We were able to taste several options and piece together our menu for the wedding reception. The food was served to my guests in well sized portions while still hot and in a timely manner. The main reason I'm Yelping is to say THANK YOU to the staff on duty Saturday, September 17 between 10-1130am. I could not get a Uber to pick me up to take me to the airport for a flight that was leaving that afternoon to take me back to New York. While I got an Uber to take me from the airport to the condominium, it was challenging to get a driver to take me back. Maybe because it was an hour away from the airport. Idk. But I made my desperation known to the staff. My family had already left, thinking, like me, I could easily get a Uber back to the airport, CHARLESTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Initially, the staff couldn't help me. But I guess after seeing me pace back and forth, watching my phone for Uber to connect me to a driver, the staff said we got to help her. And the staff did. The staff gave me the name of a Uber driver, Debbie, who lived ' right down the road.' I couldn't believe it when the receptionist walked out of the sales office with that number in her hand. Apparently, Debbie is known to the manager who wasn't working that afternoon. But someone on the staff must have contacted the manager who gave the staff Debbie's number. I called Debbie. She answered and picked me up in ten minutes!!!! She had her Uber notification off until I called her!!! She said Uber is helping pay for her college degree. I was never so grateful to see a Uber driver. Debbie and I made it a half hour before the JetBlue flight boarded to NY!!!! I thank you CLUB WYNDHAM Lake Marion for not giving up, asking the right question to the right person. I thank you Debbie for answering your phone when you did!!!! Moral: Always be kind. You never know from where your angels will come

When attending a show at the Fusion Theater, guests are welcomed with a smile. There are tables for you to sit at while attending a performance. you enjoy a snack from the concessions while watching or listening to Shortwave Kitsch (SWK), a 1940s podcast performed live accompanied with a piano, songs, and commercials. SWK is making waves on the shortwave radio frequency. The frequency modulation is enjoyed by an audience.

I am traveling on an extended roadtrip with my cats. Because they are spoiled, they require a lot of "stuff". I look for specific things in a hotel and found this hotel to exceed my expectations. Although my "asks" are simple, sometimes hotels fall short. Not here. While making my reservation I asked quite a few questions and whoever I spoke with was very patient and helpful. Upon driving onto the property, the place looked like it was on a very large piece of land...very spacious. When I checked in, Jean was very professional and nice. She gave me waters and cookies (why doesn't every place do this?) When I got to the room, the cats were super happy with the cleanliness of the room, the space, especially the large window they could sit in for the view of the trees in the back...they were not happy that the bed is on a platform and were not able to get underneath. But that made ME happy! Breakfast in the morning was plentiful. I had mini waffles that I made myself, I had some eggs and Canadian bacon. Like a real FULL breakfast. Not just one or the other... there were also juices, muffins, fruit! and bread choices from bagels to toast. And the coffee was decent. So many places just don't even get this right. I wish I was staying more than a night at this location.
