We purchased a complete HVAC unit, less than two years ago, from Best Services. Initially, we met with Bill, the owner, at our home for an estimate. We'd already had estimates. We weren't looking for the cheapest price, we were looking for the quality and experience. Bill comes off as an experienced a/c guy. However, he had to answer multiple phone calls from his service techs, who needed help. This should have been a red flag to us, but we booked the installation appointment. It took them several days and phone calls to other techs who came over, shook their heads and blamed issues on other employees, until we finally got a working central a/c unit. More red flags. For almost two years, we enjoyed lower power bills and kicked ourselves for not doing it sooner. Then, it just stopped working. We called Best Services, paid for a service call and for weeks we had multiple visits or waited for service appointments, with nobody showing up or another excuse. Many techs came over and couldn't figure out the wiring, although, they were the ones who wired it. It shouldn't be that complicated to a trained professional. Finally, they "hot wired" it so that it ran 24/7. This made our eyes hurt from the constant wind, etc. We wondered about the safety of doing that, as well. After waiting and waiting, nobody showing up, we called another company. He worked on it until he was finished, that evening. We paid for his service call and we were happy for a resolution. Bill would have a much better company, if he hired trained professionals or took the time to train them. When we finally got through to Bill, he said he didn't know there was a problem. That's on him. We were DONE by then. We'd spoken to at least two phone people, made several service appointments and been very patient. Comments like "once we finish with our commercial job, we'll have more time for this," isn't what you want to hear, either. If he wants to call his company Best Services, he should live up to his name. read more

Best Services: is the Best of the Best...no pun intended!!! My tenant called in, complaining that the a/c was not cooling, & ducts were leaking...when in fact he was turning the thermostat up & down & on & off!! Best Services went to my home. They installed a new filter that my tenant said he had replaced a couple months prior. (which I found that was a lie too!) Best Service did a maintenance check & EVERYTHING checked out great!! Imagine that! They could've told me I had hundreds of dollars worth of damage to my ductwork, but they were honest & said everything checked out great! A dishonest tenant & an honest company!!! How refreshing...can't beat BEST SERVICES!!! My tenant texted this morning thanking me for getting the a/c fixed, when nothing needed fixing! Thank you so much Best Services!!! I had my whole system replace by best services in 2013. They did a great job and I have had no problems until today. The line was freezing up so I called and was first told they would have someone out today but they then called back and said they didn't have anyone today. They also said they couldn't find any info on me as ever using their service. My concern is the best services sticker on my A/C says 24 hour service. That is not true. They do not have anyone that can come out until tomorrow. Oh well it's going to be a hot night in Florida. Update on this review. I had Dave come out to repair the A/C. He was very polite and knowledgeable and explained the repair. The part was covered under warranty but the labor was not. read more

So impressed in fact that, when my old unit began to fail, I used them to replace my entire air conditioning system and duct work about five years ago. The technicians they send to my home are always prompt, polite and knowledgeable. Great service! Very honest and dependable. They came to my condo and checked out my air conditioner, which was fairly new. I had been told it was not working by my pest control company. Best Services told me my air conditioner was working after all, just somehow had been shut off. Service man checked it and said it was cooling fine. Very happy with them.
