Outside front entry: Floor lamp and wood pallet
Sandy R.

Stopped here while traveling along I-95. I'm a bit in a quandry whether this property is undergoing renovations or has had sportatic renovations done. For starters, there is an indoor floor lamp out front the building that is turned on in the evening for illumination, and adjacent to it is a wood pallet. The flooring is torn up just beyond the front desk, as well as floor molding removed. My room (#112) appears recently renovated (fridge, microwave, desk - nicely apppinted and decorated). The bathroom is a different story. Dirty in corner of floor. Toilet seat was up when I arrived. Dirty tiñe floor grout, rusty spots in grout in shower. Then there's a cheap-looking carts in the corner of bathroom with tissues, ice bucket, plastic cups. It's very awkward and creepy-looking. Not what I'd expect from this brand nor for the price of $170/night.

Charging Port
Daniel C.

This motel fell short of expectations. The main issues with our stay was the housekeeping staff. There were many areas where there was significant shortfalls in the cleaning. There was a plastic spoon in plain sight right next to the microwave. There was dust on the pictures frames a ring from a cup on a table and the charging port was disgusting (see attached picture). The breakfast was decent. All in all, we were very disappointed with our stay; especially since this was a Comfort "Suites" motel.

Comfortable beds, nice soaps, spacious bathroom, cozy lobby. Free coffee. You could do a lot worse at an exit stop.

We have stayed at most Tru locations along I95 but this was our first time at this location. The reviews looked good so we booked it! We actually received our digital check in prior to arriving, the digital key actually worked, and we actually received the room we chose. Unfortunately, we arrived later in the evening so most of the decent restaurants close by were closing. We decided to set up shop in the lobby and order Uber Eats. There was a male and female working the front desk, who were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was sold out for the night and it definitely showed! The lobby was constantly full of traffic. While we sat in the lobby and ate, we also watched tv, which the staff gave us the remote to change the channel. There are multiple televisions so multiple channels can by watched. We purchased beer and wine from the market but I wish there was a better selection for the wines. There was a shift change while we were there and the next employee hustled her butt off! I wish I would have asked her name because she was working nonstop the entire time we were sitting there. She was about 5'8", slim, African American, maybe mid 30's, and working Saturday evening into Sunday morning. The room was clean, the AC worked well, the shower did not have a lot of pressure though. Breakfast was good and when I inquired about any bananas, the breakfast employee went and grabbed me some from the back. I wanted to tip but didn't have any cash and she said don't worry about it. The staff were good at this Tru! Oh and when we were at breakfast, we noticed a sign stating no alcohol sales on Sunday in the market so good to know.

Check-in was very easy and gentleman was very polite. Rooms were nice and cool when we arrived. The…read morepillows and bedding were soft. Breakfast was not my favorite as I miss the waffles, they had a pancake maker, but no waffle maker and everyone was in line for it . Other than that stay was great and staff was great too.

Imagine sitting there for 4 hours while he constantly spoke or Allie spoke. We didn't mind Allie because she was kind and soft spoken. However it was a really different story when it came to Matthew, he was aggressive, rude, obnoxious, condescending, and insulting to say the least. He insulted my husband many times by insinuating he was cheap didn't care about his wife wants or needs ( that being me), when I myself wasn't in the market to purchase any more points. We made that perfectly clear as soon as we sat down at this presentation the audacity that this guy Matt had was unbelievable and especially rude. I have called the resorts corporate office to no avail! So far I have gotten zero satisfaction from my complaint! Meanwhile we have been owners of Wyndham for 21 years and this is the way they treat their owners. You should be ashamed of yourself Wyndham for not responding to an owner! Maybe after seeing this review they will take action and call me or at least email me, or respond to this review. I'll be waiting

Well on the morning of the day I was supposed to check in, I received a call from the resort basically saying that my reservation was cancelled due to overbooking and there was nothing they could do for. This was totally unexceptionable!!! This is the worst experience I have ever had with a resort!!!

My dog and I had been on a roadtrip to the Florida Everglades and heading back to New Hampshire. In…read morethe first leg of the journey home I made it as far as Santee South Caroline. It was frigid out and the forecast was for lows in the teens so I decided it would be better to get a room for me and TBone for the night. Using the Priceline website, I found a pet friendly hotel for the best value (cheapest) $42. The Quality Inn and Suites in Santee. I booked through Priceline and the problems started as soon as I arrived. Right off the bat, an additional $5 servicing fee (they could not explain what that was) but ok. Then they wanted an additional $25 dollars for the dog (non refundable). As the price was now at $68, and a $100 security deposit that was not mentioned on the Priceline app nor the webpage. I decided TBone and I could stick it out in the RV. I would just keep it running intermittently throughout the night. When I tried to cancel the booking through Priceline, I could not be refunded so I had to stay and TBone could stay in the RV. I gave the hotel clerk $100 cash security deposit although not happy about it. So we stayed, however, I watched TV in the room for half an hour, took a shower, but decided I would also stay in the RV with TBone and just start it up periodically to heat. In the morning, I showered in the room and went to return key and get back my deposit. The clerk and manager (owner turns out) had to go check the room first. As I had not slept there, there should have been issues. However, they returned from the room and denied me my $100 security deposit. They explained there was blood on the pillowcase. The clerk showed me the picture and there was a blood stain but it was smaller than the area of a dime. I reached behind my neck and I did have a mosquito bite from the Everglades and I must have unconsciously scratched it. Hardly a reason to deny my refund. This is a hotel and people get scratched and bug bites. Incouldnmotncinceivenidnwhybthey would keep my $100 for a pillowcase. I believe they already knew they were gonna try to get me for something from the light before when I tried to cancel. The room was otherwise unused and spotless. I didn't sleep in the bed and it was still made, not a wrinkle. I feel like this is actually criminal on their part as they could not produce any policy on this security deposit and what it entailed. Do yourself a favor...do not check into the Quality Inn and Suites I. They will try to pull one over I. You or Rob you. If I can attach a picture of the stain I will. Absolutely scandalous
