I damaged the rear quarter panel on my RV. While very busy, American did take my RV by appointment. (not the same day I showed up, but they got me into the process immediately) They finished the work in four days (dropped it off Monday morning, was picking it up Friday morning). The work was excellent, truly remarkable, beautifully matched. During the entire process, the business treated me in a professional manner. Questions I had were answered promptly. I came in with a generator that stopped running and an intermittent operating slide. Didn't have time to fix them but I felt pretty confident I diagnosed the problems as a bad voltage regulator on gen and bad control board on the slide. When I went to pick it up they told me they thought I had a bad voltage regulator (which they wouldn't fix) and they tested the slide and said it's fine. $358 later I'm back to where I started. What a waste of time and money. read more

Finally. After working with several other RV repair places, with disastrous results, I am so thrilled to finally find a repair facility that does what they say they will do, for the price they quote, and in the time frame promised. We have a 2005 Beaver Marquis and had two weeks worth of repairs saved up. Since we live in the motorhome, it was very important for us to have the repairs done correctly, but also in the time promised. Voilà. This is a family run business that does things right. They have hired the right people to do the jobs needed. Everybody was accessible, friendly and knowledgeable. I will never take my motorhome somewhere else. Make your first phone call here. I am 67 years old and cannot remember a company that has provided better customer service than American RV. We only had a few days left before leaving for Zion Park, where the temperatures are currently 100+, when the air conditioning on our new travel trailer went out. Dave went more than the extra mile and far past above and beyond in helping us get it replaced. We leave tomorrow and I am now sitting in air conditioned comfort as I write this. We had our trailer packed and ready to go when we found out our camper lights were not working. We looked in the old fashioned phone book and found this place We called and explained the situation and the man on the phone told us to come by in two hours. There schedule was full, but squeezed us in. They told us they could either fix our old plug or replace it with a new one. They did not try to pressure us to buy the new one, but told us the old one would eventually need to be replaced as it was wearing out. We did have it replaced to save us trouble in the future. This was our first time here and we are very impressed and would come again in the future as they seem quite honest. read more

It's a small rental place but we have been renting here a couple of times now and it's really efficient. We make a reservation online and come in to fill in all the other paper work. The old guy here isn't a very nice gentlemen. He's strictly business which is ok. I respect that. But he fails to tell you about things like adding in a second driver and whatnot. But you get in and out and I can't complain about that. Very straight forward. The other employee, Miguel I think, is super down to earth and nice. He helps in getting the truck to us and showing us the damages already on the truck before we head on out and he goes over every detail and any questions we might have about the truck and regulations. Definitely appreciate him there. We will definitely be renting from them more often! read more

We brough our Class C coach in for a routine followup on the roof being sealed and to have an awning installed, and we ended up asking Dave and Miguel and their crew to check some other things, which ended up leading to other things, and so on. They were great about doing the work to make sure everything was taken care of and patient in explaining the reasoning behind everything they did, all during a very busy season for them. I cant say enough good things about this Place. This facility is Top notch and his guys are courteous and knowledgeable. I am very Particular about my Revolution Diesel Pusher.... I took my Ragn' Toy Hauler into American RV to check the brakes, pack wheel bearings, check the refrigerator while on propane gas, and get an exterior wash. Also I purchased 3 scissor jacks and installed them myself. When I picked up the trailer, I almost had a heart attack. The bill was over $1,400! This included $135 for the scissor jacks and $95 for the wash. They charged me 4.0 hours to check the brakes and pack the bearings, plus an additional 2.5 hours to install new magnets in the brakes. Then they charged one full hour to run the refrigerator on propane and then tell me it works fine. Unfortunately, it doesn't. They also charged 0.5 hours to test my batteries and charging system which I had never asked for. All of this at their rate of $120/hour. That's more than some attorneys! As you might guess, I won't be going back to these guys any time soon. read more

I needed some help setting up my awning (total owner-error), and these guys walked me through set-up and helped me find the $1.20 screw that I needed to make the awning stay up! We have been taking our RV's to them for over 30 years. ( They used to be located in Cypress.) We have always been impressed with their work and with their honesty. Our latest repair was on the arm for the awning that needed to be fixed after we ran into a tree. It could have been an expensive repair, but they found a used part, and it looks great. We highly recommend them and feel it is worth the 15 mile drive to their shop. We won't go anywhere else. read more

My Microwaves stopped working in my motor home. I requested via email an appointment. David Miner suggested I check a couple of things first, to be sure it is not just the Microwave. I checked those items out, but the Microwave did not work. So, I called up and spoke to a gentleman, who advised me to try one more thing. I did it, and the Microwave worked !
