This place is a joke of a car dealership. Honestly should be shut down for how shady they are. We went and got a Kia sorento from them, only 80K miles and traded in my really nice Kia forte for it. A month later the car breaks down and needs a brand new engine. Apparently they did some shady stuff and swapped the engine out for a different one on the sorento to try to hide the problem long enough to sell the vehicle. You will be glad you did. 2 weeks after buying our truck we had to put in a new transfer case and fuel injectors to the tune of $7000. Our salesman told us tough deal with it. This place is a waste of time. My daughter's car purchase was a nightmare. The sold her a car with a bad engine. They said they fixed it with a sensor. And to drive it 300 miles to reset. After they put a battery in it it also failed. When they relaced it the didn't even do that right according to our mechanic. Next the engine failed car was a total loss. Jeremy texted me when he found out I was returning my car for a voluntary repossession. My response: I put $500 down, then had to come up with another $500 to get into the car. When sold the car you had taken $500 off the price. Thank you for that. Gary pulled the car fax off a car that had spotless services throughout its life. I was thrilled that I had decided to get a more expensive car than I told myself I would. Then it all began. The radiator blew within 2 days of bringing home, this is also the same time I figured out the paperwork had the wrong vin number. You had the radiator "repaired" in house. Gary redid the paperwork for the actual vin number. Ironically, Car fax was down (it was every time I asked for it for this car). Gary also redid the paperwork at full price and denied you lowered it. But to make things right he was throwing in a warranty for as long as I owned the car as well as one for 6 months so if anything happened I would be fine. Finance company sent me the bill a week after it was due and then I owed the previous month as well so with my first billing statement I was 2 months behind and had fees. Well. Everything wasn't fine with the car, while driving the upper arm assembly broke. Fun? Nope. You had me tow to Duval, which was perfect because he immediately saw the radiator hadn't been replaced, the lines hadn't been replaced, and it was still cross screwed into the radiator. Also found out the car had been in a front end collision which was never disclosed to me. And Gary denied such warranties. Over $2000 in repairs were needed. You really think I want to keep up this charade? in conclusion, if you like it without lube then this is the place for you. read more

Unfortunately my good experiences at Best Value Automotive were outweighed by the bad. First, I called the dealership for details on a truck I was interested in buying. They were supposed to call me back but then never did until a week later when the truck was already sold. The owner said I was approved for another truck and we scheduled a date to look at it, meanwhile he would hold it so that it didn't get sold to anyone else. Of no surprise, the truck was sold over the weekend. The owner apologized yet again but said he had a better truck for me and would give me a good deal on it. I purchased the truck and noticed a weird sound it was making. I made an appointment to get it checked out with Ford. Ford informed me that their was an exhaust leak and that I should contact the dealership I got it from (the dealership didn't give me a car fax or any paperwork upon purchase and no details about the problem the truck had). Upon contacting Alvaro, the owner of the dealership he said he would take care of it and have the truck fixed. I dropped it off and they kept the truck for a week. They didn't fix the truck and said they needed to order a part. It's now been almost a month and I am unable to contact Alvaro. The dealership keeps saying he isn't in the office. They sold it to us with a cracked intake manifold and we didn't know until it's first oil change. (They had just changed the oil the very day we bought it) We were told by Alvaro that if we had written proof that the crack had been there before purchase, then best value would make things right. This place is a joke! I was approached by leo, a guy who works there. I found a truck that I liked and he was only to happy to let me test drive it. When I returned to the lot, I mentioned a few things that were of question like a missing tailgate cable and a fog light. Also the wheel wells needed to be trimmed because of the big tires. I asked him if these things were taken care of, it would be a deal. This guy looked me in the eye and said he would make sure these things got taken care of and we shook hands on the deal. I was also told by Steven, the one that dealt with the finances of the deal and he also assured that these things would be taken care of. I talked face to face with the owner, Alvaro, and HE assured me of the same. Throughout the last couple of months, I have contacted all three of these guys on numerous occasions just to be told things are on back order and they will look into it. When I spoke to Al he said he will look into it and call me the next day. . . Three weeks later, still waiting for that phone call Al. Bottom line- This place is the most UNPROFESSIONAL "professionals" I have come across in years. They will look you in the eye, give you the biggest smile in the world and LIE right to your face. I know it is an 'as is' deal. If that is the case the guy should have just said that, and I would have said ok, but again he said he would take care of the items and when I texted him, for the last time, asking if there is any new on the items. He replied, "Are you kidding me?!?! I took that to be quite HOSTILE. Business Ethics and Business Morals sure have gone downhill. What a shame. Just a warning to people out there. Really really bummed and didn't necessarily want to make this review. They are friendly and nice to have conversation with. Really fell in love with a vehicle they had on the lot. Got my appraisal for my trade in and everything seemed to be going well. They said I would hear back two days later on Monday from the lender if I was approved or not. They needed to send out my credit application to lenders. I hadn't heard back from them at all until I reached out, feeling like I'm bothering them but having NO CLUE what's going on. He just tells me that they declined and he's gonna send to other places. I had to call to get this update as they wouldn't call me and keep me updated. It's now almost been two weeks. I've called and text multiple times to no reply. My credit was ran which fucking absolutely sucks and they're flaky. Wouldn't waste your time if I were you. They've wasted plenty of mine. read more

Knowing I make decent money and can very well afford it I wouldn't have been a huge problem getting into it. Everyday for a whole week and weekend I tried contacting a guy by the name of Steve Steffens and every day was a new reason why he was unavailable to speak with or why my application has not been processed... So I bought a vehicle from this lot under the impression that the vehicle I was buying had a rebuilt engine in it. I had the statement that I would be given the paperwork signifying that the engine inside the vehicle I was buying was in fact rebuilt. It took me a month and a half of me calling almost every day for them to finally provide me with a receipt of the engine they purchased and had installed in the vehicle prior to me buying it off their lot. The same exact day I drove the vehicle off the lot by the time I got home the check engine light was on. I had it scanned and it turned out to be an evap code. My sales rep Jeremy offered to have it taken care of by a shop they use. I received my vehicle back a little over a week later and again by the time I got my vehicle home the check engine light was back on. So it went back for round two. Another week goes by and I receive my vehicle, this time the check engine light came back on two days later for the same code. It went back a third time and I received my car back another week later. If you guessed that the light came back on the next day you would be correct. LOL I Told them I would personally take care of it because I had my vehicle in their shop pretty much for the first month of me owning it and the problem still wasn't fixed. Then when I received my car back I started having my airbag lights come on. Come to find out that this vehicle has an airbag recall. I understand that the dealership will take care of this free of charge and that is the route that I am going to take. Then I noticed my vehicle leaking pretty heavily. I had it checked out and confirmed it was coming from around the oil pan. But because there was so much oil it looked like it was kind of coming from everywhere. I parked my vehicle for one week because of availability in a different shop and by the time I had my vehicle towed to this shop to have them diagnose it all of the oil inside my engine was completely emptied. They did confirm that it was a rebuilt engine the lot installed inside my vehicle but said that the install done was completely unprofessional. I had not only an oil pan gasket blow but also my rear main blow. Also I have them look at the evap problem and instead of correctly removing/repairing or installing a new exhaust the lot had cut the exhaust and did a horrible weld job to try and fix leaks and left holes everywhere so exhaust is spraying everywhere.I have explored all my possible opportunities to stay in communication with this lot to receive some sort of assistance but they have denied any help I've asked for. So I am paying almost $1800 to get these fixed myself. Please take careful consideration when looking at this lot. read more

This place sucks! We were buying a vehicle, things going great! Hey ya it's Saturday evening go ahead take it home tonight come back Monday to sign paperwork well life happened and either their loan specialist wasn't around to sign or we didn't make it into their business in time during regular long story short, terms on the loan had changed in the few days it took us to get into sign the loan paperwork and they wouldn't honor their original terms. We walked home that day with our 3 yr old daughter! With the exception of the awesome salesman Jeremy, I would never go there or send anyone there to buy a vehicle. First they sold me a truck with less than 3mm on the rear brakes, second had the tires replaced and I had a defective tire blow out on me on my way home, next the truck wouldn't start after 2 days of having it and finding out from 2 certified mechanics that it had cracked heads, low compression and major leaks in the radiator the owner kept blowing me off to come get it to fix it. I finally got the truck 2 1/2 hours back up to the dealer myself their so called certified mechanic told them the engine was fine and the owner Alvaro tried to tell me my cost was going to be half of the fix cost at $749 to get the $400 breaks done and a 20 radiator hose. When I told them I wasn't going to pay for things that were needed to be done before selling it legally he told me he'd only give me $15,000 back out if the $19,000 I paid for it. All of this and the loaner car they first gave me had no turn signals, break lights, very dim headlights and warn out wind shield wipers knowing I had to drive 2 1/2 hours back home. NEVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. I WOULDN'T ASK THE OWNER FOR A BICYCLE LET ALONE A TRUCK. read more

Best value automotive is listing a 2005 toyota tacoma prerunner with a V6 manual with a perfect transmission and in "perfect condition". After feeling the clutch and transmission through driving it around I brought it to Stadium Auto Repair in Eugene to have it checked out. The slave cylinder (what protects the clutch) is bad, the clutch is out and the drive train is needing replacement. Along with needing new spark plugs, a battery, new fluids, new oil filter, and many surface problems to the vehicle. There is $3000 of work to be done on the vehicle. These people are blatantly lying to you saying the vehicle is OK. I spent $85 and have proof that the vehicle is a piece of crap. Do not buy from these people. BUYER BEWARE!! Do not buy a vehicle from here!! This business does zero safety inspections prior to selling cars. After purchase, we found $4000+ in needed repairs. Of course the car lot would not take the vehicle back. The owner Alboro offered to pay 50% of repairs, but after having our truck for a month and 3 mechanics later, nothing was fixed. They have a sign in their lobby that says they honor veterans, but customer service was not a priority, even though my husband and I were both veterans. No return calls to us ever. Only got to talk to Alboro if he happened to answer the phone or if I got stern with whoever answered the phone. I think our skin was a little too light in color for them to care about us. Or maybe everyone who goes there takes it in the rear, regardless of color. At any rate, he's laughing all the way to the bank, and cares nothing about a reputation.
