I really enjoyed my stay here. This hotel is located right off of 95. Great place to stay when traveling to and from Florida like I did or just if you want a clean hotel for overnight. This hotel allows dogs. Checkin was easy. The staff was very nice. I had a king bed room which was spacious. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows and very comfortable mattress. There was a recliner also in my room. The room itself was very clean, neat and organized. In the bedroom was a large cabinet was a refrigerator and microwave built in. In the vanity area was a blow dryer, and coffee pot. In the closet was an iron and ironing board. In the bathroom, the shower had great water pressure and lots of hot water. This hotel has free WiFi and free parking. All the rooms are on the first floor. You can park right in front of your room which makes carrying luggage in and out very easy. In the morning stating at 6a they served a full breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh ham, pancakes, grits, biscuits, sausage gravy, cereal, oatmeal, juices, coffee. Bagels, toast, and muffins, and fresh fruit. Directly 20 feet from my hotel room is a quaint steakhouse called Captain's Quarter's Seafood and Steak, which was good . There are also many other restaurants only 2 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again. It's the perfect little gem.

clean comfortable and very well presented. Staff was excellent both front desk and at breakfast. the quality of the breakfast was excellent and the food very fresh. the coffee was superb, and even the freshly baked cookies were delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel and at the price is very good value for money. My wife and I vowed no more looking for cheap hotel pay a few bucks more and have really first class accommodation. this meets that criteria.

I travel a lot back & forth from Miami to NJ, & needed a hotel to stay at that's pet friendly. My client recommended this hotel, so I thought it can't be that bad.. well it was! Access to rooms are on the outside. Just 1 floor motel. They put all the customers staying with dogs in the same area. Well I walk into the room & it smells like dog.. now I have stayed at alot of pet friendly hotels & they seem to get it right but not this one! Dirty too with dog hair on the chair, REALLY old furniture, needs an update bad!!!! Light bulbs were out! That should be a simple fix! & they couldn't even keep up with that! Paint was peeling, sink was clogged.. the only positive I have to say about this motel is the breakfast, good choices. But I will NEVER stay there again! Too many other choices for the same price.

We welcome the opportunity to stay here when passing through on our way from South Florida to the Northeast, which is about once per year, but we still enjoy the stopover. The hotel is quite cozy, clean and well maintained. It's been upgraded, it seems, since our last visit, and all is very pretty. We called from the road, and the desk clerk was very friendly and got us taken care of, and also signed me up for the rewards program at the same time. Nice upselling! We also enjoyed the lobby breakfast in the morning.

Very clean, quiet, great for us Looking for a halfway stop on the way south, I chose this BW Plus after reading reviews. Super glad we has a reservation as apparently the golfers are in town and there was no vacancy. The hotel is just a couple blocks off 95 but next to a lovely golf course and was very quiet. It is an older one story hotel, and you can park right at your door. The entrance is exceptionally welcoming, with pretty lights adorning it, and comfy chairs with beachy themed pillows outside. The office/dining room opens into a heated outdoor pool, which had very clean, warm water, confirmed by meju touching it. Our room had older decor with high bed, but very, very clean and comfortable. Super good bright lighting in the room with multiple lamps. The bathroom was very clean, and the towels were quality and fluffy. See pics. I saw the housekeeping carts when we checked out, with multiple spray bottles of Tilex, and our tub was spotless. Breakfast was fairly usual for a BW, although I was disappointed they had run out of bacon. Despite age, for cleanliness, quiet and comfort, I give this Santee BW Plus an A+.

We have stayed at most Tru locations along I95 but this was our first time at this location. The reviews looked good so we booked it! We actually received our digital check in prior to arriving, the digital key actually worked, and we actually received the room we chose. Unfortunately, we arrived later in the evening so most of the decent restaurants close by were closing. We decided to set up shop in the lobby and order Uber Eats. There was a male and female working the front desk, who were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was sold out for the night and it definitely showed! The lobby was constantly full of traffic. While we sat in the lobby and ate, we also watched tv, which the staff gave us the remote to change the channel. There are multiple televisions so multiple channels can by watched. We purchased beer and wine from the market but I wish there was a better selection for the wines. There was a shift change while we were there and the next employee hustled her butt off! I wish I would have asked her name because she was working nonstop the entire time we were sitting there. She was about 5'8", slim, African American, maybe mid 30's, and working Saturday evening into Sunday morning. The room was clean, the AC worked well, the shower did not have a lot of pressure though. Breakfast was good and when I inquired about any bananas, the breakfast employee went and grabbed me some from the back. I wanted to tip but didn't have any cash and she said don't worry about it. The staff were good at this Tru! Oh and when we were at breakfast, we noticed a sign stating no alcohol sales on Sunday in the market so good to know.

My dog and I had been on a roadtrip to the Florida Everglades and heading back to New Hampshire. In…read morethe first leg of the journey home I made it as far as Santee South Caroline. It was frigid out and the forecast was for lows in the teens so I decided it would be better to get a room for me and TBone for the night. Using the Priceline website, I found a pet friendly hotel for the best value (cheapest) $42. The Quality Inn and Suites in Santee. I booked through Priceline and the problems started as soon as I arrived. Right off the bat, an additional $5 servicing fee (they could not explain what that was) but ok. Then they wanted an additional $25 dollars for the dog (non refundable). As the price was now at $68, and a $100 security deposit that was not mentioned on the Priceline app nor the webpage. I decided TBone and I could stick it out in the RV. I would just keep it running intermittently throughout the night. When I tried to cancel the booking through Priceline, I could not be refunded so I had to stay and TBone could stay in the RV. I gave the hotel clerk $100 cash security deposit although not happy about it. So we stayed, however, I watched TV in the room for half an hour, took a shower, but decided I would also stay in the RV with TBone and just start it up periodically to heat. In the morning, I showered in the room and went to return key and get back my deposit. The clerk and manager (owner turns out) had to go check the room first. As I had not slept there, there should have been issues. However, they returned from the room and denied me my $100 security deposit. They explained there was blood on the pillowcase. The clerk showed me the picture and there was a blood stain but it was smaller than the area of a dime. I reached behind my neck and I did have a mosquito bite from the Everglades and I must have unconsciously scratched it. Hardly a reason to deny my refund. This is a hotel and people get scratched and bug bites. Incouldnmotncinceivenidnwhybthey would keep my $100 for a pillowcase. I believe they already knew they were gonna try to get me for something from the light before when I tried to cancel. The room was otherwise unused and spotless. I didn't sleep in the bed and it was still made, not a wrinkle. I feel like this is actually criminal on their part as they could not produce any policy on this security deposit and what it entailed. Do yourself a favor...do not check into the Quality Inn and Suites I. They will try to pull one over I. You or Rob you. If I can attach a picture of the stain I will. Absolutely scandalous
