Cute bar! Definitely a good place for a photo op. Came here on a Saturday around 9-10pm, bar was full along with all of the tables. Music is a good vibe as it makes you feel like you're at a lounge. The matcha martini and mezcal margarita were a hit! Strong and good! But be careful on ordering doubles. My fiancé ordered a double bourbon on the rocks not knowing it would cost us $56 for one and he ordered two rounds. They also charged his drinks extra for "on the rocks". So for two dbls, it was $112. Quite pricey compared to other bars. Also, I didn't know the bartenders chose their own tips. I closed out and signed not knowing they had already chosen 30% for tip which I added an extra 20% on top. Pretty conniving for bad service since the majority of the time all 5 bartenders stayed at the back on the bar where the bar back was. In town and dropped into this place yesterday (Wednesday). It is in walking distance from where I am staying which helps because they only have valet parking. Inside is nice...they also have outdoor seating. I feel more outside. The cocktails were good. Now I am not from here but I thought their happy hour deals were great. You can get a full bottle of wine and half a charcuterie board for 30 dollars. Definitely worth it. The pickle charcuterie was delicious. Staff were friendly. I want to really like this place however, I am on the fence. First let me start by saying I am not a person who complains typically, especially if I have been slighted. I'll take the L and keep it moving but I feel compelled to let the people of color (AKA Black) know this may not be the spot for you. It could just be my experience but maybe not. I'll start with the good, the ambience, drinks and boards are really good. I got my money's worth in terms of the drinks. The Spanish cheese board while delicious was lacking. They don't give you much in comparison to the price. If you're paying over $60 for cheese and crackers with a description it feeds 4-6 people you would expect that. Not the case at all!!! Again it was well put together in terms of flavors but kind of a rip off for what you receive. For the drinks, I had the low hanging fruit and tried my friend's 12 hour jet lag. We agreed they were a 10 out of 10. The place is cute both inside and outside. The seating is first come first serve although we were told outside didn't require reservation or bottle service. That was a lie, after a while there were people seats outside that they were ushering away if you didn't pay for a "section". We were told the inside to reserve was over $2k. Not sure how true that was but unless you planned to stand inside you were not securing a place inside without paying for a table. Now for the bad. I was discriminated against when using the valet service. I came with a friend and we used separate cars. She's Persian (could pass for white or of ambiguous origin) and I am African American for reference. She pulled in directly ahead of me. They took her keys no problem. I on the other hand was asked to pay upfront to use the valet service (I found out later she was not asked to do so and she ended up not having to pay at all). I am all for people receiving free things however, I could see the guy who is as running valet service expression and energy change when he saw me. I am not one to boast but I drive an ultra luxury vehicle and the energy was very apparent. We were both disappointed at the difference in the way we were treated. It is what it is. For some this could be a great establishment however, I personally don't see myself or people like me returning. We ended the night at Clarkwood, which was a much better experience for me. I hope this was a one off situation but I do not plan to return. read more

I came two weekends ago to celebrate my birthday. It was a Sunday Funday event with friends and it was amazing. We all had the time of our life. Immediately, as we walked in we were greeted and treated well. The aesthetic and vibes were top tier. Music was good, it's not just edm with no words. Drinks were amazing. There were many options to choose from and our server Sebastian helped a lot with our decision making. He explained the menu front to back and geared us in the right direction in choosing the perfect drink based on our preferences. My experience was 10/10 but I know it's mainly because of the service that Sebastian helped give us. We had better luck going to the bar ourselves instead of waiting for a waiter. Also look at your receipts they charge for the weirdest things. I was charged $3 for Fat Ice and extra dollar (on top of my over priced gin and tonic) for Tonic water. I for sure will not be returning to this want to be club.
