place. Unfortunately, about 3 hours later when I looked at the receipt I realized 3% surcharge for credit card, but it was just 26 cents. Delaware has 0 sales tax, so being from Maryland, I'm just used to paying some random number of cents, so I didn't think about getting charged $8.76 amount. 3% surcharge in Delaware is still less than 6% sales tax in Maryland. Credit card fees have sometimes been common in touristry areas and are becoming more common in MD in non-touristy areas. Even though only 26 cents difference, if I had realized, I almost definitely would've paid in cash. Having said that minor negative, they still earned the full 5-stars.
