The team here was incredibly helpful. Initially, I came in to buy a ring, but I changed my mind and eventually settled on a bracelet. My Client Advisor Chad was kind enough to recommend cleaning and a silver polished towel/rag. Despite my extreme indecisiveness, they remained patient and friendly. However, I must admit that the prices have tripled in the past six years for some items (no fault of this location). I understand that the price of precious metals has increased, but sheesh. All in all, I still believe that buying a gift for yourself or a loved one from Tiffany's is the best gift idea. And coming in-store to a location like this instead of purchasing online makes the experience more memorable and special. read more

I give them three stars because they've always treated my wife well when she's gone in to have her engagement ring serviced. However, when I recently went in to look for a particular gift, I was ignored for several minutes even though there were two saleswomen who saw me, and yet ignored me and continued to talk to one another. I had to stand in line to talk to a saleswoman who was helping another customer and wait for her to be free. Once she was free, she didn't help me either, but at least she asked if I'd been helped, and when I said no, she called over another saleswoman to assist me (one of the ones who had originally ignored me). While that other saleswoman assisted me, I asked about several items encompassing a broad range of prices, and she did little to hide her disdain at the lower priced items and instead pushed me not just to get one of the higher priced items, but to get a whole set of them. The end result was that I did purchase a gift, but I did so elsewhere. read more

It had been a embarrassingly LONG time since I'd stopped by Tiffany & Co to have my jewelry cleaned on site and I finally had time to stop by. I was promptly greeted and the staff member began registering all my pieces after explaining that there is a 2 day turnaround for on site cleaning. This 2 day turnaround was new to me; the last time I had my jewelry cleaned I just browsed around the store while I waited. I dropped my pieces of jewelry on a Friday and was told they would be ready on Monday. My jewelry was ready when I arrived for pickup (on Tuesday). The staff member pulled out every piece of jewelry that I'd brought in and they looked great. By the end of the year I may opt for the deep cleaning that costs $35 per piece of jewelry. I was in and out in 10 minutes for drop off and pickup, so I didn't have to pay for parking. read more

This is my third time visiting this Tiffanys they are very courteous and accommodating. I needed a birthday present for my mother and when they didn't have the necklace she wanted they helped me put a custom necklace together and I was able to get a couple of other items. We stopped in on a Wednesday around 12:30pm and due to Covid you're not allowed to browse the store at all. For us it wasn't an issue because I already knew what I wanted to purchase. We did see others leave though due to this. I recommend looking online before coming into the store and then come in with your list. I believe there were 3-4 sales representatives working on the floor which means only 3-4 customers can be helped at once. 3 customers are allowed to wait inside the store and the rest have to wait outdoors. We were greeted immediately and were given an apology on the wait. We waited WAY longer than any Tiffany & Co. I've been to before. *BUT* in-between every customer the sales representative wipes everything down with sanitizer- which is why I didn't mind the wait time. We worked with J. Castillo (sweet and friendly but appeared overwhelmed) and tried on the Elsa P. Bean pendant 9mm in silver ($150). It felt a little short and luckily there's an accommodation adjustment of 2 inches available. We were informed that this would be free if ordered and shipped to my home Vs. being charged to do it in the store. Despite really wanting it that day I didn't mind the wait so we opted for the ship to home option. I was surprised that it wouldn't arrive until 12/07 even though today is 11/25 but the holiday is probably why. We paid and left without issue until I got home and looked at my boyfriends receipt for $197. We were charged for the "free" accommodation adjustment. I called the store to speak with my representative but she was currently assisting someone else. They took down my contact information and said they would get back to me shortly. I waited 25ish minutes before getting a call back. I have to admit, this was extremely annoying and not at all like my previous experiences. I 100% understand that mistakes happen but anyone there could've assisted me. Tiffany & Co. should (and use to) make you feel like you were an important customer regardless of how much you're spending. I can't say I felt like that today. When the representative called back she told me it should say zero...which I knew, but it clearly didn't. She informed me I wouldn't be charged but after checking my credit card statement I was in fact charged. I was placed on hold and it appears there's an IT issue on their end and after providing the credit card information I was informed I'd be credited. At this point I'll have to continue to monitor the situation and confirm it was actually credited. Overall I'm not impressed with this location or this experience. Had I not noticed and called in, I would have been over charged and not informed which is totally unacceptable, and again NOT normal. Every girl (or guy) who shops at Tiffany has a standard that they expect and pay for, this missed the mark. read more

Everything was great with the ring and I was very happy with the surprise but when we left the ring back at the store for engraving and size adjustment purposes, everything started to go south. To start, I was promised (verbally and on paper) a certain date to have the ring back, but the date arrived and none had contacted me about the ring so I decided to call the store. After waiting in the line for almost 20 minutes and speaking to three different people and repeating the story to each of them, I was told that there was an issue with the engraving and that they didn't know what to put and were just waiting for someone to contact me to ask. "They were waiting for someone to contact me to ask" so at that point it became clear to me that my ring was not ready and I wasn't going to get it any time soon, then the person investigating the whole situation told me that they were going to try their best to get it ready within a week. Since I was very upset, my husband sent an email to the sales representative and they managed to get my ring done in the next two days. We went to pick up the ring and it looked beautiful and all but the embossed box that was supposed to come with it, which was ordered the same day we left the ring for engraving, was not ready. We were told to give them a couple of weeks to get it ready and they would call us to pick it up. Since the purchase was made, probably in early August, my husband had been awaiting for the diamond documents. They arrived after three weeks completely damaged, the envelope was torn and the booklet inside had gotten all wet because of the rain, which is not really their fault but they could have done a better job protecting the package. So we had to call the rep so we could get the documents resent. It took another week to get the documents delivered. Time was going by and no word about the embossed ring box, we had been now waiting for over 20 days so I decided to call to check in. Again, waiting for almost 20 minutes, spoke with two people and I was told that nobody had placed the order for the ring box when we left the ring for engraving. So back at point zero again, I was told to wait a couple of weeks to get it ready. My husband reached out to the rep and she made arrangements to expedite the process and I ended up getting the box within two days. I believe that there's a huge gap of communication between the local sales department and the service office in New York City. Nobody at the store knew why my ring was not ready and in NYC they were waiting for someone to magically reach out to me and get an answer. At times, the answers we were given via email were short and careless, blaming the service department and taking forever to take any type of responsibility. They did fix all of the issues and made an effort to expedite the process each time but I'd have rather to avoid all the back and forth from the very beginning. The ring is a true beauty, though. I'll give the Tysons store a try next time or go straight up to NYC! read more

So I ordered 2 items from this company and my experience has been Horrific! The first item came and I needed a bigger size, so I took it in store to exchange. Second item I had engraved with initials of my deceased family members and it arrived with scratches across entire piece!!! When I returned piece there was no communication about return process at all! I sent item back on 9/6 it arrived on 9/7 and no one sent acknowledgment of item. I had to call on 9/13 to inquire about item. Then they said they can't give me a new one only buff out b/c it was engraved. She said she would call me back momentarily after she checked the back. She called me to let me know they did not have my item but could ship it before the day needed. Terrible service. I purchased a ring and was promised overnight delivery. Two days later when I did not receive a package, I had to call and was told there was an inventory problem. Three calls later I was promised another overnight package, it arrived 4 days later. The next "snafu" was getting the ring sized. I was promised the sizing would take 5-7 days. Turns out it was 5-7 business days, two weeks later I have still not received the ring. Obviously the purchase by LVMH has decimated the Tiffany's customer service. read more

I am writing to share how disappointed I am with the lack of communication from this Tiffany store location regarding a repair I brought in on the 14th. Based on the receipt I received the ring repair was to be completed by May 8th. Imagine how I felt when on the 12th I reached out to the service center to be told that they reached out to this Chevy Chase store to get approval to move forward because the repair would not be able to correct the problem completely. The rep shared that they have been holding the ring repair until they received approval for the store. She shared the store SHOULD have reached out to me to discuss this and get my approval. As of this email the Chevy Chase store HAS NOT made ANY attempt to contact me either by email or a call. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable and not what I would expect from the Tiffany brand. I am absolutely disappointed in their lack of customer service and will NOT bring my business to this location. Their lack of communication demonstrates that they don't seem to care about customer service and had I not reached out on my own my ring repair would have continued to be delayed. read more

After a few visits to the Tiffany location in Chevy Chase, I decided to finally review my experiences at this store. First of all, the employees for the most part are very friendly and personable; this includes the security guards I've interacted with. One of the sales professionals Racha has been especially wonderful, and she's always been super patient with me whenever I've tried on a lot of things instead of making me feel as though I needed to hurry up and make up my mind. I also appreciate that she's given me very helpful advice and responses to my questions instead of generic canned sales responses. There's also a very nice Asian male and an older female sales professional with glasses who went out of their way to be kind to me even though I came in dressed in casual attire. Sure, a couple of the employees come across as cold and impatient, but they're definitely in the minority. Aside from the sales floor, the cleaning service has been very hit-or-miss. I brought in a cross pendant and a locket to get them cleaned, and I will say that the gentleman with glasses did a FANTASTIC job cleaning up my cross. The silver was practically black when he received it, and the yellow gold part of the pendant was tarnished to a bronze orange. I don't know how he did it, but he somehow brought the necklace back to its gleaming pale original colors. As for the locket, it was in pretty good condition when I brought it in except for some slightly green coloring that was forming at the top. It seemed clean enough when I picked it up, but unfortunately I made the mistake of not immediately checking the interior of the charm. When I popped open my locket that evening, I noticed that the once-clean interior was horribly tarnished. After I'd picked up my pieces a few hours earlier, I immediately took them home and stored them inside an airtight case, so the locket couldn't have tarnished by my own actions. The next day, I drove back to the store almost as soon it opened in order to have this remedied, only to have a surprisingly unfortunate experience. Despite my attempts to be friendly and professional, the lady at the customer service desk generally refused to make eye contact and seemed intent on coming across as distant. I asked her if it was possible to fix the tarnishing with a quick polishing, and she informed me that they would have to send it out and it would cost me $35. I then asked why I was expected to pay $35 for their mistake, and she put her hands on her hips and told me that I couldn't prove it was them. Fortunately I could, because I took photos of what my locket looked like before I took it in for cleaning. Instead of anything resembling an apology, she only replied with an "oh," before disappearing in the back to clean off the tarnish. It only took about a minute for her to do so. I hate to write reviews that aren't glowingly positive, and I really do enjoy interacting with most of the staff there, but it is frustrating to have some of your jewelry look way worse than it did before a professional cleaning. It's also unfortunate as a customer to interact with a store employee and feel as though they're under the impression that the roles are reversed. If you come in for a cleaning at this location, please make sure that you document what your pieces look like beforehand so that you don't have to have the same experience that I did. At the very least, I'm relieved to now have a silver polishing cloth (that I requested) to hopefully avoid the amount of cleanings I would need from Tiffany in the future. read more

This place wins the award for being the worst Tiffany's in America. Probably even the world. Holy hell, I was disappointed with my purchase. Well, not the purchase per se, but the service was terrible. My tried and true wedding gift is the Tiffany's Honeycomb Platter. Sometimes I get it engraved with the couple's wedding invitation, sometimes I just give the platter. Either way, I've given this to several people all over the country and everyone has loved it. Getting that engraved platter was my mission of the day. Normally I visit the Tyson's Galleria shop, but I was running errands in Friendship Heights and figured a Tiffany's is a Tiffany's, right? WRONG! Unlike every other Tiffany's I've ever been to (from Boston to NYC to San Francisco), this place felt small, cramped and the customer service was much less than impressive. It took me forever to track down a sales associate, which was surprising given the sparse number of shoppers in the store. Once I placed my order, I was assured that I would receive a call once it came in (approx. 2 weeks). That call never came, so finally after 3 weeks, I called them to see what was going on and was told, "Oh, this has been here for over a week, why haven't you come in for it?" (WTF?) Fine, I can overlook that. So I went in to view the order and have it shipped. Mistake #2. They assured me everything would be nicely shipped and sent the very next day, and I could call and get a tracking number to follow the package. I called 2 days later and no one seemed to know what the tracking number was, but they assured me everything was fine. Flash forward about a week and a half, and the newlyweds still hadn't received their gift. I called Tiffany's and asked them if they could check on the package status and they said it had been left on my recipient's doorstep a few days prior. I was appalled to learn that a store that consistently ships such expensive items as Tiffany's would opt out of a signature requirement for delivery. On the one hand, this is partially my fault for not confirming what the shipping method would be, but I've never had this happen at ANY of the other Tiffany's I've shopped from, so I had no reason to think it would happen here. I went back to Tiffany's in person and they told me they would begin the tracking process with UPS and would call me as soon as it began, but that was over 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard a peep. Thankfully the missing gift turned up (someone HAD stolen it, but somehow the cops caught the thieves stealing another package which led them to their stash, and my friends were able to get their gift), but no thanks to Tiffany's. Do yourself a HUGE favor and DO NOT shop at this location! Go to Tyson's, you'll be MUCH happier. read more

I was just at Tiffany in Tysons Corner a mere week ago. I *thought* I had the perfect gift for my mother-in-law...until I found out that she doesn't wear necklaces (or more specifically, she has a necklace that she always wears, and thusly, never wears any other necklace). Of course. So on this past snowy Saturday, my husband and I came to the Tiffany's at Chevy Chase. Now, I have to say that I've never been a fan of coming to the shops on the Chevy Chase strip because even with validation, you still end up paying for parking. Albeit, it is only $1, however, just like a shipping & handling fee, I find parking fees ludicrous and will go out of my way to avoid paying them. Yes, I'm ridiculous. I have no issues paying out the nose for a Louis Vuitton purse, but will balk at a $1 parking fee. I'm Fenny, I don't need to make sense. We arrive at Tiffany and the store is pretty packed. Um, is there an economic crisis going on? It didn't seem like it on Saturday. We wander around until we find a few things we like. Almost immediately a sales associate comes to help us. We weren't sure about our selection and sensing our waffling, she kindly asked what we were looking for. After explaining what we were looking for, she takes us over to a different counter and brings out something that we wouldn't have picked on our own in a million years. Looking at it through the counter, it looked a little more masculine and modern then what my mother-in-law likes, however, once the sales staff put it on herself to show us how it looked and the different ways she could wear it, both my husband and I were nodding and saying "we'll take it" in unison. Awesome! I'm super excited for our gift now! YAY! Heh, as our sales associate was wrapping up our purchase, she asked how was my service at Tyson's (as I had to also return my previous gift), and I was like "it was meh". I was actually quite nervous when I decided to come in and buy a pair of silver hoops. I found that there were a lot of people inside but I was helped promptly. I don't remember his name, but he helped me find the earrings I was looking for and it was a quite smooth process. He tied up the little box and put it in the little bag and I was on my way. I thought it would be a bit intimidating to go in, but it was actually fun. --- 10.24.07 update::: So I did something stupid. I lost one of the above mentioned earrings when I was visiting my parents in Belgium this summer. I was so mad. I finally went back to the store about 2 weeks ago to see about getting a replacement earring. I thankfully, remembered to bring the one, lonely earring that had been sitting on my dresser for months. I filled out some forms, and then they sent my earring off to find a new mate. The replacement came back in a week - which was faster than the originally quoted time. I was really excited to see that the earrings were so bright and shiny when I got them back. Obviously the one would be, since it was a replacement, but my original earring had also been polished up and looked like it was brand new. I was very pleased by my experience here. I walked in the store and was warmly greeted by a group of employees. Here is where I subtract my one and only star. When I said I was interested in silver, all the sales people shamelessly lost interested and told me to head to the back....ouch! Once in the back I was treated kindly by the minor league sales force and they helped me find just the pair of earrings I was looking for. Even as a fairly clueless guy, I could tell they were beautiful. Anyway, I never knew this was the case, but the little blue bags these things come in are like catnip to woman. My girlfriend dropped her bags, dropped her jaw and walked zombie like across the room looking only at the bag. She loves the earing and I now know where to go for all my jewelry needs. My favorite DC area Tiffany is the Chevy Chase, MD location. We stopped in on Saturday to look around and have my jewelry cleaned. It is a nice perk to buying jewelry at Tiffany. I been here on numerous occasions and have always received great service. The items they carry are always top notch regardless what you are buying. Tiffany is higher priced than other jewelers but you know the item you are buying will be very good. Their reputation and has upheld their name. Details - - - - Store: clean, very nice, and open. I like the layout of this store best and they seem to have more in stock than Tyson's Corner Tiffany. Location: In the Chevy Chase shopping area next to Louis Vuitton, Barney's NY, Gucci, etc. Closest entrance/parking is a garage about 500ft away. Inventory: usually a decent amount of items in stock. Items can always be custom ordered. Lighting: Very nice lighting of course, this helps with selling their jewelry and housewares. There are certain parts of the store towards that back that lets in daylight, you can bring your jewelry over to that area to see how it would look in daylight setting without taking it out of the store. Temperature: Good. The store is not too cold. Display: everything always looks good, put together, and in place. Main areas for gifts/housewares immediately when you walkin. To the right are charms/charm bracelets/ sterling silver necklaces and jewelry. There is another section towards the back of the store with diamonds - bracelets, earrings, rings, you name it. SA's: SA's are friendly and very helpful. They know what they are selling. Best time to visit: Saturday mornings around lunchtime seemed to be quiet which is good for undivided attention and service. Other tips: - free jewelry cleaning anytime if you purchased that piece of jewelry there. As much as I love their products, they're quiet expensive. It's well worth the price when you're receiving great quality products and outgoing service. This one particular Tiffany's & CO. store on Wisconsin has one of the best customer services in any store. Jeweler Tony Wang assisted me with almost all my needs (even though I ended only purchasing 3 things). He really provided me with a wide selection of gifts to choose from as well as understanding the kinds that I needed. He wasn't pushy like a lot of the salespeople I've experienced and extremely friendly. Unlike salesmen at other high end stores, he was willing to assist teenagers (like me) and not just the typical rich older people. My favorite Tiffany's that I have been to - so far 5 purchases over the past 2 years. The service here is impeccable and the staff really can not be beat. As a teenager, I often get those snooty "What are you doing here?" looks when I go into high end stores. Hey, just because I'm young doesn't mean I'm too immature or poor for your store! I have never gotten that attitude at this Tiffany's location, even if I am only looking around. There are always SA's eager and willing to help me find something or special order it if it is out of stock. I love asking for their advice, and often base my final purchase decision on the suggestions I'm given because I find I can really trust their taste. Special orders are always shipped promptly and I am notified by phone that I can pick it up in store. While I shop, the SA's always offer to polish the silver jewelry I'm wearing and make it look brand new! Repairs are also easy here, and the clasp on my bracelet was fixed within 20 minutes without an appointment. This Tiffany's has a great selection and a clean, organized store. Delilah and Kathy are awesome for advice and service... plus I get thank-you cards after I make a purchase. Now that's what I call great customer service. read more

I love Tiffany & Co. - I know many people just see it as an overhyped brand, but my husband has bought almost all of my jewelry there, including my gorgeous Lucida engagement ring. I have silver jewelry, diamonds earrings, necklaces, etc. Very lucky woman. I also buy most of my wedding/baby shower/engagement gifts there. They always have something and are always coming out with new, creative jewelry. I have never had a problem with any of my pieces and I take my engagement ring in to be cleaned every couple of months and they are so gracious to do accommodate such a menial task. The employees are always very helpful. We bought my engagement ring at the Tyson's location, but everything else from Chevy Chase and both locations are really great, but I especially like the Chevy Chase store. We've purchased rings, cufflinks, money clips, bracelets...you name it from Tiffanys. Some things that people forget is that Tiffany and Co makes lovely glassware and china. We have two vases from this store, which are absolutely gorgeous. Another great thing about Tiffanys is they will clean your jewelry in the store for free. They will also send it off to be refinished for a nominal fee - and it comes back looking almost new. I think we will always shop with Tiffanys. read more

It all started 2 weeks ago with me browsing the Tiffany website at 5:00am to see their rose gold pieces. (Because that's what everyone does, right?) I had been whining (mostly to myself) about rose gold jewelry. I considered Bulgari, but I couldn't bring myself to drop THAT much on something that looked, quite frankly, that tacky. But, I digress. I found the rose gold band with diamonds on the site and as soon as they opened at 10:00am, gave them a call. I was transferred to Kathy Spirer. She told me they had it in my size and that she would hold it for me. I already knew that this piece was the one! I hope that I was her easiest sale of the day! When I got there, she did indeed have it on hold. Long story short, I gushed over it, loved it, bought it! I got my other pieces cleaned as well (should really do that more often because they came back so shiny!). Just yesterday I received a card in the mail from Kathy expressing her thanks for shopping with her and her hoping I am enjoying the piece (of course I am, I shove it in my brother's face every now and then). I think this is a great gesture - my brother said out of all the sales associates he has shopped with, Kathy at this location has been the only one to follow up with a card. Her customer service and care is absolutely top-notch. I have my next purchase in mind already (hope they still have it a few months down the line) and will only be shopping with her! read more

This is one of two reviews. I was here about 2 weeks ago to have my engagement ring sized (YAY!) and I was instructed that the Customer Service area around the corner would assist my fiancee' and I. If no one's there you can ring the bell and someone came rushing out of the back room. I do not recall the name of the customer service rep that assisted us but she was very sweet and seemed genuinely happy about our engagement. Tiffany & Co. has always received 5 stars from me but I had to deduct a few stars because what happened next really bothered me. THE BAD As we sat completing the paperwork for the sizing, the woman kept commenting how beautiful my ring is and I responded with many thanks, I SAW HER SLIP MY RING ON HER FINGER and then admire it on her hand!!!!!!! I get it... its a pretty ring. We like to try on pretty things but at least have the common decency to not put a customer's jewelry on right in front of their face! I thought it was rude. My fiancee' thought it was rude. At least wait until we leave if you must try my engagement ring on. :/ I was so confused as to why she did that. Anyways, she told us the ring would be ready in a week. I hadn't even had my ring for a week because he had just proposed so, believe me... I was counting down the days. Tiffany would send an email to let us know when its ready for pick up. A day before it was suppose to be ready...no email so I called the store. After being placed on hold for about 3 mins I was told that they needed an additional 5..... FIVE days before it would be ready. OMG I said okay. I figured they were busy with an influx of orders. But then my wild imagination got the best of me..... After seeing the customer service rep SLIDE MY RING ON HER FINGER... I swore up and down that she didn't put my order in on time and MUST have worn my engagement ring for days before she submitted it for sizing! I know it sounds crazy but I don't know what to tell you. O_O THE GOOD ...........The same day that I called and a few hours later I received an email saying my ring was ready to be picked up on the day they had initially estimated. Whew! I stressed myself out for nothing. I picked it up. It fit properly. I love it! And all of the customer service reps were still so very sweet. All in all, the service was great but that whole trying my ring on in my face wasn't so cool. So 2 stars for that experience. I also (the same day) made a purchase with Jamie Neam. SHE WAS SO NICE AND SWEET. Very friendly and personable. I love how fast she was boxing my purchase while tending to me as a customer. She was great and other sales associates even approached me to greet me. Very nice and warm. Don't be thrown off if no one greets you as soon as you walk in. I hardly ever get an immediate greeting. I think they may do that on purpose so it gives you a chance to walk the floor. I don't know. I'm just being positive about it. Lastly, Tiffany's does validate the 1st hour of parking, I think. Ask for Kathy. She is a dream. She will show you everything, talk you through your fears, and won't pressure you. We walked in looking like sweaty bums in cut-off shorts, and she offered us water and assistance right away. She's the true example of what you want a luxury salesperson to be. Here's the thing. I had a horrible experience at Tiffany in New York, then my fiancé encouraged me to try another location and continue our search for an engagement ring. I reluctantly went, knowing full well that this places sells incredibly overpriced jewelry and has a very limited selection that cannot be customized...ie, I'm not buying my ring here but other people are, and the level of customer service is crucial. My floating heart necklace chain broke, causing my heart to be nowhere to be found and a lovely chain broken in half. It broke, probably, from old age...but it's quality silver and shouldn't have broken. Even though the heart was gone, I figured I could use the chain - fiance went to this store to see about a replacement chain or to get it fixed. $50. I love this particular Tiffany & Co! The store is not overwhelming and they validate for parking. I love the store representatives! They are always so friendly and extremely helpful. I called to order a pendant for a baby shower gift over the phone for pick up later that evening and the person over the phone was very pleasant. When I arrived to pick up my ordered everything was ready to go and all wrapped up. I purchased a bracelet from this particular store one other time and Danielle mailed me a hand written thank you note for purchasing my item with her! I thought that was super amazing and classy! I still have that note. :) Overall, I probably have visited this store over 10 times purchasing something at least 8/10 times and returning for cleaning or repairs (my fault) the other 2/10 times. An Update: Finally got something from Charlie... well, an extended family member from overseas just got married and we went and told Charlie what was expected. He found it..... I came here Mother's Day weekend. The store was busy but I was asked if I needed help at least 3 times within my first 5 minutes of being in the store. I already knew what I wanted to get; hence, the reason for the missing star. They didn't have to help me too much. The person I had was very personable and understanding with me having my 4 year old son with me. She was efficient with my transaction and did assist me with the necklace length. I would return to this location. They validated my parking. I'm not sure if it was because I made a purchase if it's there policy to validate all customers' parking tickets. read more

Dropped in at Tiffany & Co. early in the engagement ring buying process. The service was polite and attentive, though the SA was content to simply pull rings and didn't have any particularly helpful suggestions or feedback. I took one star off for selection. I was blown away by the Las Vegas Tiffany store. Beautiful selection and gorgeous, big ROCKS. ;) The selection here in Chevy Chase is smaller and surprisingly modest and conservative. I'm sure the SAs here would be happy to ship additional selections in from other stores, but it's a long process and they only bring in a small number at a time. If the SA had been more proactive, I might have gone this route! Given the selection, I love this particular location mostly when I'm being driven down Wisconsin Ave. in the early evening, and I can take in the sparkling lights of the line of trees, and glance at the big Tiffany clock and LV/Gucci's window displays....
