Thomas was friendly and knew his rvs. He helped me get the payments where I needed them. I love my new rv and can't wait to take it out.

After speaking to Terry on the phone and sending photos of some paint work our coach would need, he gave a rough ballpark price and told us to bring it in and he would look at it in person. We took it in and they made the time for us. Great. Off to a good start. We appreciated that and there was not going to be a charge for the estimate. Bonus. Others had wanted hundreds of dollars just for an estimate. We live an hour away so...$75 maybe round trip in fuel. He looked at the RV....started implying it was going to be much more than the ballpark estimate. This is where I started to get jumpy. Nevertheless, he said he would email us an estimate in the afternoon of the following day. I decided just to sit back and wait. Short story: he didn't send an estimate. I waited a couple of days and followed up with a phone call. Waited a couple more days followed up with another phone call. Left several messages on voicemail. It's now been maybe 3 to 4 weeks. Never heard from the guy. What a jerk. At this point feel like we dodged a bullet. What a waste of time and a waste of gas. Hours I can't get back. Go find somebody who gives a flip. This place obviously didn't want our business.

We live in California and I sensed that Outback RV TX would be the best to deal with, based on instinct, professional website etc., felt that this would be the right direction to make this purchase. One of the rare and great things in life is when you are both surprised and expectations are exceeded, and buying our TAXA Tigermoth from Outback RV TX absolutely personified this. A fabulous, family owned, high integrity business, with traditional values, where you are valued as a customer, it's a true privilege working with the Outback RV TX team. Craig, Tiffanie, Robert and Greg and the respective service they provide is truly unsurpassed. We drove over 3,000k miles round trip to go to Outback RV to pick up our TAXA and would do it again in a heart beat. If you are looking for any Outback/adventure trailer, then you should look no further than Outback RV TX, they are simply brilliant and deserve the very best success, they really are that good. While we were inside the trailer, a forklift driver began honking repeatedly. When we came outside, he was yelling at me about where my car was parked, even though there were no clear signs or barriers indicating I couldn't park there. I spoke with management about the situation. They were polite, but no meaningful action appeared to be taken. After that, the same employee continued watching us closely and following us around the lot, which made us uncomfortable. The situation escalated further when he approached me again, yelling and acting in an aggressive and confrontational manner. Based on his behavior and the way he approached me, I felt like he was attempting to provoke a physical altercation. At that point, there was no management present to step in or de-escalate the situation. As a potential customer prepared to make a major purchase, this was unacceptable and caused me to leave and decide not to do business here. I will say the parts department was excellent--Preston was professional and helpful from the first call through pickup. Unfortunately, the overall experience with other staff and lack of management response overshadowed that. UPDATE: After posting my original review about my experience here, I noticed a sudden surge of five-star reviews that do not reflect what I personally experienced. I encourage anyone considering doing business here to read through the reviews carefully and look for detailed, specific customer experiences versus short or vague praise. My experience was serious enough that I felt unsafe -- an employee escalated the situation to the point where it nearly became physical, which is completely unacceptable in any business setting. I'm leaving this update so potential customers can make an informed decision and not rely solely on star ratings.

Of course that for 30 years or something. I'll be paying on this until I die. Then 8 months later I wanted to trade it in for a bigger one and they'd only offer me $5000 trade in for it! And that's only if I upped my total to $30,000! If I wanted to spend 30 grand I'd just buy a small house! We waited at the place for EIGHT solid hours after having an appointment at 1pm we didn't actually leave until 8 pm to purchase the RV. During that 8 hours they were supposed to install a 7 pin wiring harness and braking system on my car, which they then said they couldn't do because there was "something wrong with my cars wiring", although there wasn't. They tried to charge me $500 more to "fix" it. They never installed the braking system which CAME with the purchase of my RV. I had my neighbor get the 7 pin working for $100. But still can't get the braking device installed by Camping World (which was included with my highly inflated purchase) because I keep getting the run around. AND there was sewage in the black tank when I received it although there's a huge sticker on the toilet saying "every" unit is emptied and sanitized before being sold... riiiight. There's a missing shade on one window, the screen in the emergency exit window doesn't fit, it's not even the right size, many of the interior lights don't work, they flicker and go out. The door doesn't latch right, I have to use a screwdriver sometimes to close it. Beware. Check EVERYTHING and be especially leery of last minute "problems" that cost additional.

After five years as a rental I was expecting signs of normal wear and tear but what I found was much worse. In addition to the normal wear and tear, the subfloor was obviously and completely destroyed. But even worse, the entire skylight unit is missing. This was a gorgeous skylight with an insect screen as well as day and night shades. All gone; and in its place there's a piece of plastic. I'm dumbfounded and heartbroken. We never should have trusted them with such an expensive piece of equipment. Response to Quest's comment: yes, our RV was three years old when we put it into your fleet...and it had *less than 6,000 miles* on it. It was never stored out in the weather by us, and the skylight was clearly fine when our vehicle entered your fleet. Why, while in your care, was the skylight allowed to dry rot and crack from weather exposure to the point that it couldn't be repaired, and/or further damage prevented? And the floor...I'm guessing that wasn't noticed until our warranty ran out? Damage that severe, unnoticed for so long? If it was, indeed, the manufacturer's fault for not putting enough supports under the subfloor, it should have been apparent much sooner. But it takes a lot of time and effort to have warranty repairs made, right? Something you promised you'd take care of. Lastly, Mark did not decline the replacement and opt for the "repair" that was completed. It was never addressed, and he noticed the skylight was gone only when he was halfway home between Dallas and Colorado (his very costly mistake). Our loss, your gain. The point of my review is only to provide our experience so people can decide for themselves whether they want to entrust their very expensive, valuable RV equipment into your care.
