I 35 RV Superstore DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I read all the bad reviews and still was foolish enough to try and buy a motorhome from I 35 RV Superstore. They had the coach I wanted, and I convinced myself they were ok to work with. That was true, until it wasn't. After negotiating for about a week on the coach, we came to terms via email and text. The dealer knew I was a serious buyer as I had a family member look at the rig for me and I already had my financing in place. Once we settled on the price, I made the ~300-mile one way drive to see the coach firsthand and get the paperwork started. We had agreed on the price on a Saturday, and I told them I would be there on Monday morning. It should be noted that they did not ask for a deposit or any sort of signed offer. They did have the coach showing as "Sale Pending" and I was told that was for my benefit. Monday morning comes and I text the salesperson to tell her I will be there around 9:30 am. She then calls me to tell me that someone else came in Saturday and offered a higher price and they accepted the offer. No one had the courtesy to call me on Saturday to tell me this. Even the call on Monday sounded suspicious, like it was a ploy to get me to up my offer. I have no proof, but it felt like sellers' remorse. What they did may not be illegal, but it sure is unethical. There is no doubt that they only want a customer one time. How they can stay in business using these types of tactics is beyond me. In retrospect, they probably did me a favor. BTW...About 2 weeks later, I see the coach is back up for sell at the dealership. Again....DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! read more

Let the buyer beware. There were four issues with the motorhome at the time we purchased. We brought these up to them and all four were glossed over through their internal "inspection." They said they "fixed" them. Within six months, we ended up having to replace the aqua hot $12,000, the bed lift motor $2500, the step cover repair $400 and front air conditioner $400 (so far.). The $8,000 we paid for the three year warranty has already paid for itself ($200 deductible each time.). I'm sure the warranty company is none too happy with the dealer for saddling them with these expenses. The warranty company KNEW we hadn't had it long enough to break the systems, or to not maintain them properly! Now. For the purchase experience. We had decided in September 2021 we were going in the motorhome direction. So we took a weekend trip to Dallas to look. They had just gotten in our coach. It wasn't really what we thought we wanted, but we looked at it anyway. The salesman, Jim, was great about teaching us the ins and outs of motorhomes. We were able to really narrow down what we wanted after that visit. Jim is the reason this review has two stars instead. We made an offer on the coach. Jim said he could work with it since we were trading our fifth wheel. Conversation went on for a few days, and then they ghosted us. For almost two weeks, texts, vm's and emails went unanswered. We saw a sale pending on the ad, so we figured they got a better offer, and dumped us. We weren't terribly happy at this point, and realized what a shady business this was. If you had another buyer, you should have said so, and we would have moved on. We went back to the drawing board, but a few lessons learned. We found a few, but nothing really hit home. We kept an eye on I35 and noticed a sale was no longer pending, so we made them an offer again. This time we did not sit back and let them ignore us. We blew up their phones and vm. Even involved the owner. We made sure to make a deposit and made them commit to not trying to sell it out from under us again. Next, the financing piece. we have excellent credit and are very well qualified buyers. I understand that dealers make money on financing and I'm ok with that. However, I did not expect that the finance person would try to gouge us. Holy crap! I work for a bank. I know what our rate should be... ball park. First offer was at least a three point spread from what their favored credit union was charging to what the finance person offered us. I turned it down. Next she went through the bank I work for. That time we got a one point spread. I was ok with that. Again in finance, the warranty didn't get paid for by I35 right away, so when we started having issues (see above) the warranty company didn't know who we were. After a bit of back and forth, we figured out what was the problem and got the finance person to pay for the warranty. Also, they didn't send in our registration right away, so we were driving with expired paper tags for a few weeks. I cannot really blame our salesman, Jim, for what we went through. I don't think he has a whole lot of control over what goes on with the owner, finance manager and shop. He's just a good ole sales guy. Again, he's the reason this review did not get zero stars. He took his time to explain things to us, and admitted when he didn't know certain things about the coach. He got us the answers we needed to make our decisions. Our takeaway in dealing with this place: 1. Work with Jim if you have that opportunity. 2. Make sure when you make the offer to make a deposit and confirm they are not going to continue to try to sell the RV you want. 3. Hire an inspector well versed in the RV you want to purchase. Do not take I35's word for anything! 4. BUY THE WARRANTY. Even your inspector is going to miss things. It may seem costly to begin with, but it saved us almost $15,000 in the first few months. And, make sure to confirm that they are going to pay for it right away. 5. Know where you stand from a financing standpoint, so you don't get gouged in finance. 6. Confirm when the titling will be sent to your county. I took awhile to write this review, because we were initially so shocked at the way it was handled... especially when things started breaking down. But, It all worked out and we do love our motorhome. We came away from this experience feeling a little slimed... I35 gives used car dealers a bad name. read more

I purchased a 2012 Newmar Essex and while the weather was great I ran into a rain storm and found the wipers didn't even work. Luckily I was able to get the coach off the road safely. I'm glad there wasn't any bystanders and nobody was injured. It is unimaginable that a responsible dealer would risk the life of a customer or any innocent children by putting this coach on the road. I purchased an rv from them. It could not be registered because they did not do the inspection as promised. I live 5 hours away so I could not take it back to have it done but instead handle it myself. More importantly, the water heater has never worked. I had to take in to get repaired and pay the deductible to have it fixed. Now the engine has to be repaired and multiple other issues. They should have paid the deductible for the repairs since it did not work when I purchased it but I was ghosted. Lastly, I still do not have plates for the vehicle and they expired in September. They are extremely disorganized. I could not have the vehicle inspected because it has been in the shop almost since I purchased it! I would shop somewhere else to be honest. I never saw this rv in person before I purchased, so I trusted them to inspect it. They did, but missed a few things. So, I took delivery and realized that a few items didn't work. But, not their fault, it was missed during their pre delivery inspection. Anyway, the company owner contacted me, apologized, and asked me to get an estimate for the repair. A friend asked the service center guy, a neighbor, if an advertised RV online was a good deal....they kept him talking long enough to call the seller and buy the RV out from under a neighbor because it was a good deal. Today,they have it for sale at $25,000 over the original price. They stole the deal while they kept him busy acting like they were researching it for him. This is dirty business! I'll never shop a place that underhandedly cuts a deal behind a friend's back who only wanted a good deal for his family. Upon inspection the unit has had a cat living in it and all the negative scratches and smells. Sales team tried to camouflage with AC on high and scented packs around the unit. Do not buy here Warning. Salesman wouldn't get off his seat to show us anything. And after spending 32k on a 2004 demon intruder I bought. I immediately had to have engine repair costing me 5k to replace heads n tune up etc. Then the fridge wouldn't work . And I haven't had a chance to take on a trip. Just bought it. Do not buy as is unless they show that everything is working. They showed us how to turn on fridge. The button lights came on giving the impression it works. Do not buy from this place . Salesman Craig said " oh u wouldn't recognize it. That they have cleaned it it. Blah blah blah. Flat out lie. Carpet stained filthy, cobwebs . While rig dirty when we picked up. I made them give me 250$ bk to have it cleaned. . Now check engine light is on. Take a professional inspector with u when u buy. But do not go here I Regret. U will too read more

bought a Winnebago bus from them 18 months ago. used the bus 7 times and put 5000 miles on it. was kept under a carport the 18 month. wanted to sell back to them to purchase smaller unit. they offered $70,000 less then I pad for it 18 months earlier. said the unit had water leak which I showed the owner and he agreed that it was not a water leak but the ceiling material coming loose which that was the way it was when I bought it. offered one price and signed paperwork work for title and sale. they called the next day and canceled the sell and offered $30000 less then first offered. office paperwork lady lied several times on reasons they dropped price. owner was nice but paperwork lady runs the show and don't trust her as far as I could throw her. She said the unit was worth 50000 than we paid for it due to condition of the coach. either they ripped off when I bought it or they trying to rip me off on buying it back. Either way shame on them. This place is the used car lot of RV dealers in the Dallas area. While you are looking around and "kicking the tires" on the lot they will be your best friend, so helpful in showing all the coaches on the lot, explaining their great service department and all the services and checks they do on the vehicles and trailers, my salesman even called to follow up about about my thoughts and questions. They talk a great game...until you hand them the check. They will say anything to make the sell but once they got your money, they will forget your name and act like they didn't even sell a rig to you. They cut corners on servicing the vehicles, outright lie to your face and give you bogus paperwork about their "quality inspection", (and this is a biggy) they sell faulty and unsafe coaches and the worst part is they WILL NOT take any responsibility for anything once the sale is final. Son make damn sure you know what you are looking at and be prepared to do your own in-depth inspection, don't forget to check on the 6 year old tires they slap on their trade ins. The owner is a straight up lying conman. He will say what ever you want to hear over the phone but after no action for a week or two, you call them back and he acts like he never heard of your or the $35k you just paid him. He can't even recall selling any Montana 5th wheels. I called the service department one day and asked to speak to the service manager, I asked him questions about A rig and if I should come in and get those items fixed...he was animate that those things needed to be fixed right away and it would be unsafe to take that vehicle out on the road, when I then asked him why in the world would you sell an RV with those issues he hung up on me! My 5th wheel had a catastrophic blow out right after leaving their ponzy-scheme of a dealership. My very first call was to my salesman at I-35 RV and (I swear to God) his response was, "Well that just sucks!" That blow out cost me more than $4000, just get my "so lightly used it's just like new" 5er back to a safe and dependable condition. I gave them over 9 months to make this right. Every call to them required me to reexplain my situation, tell them the whole tragic story and remind them of their previous conversations and agreements. They said they would send me emails (which I never got), the owner agreed to cover my insurance deductible (which he never did) and the only thing I ever got from them after the sell was a massive phone tag run around! If I had to do it all over I would have drove right past this place and purchased my 5th wheel ANYWHERE else!!! read more

Unprofessional business. Would not trust or waste time looking at an rv here. Spent 3 days viewing RVs, test driving and negotiating price with a trade. Was on a time crunch and waited 2 days for a finance approval that was $40k different (obviously higher) than the agreed prices of my trade and the purchase price of the new rv!!!!! What a waste of time. They tried to blame the bank, but this has nothing to do with the bank and was all due to a misrepresentation of the deal to me!!!! We discussed and agreed on the numbers and they sent a different set of numbers to the bank for approval. So after all that the "revised" deal was bank approved and I walked because they put in $40k less for my trade instead of being honest up front!!!! read more

Don't believe anything that Craig tells you about a rig because he is first and foremost the salesman and doesn't know or care about the quality of the rig as long as he can sell it and get his pay. We bought a monaco the end of january that he said was good and it has now been in the shop for 2 months and so far has cost us an additional $6000 for repairs and we don't seem to be done yet! Take a repair person with you to look at the rig so you don't get ripped off like we have been AND have that person check it out again Before you pay for it to make sure that any repairs they said that they would make were actually done. Be prepared to walk away from the deal at any stage of it if you feel uncomfortable about it. We still haven't been able to go rv'ing and ours is still in the shop! read more

My husband and I stopped to look at RV's. We are buying one and really don't know what we want. Mike went in to the office, a man said "can I help you?" Mike said "yes, we want to look at RV's" the man said "someone will help you". He then walked off back into the office. Mike waited 10-15 minutes. No one came out. We left. After planning on heading out for a weekend camping trip we found that the deep cycle battery wasn't charging as it should and had no clue what was wrong. The big chain RV service shop up the street couldn't fit us in on the same day and after calling around to several RV service shops found that no one else could fit us in either. One of the shops said that several of their mechanics just went to I-35 RV and suggested I give them a call. I'm so glad I did! I spoke with Craig and after explaining our issue (as best as I could) over the phone and that we were hoping to be on the road the same day, he said come on over. 2 hours later, the bad fuses were replaced and a new solenoid found and installed. The site isn't great to look at but the service is top notch. We have some follow-up work to be done and I'll be taking the RV back to them. They are also a bit more reasonable on the hourly rates. $95/hr compared to $120 at the larger chain RV places. read more
