After reading a couple reviews I had relatively high expectations for this place. I remember…read morereading things like, "they won't take advantage of you", "they are reasonable", "will work with you". I went here with some electronics that I had received as gifts but never used before so I thought let's see if we can make a deal rather than have it sitting in my garage collecting dust. I walk into the shop and notice they have a police officer on duty, though he is more focused on his phone than observing the store. After a couple minutes of standing there with my items a man with a goatee (who I assume is the owner of the shop, or manager) approaches me and without even greeting me just looks at my stuff and says, "I'm interested in these two, but not this." then takes the boxes to the counter and he walks to his computer in the backroom. Ok, so I follow him and wait for him to come back out of the backroom while he's googling my items in order to make a proposal. He comes out from the back and says,"I'll offer you $10 for those. I have a bunch of stuff like this and people want things cheap around here." LOL...I respond by saying, "you don't have anything like this in here, $10 really?" Where he then responds with, "People want things cheap around here." He was serious, and not open to negotiating. I pick up my stuff and walk out. The total retail price for the items I brought in were over $200. I understand the guy's motivation for wanting to make a profit, but to downright lowball me and not even consider negotiating was just insulting. I suppose I'm too idealistic to think people can be honest and fair with you in a transaction like this. It was a definite mistake and a waste of time to drive to this place rather than doing what most folks do which is sell it on eBay, Amazon, Craigslist, and Wallapop. Unless you're extremely desperate for a couple dollars, and do not have time to sell your items through the online merchandisers, and even after asking your network if they're interested in purchasing your items, and only if your life is on the line then go to this place. But I warn you, this place preys on the weak and despondent. You will be treated disrespectfully, and lowballed for sure.

The team here was incredibly helpful. Initially, I came in to buy a ring, but I changed my mind and eventually settled on a bracelet. My Client Advisor Chad was kind enough to recommend cleaning and a silver polished towel/rag. Despite my extreme indecisiveness, they remained patient and friendly. However, I must admit that the prices have tripled in the past six years for some items (no fault of this location). I understand that the price of precious metals has increased, but sheesh. All in all, I still believe that buying a gift for yourself or a loved one from Tiffany's is the best gift idea. And coming in-store to a location like this instead of purchasing online makes the experience more memorable and special.

BUYER BEWARE- cut yardage fabrics…read more Visited to purchase fabric. 90" wide (double wide) muslin. It needed to be measured. After a few minutes of waiting, (having pushed the help button) we had to find go find someone to measure/cut. It became very apparent the person we found was poorly trained as she was very neatly folding the fabric on top of itself then measured along the yardstick, she then counts how many layers she had. Just under 6 yards. EXCEPT - the fabric was double Wide so there were multiple layers folded on the bolt (extra wide fabric), she had counted EACH layer of fabric .... It was actually just under 3 yards. I tried explaining she was measuring/counting incorrectly, and got - stare of confusion--- so had to request the "request the manager." When the manager arrived, she made no eye contact, no greeting, grabbed the fabric and started measuring. While doing this, she proceeded to "explain" that "THIS is how WE measure, we use a yardstick"--- seriously? Then she mumbled "we need to work on more training". Not sure if she meant me or her poorly trained staff. Final yardage 2 yards + 35". This manager can use a refresher in customer service, as well as staff training. A simple hello could have very easily diffused a situation--- and you should absolutely NEVER assume that the customer doesn't understand what you are doing! Speaking to an adult like a schoolchild will never end well. This is REALLY not the right job for her and Michaels should seriously consider some skills training or finding someone that can actually do the job. (Manager on duty morning of 6/7/26)

I like that they have a whole yarn and embroidery section - maybe I should transition to that craft instead. The traditional big box hardware store is mikes and mikes away, and asking for help at those places has always been hit or miss. This Ace hardware store is located right in the center of town, and it is definitely a well sticked and a full service hardware store. Their prices may be a little higher but the convenience factor far outweighs the additionally cost. I was helped immediately by an awesome employee, and he directed me to the exact section that had closet brackets, and then he directed me to where the small screws were located. I was surprised to see their extensive paint section, and they even have Christmas gear already on display. I really do appreciate the personalized attention from the folks who work here.

Excellent shopping experience!

Almost Perfect - Liljenquist & Beckstead in Montgomery Mall…read more After 3+ years on Rolex waitlists at Liljenquist & Beckstead. On a random Sunday I decided to visit Liljenquist & Beckstead in Westfield Montgomery Mall with real hope. My mom has been buying jewelry from them for years and recommended the store to me back in 2020, so I knew the service would be excellent. I left impressed by the team and even more motivated to keep working toward my dream watch. I've been grinding for over 12 years. My partners and I recently launched our own business, and it has exceeded every expectation. This success has me ready to invest in a meaningful piece the Rolex GMT-Master II "Bruce Wayne" something I can wear every day as a reminder of the grind and eventually pass down to my kids as a family heirloom. Jeff Kaufmann was fantastic. He was super nice, took his time with zero pressure, and thoroughly explained every detail of the Bruce Wayne, including exactly how to set and use the three time zones on the GMT function. His patience and knowledge made me feel like a valued client rather than just another name on the list. The whole team at the Montgomery Mall location was professional and genuinely passionate about watches. This visit alone earns a strong 4 stars. I'm holding the 5th star in reserve for the day I get that lucky call when my Bruce Wayne becomes available. If you're a serious collector who's been waiting, I highly recommend stopping in and asking for Jeff you'll be in good hands, just like my mom has been for years. Thank you Jeff Kaufmann and the entire Liljenquist & Beckstead team. You've earned a loyal future customer (and probably my kids' future visits too). Looking forward to coming back to complete the story.

The store was pretty busy the night before Christmas Eve, and the two dudes working were clearly outnumbered by customers. After not too bad of a wait, Kai took a look, agreed the action wasn't right, and even though the regular guitar tech wasn't there, said he might be able to fix it. And he did--he fixed it well, in a way that felt knowledgeable and trustworthy. Suddenly, the guitar played great. I was impressed by these two guys juggling various things and making it all seem easy.

Not to say Amazon is green and everything, but I was looking for something simple so I might as well go to Amazon. They were talking so much at the register didn't even look up to see who was around.
