After getting a few estimates and interviewing a few remodeling companies I was very scared because I have done some remodeling in my house about 14 years ago and that was not a pleasant experience so obviously I was very apprehensive. Some of these contractors talk down to you because they feel that you don't know anything. Contrary when I met Tamar it was totally different, she made me feel comfortable, she explained everything. After I made my own review of her extremely slow service and horrible treatment of others, KT sent me a message that he and his wife had a similar situation. He also told me that she pays people to make fake reviews which is why we see some 5 stars. Thank you for taking the time to write the review. I feel it's important to warn people. I still use a great tile guy who I met thru her. She never paid him for the work he did at my house. So even though I had paid her the progress payments, I paid him directly. This our first remodel project in our first home. The kitchen was in desperate need of a remodel (rotting cabinets, broken floor tiles, leaking sinks...) Naturally we shopped around every local contractor, and had a lot of anxieties about materials, budget, and everything else. We considered a few estimates with similar price points but ultimately chose Tamar because she made us feel like no question was too small or silly. she offered us a generous installment plan that made our budget feel doable. Plus her creative design skills when it came to colors and textures took our original vision and just knocked it out the ballpark. We did read some of the previous 1 or 2 star reviews before signing, and it did create some hesitations, but I trusted my gut from meeting Tamar's wonderful personality and I'm so glad I did. Tamar showed up with her team the next say after signing to start the necessary demo and provided a detailed plan of the schedule. We have tight work/school pick up schedules, and she managed to work with our timelines to ensure one of us was always home while workers were in. She would pop in every few days to check on the progress and instruct the workers as needed. They cleaned up afte themselves every day, and within a few weeks we were enjoying our modern kitchen that will last us many years to come. She truly made an effort to figure out exactly what I wanted with my kitchen remodel and walked me through the process step by step. I have to list my HUGE KUDOS to the whole team especially to Tamar, my designer/ project manager who not only listened to my vision, was extremely professional, yet personable, and a very talented designer. So much fun to work with! She keep everything on schedule, check up on our progress, make corrections where needed, and finish EARLY! VERY pleased with the service! We were put in touch with Best Home Advisor Remodeling via inquiry on Yelp for a bathroom remodel. Started off well with the in home estimator / salesman - Tamar. No nonsense, through and personable. There was a short wait (@ 2 months) as the items were made to order, but given the situation ongoing and amount of work being done, this was not an issue. I'd rather wait a bit to get things right, than rush it and have issues during install. They removed out 1974 original shower/tub combo AND sink/vanity unit. Replaced it with NEW, solid construction - not a cover over - in less than 3 days. That includes all the demolition work as well as the prep and install. Incredibly clean & tidy, even updated the under sink plumbing to better fit the new solid wood vanity & dual bowl sinks unit. Attention to detail was impressive and the crew were friendly, professional and expert trade skillmen. Also worth noting was that was NO hidden costs! The price I was quoted and agreed upon, was the cost I paid. Period. read more

By far the worst contractor ever that I have ever used for kitchen remodeling. Project took over 9 months to complete and anyone is reading this review please be warned. Tamar is trying to be nice when signing the contract, but then once the project starts, she turns to become an unprofessional witch. She is not knowledgeable about construction and doesnt have her own crew. Relying on hiring a sub or handyman that doesnt know how to do electrical work or tiling work. All.of this is rework and takes alot longer time to complete. Do not consider Best Home Advisor Inc as your contractor. read more

My family had a horrible experience with Tamar, the owner of Best Home Advisor. Many men working for her quit in the middle of their work and claimed it was because she would not pay them on time or the full amount owed. Tamar kept bringing in new men to finish other's work. She would only schedule workers for two days per week on average so the job which was supposed to be completed in 3 weeks took over 4 months. I read the other reviews, and I can tell you what the other reviewers experienced is no longer the case. My bathroom remodel with this company has been a nightmare, mainly because of Tamar and her unprofessional behavior. The men working for her do excellent work, however they are quitting left and right. I have had 6 men from 4 different trades tell me that they want to finish my job but won't return until Tamar pays them! I was shocked to hear it from the first gentleman and thought it must be a mix up. But it continues to happen. And just to be clear, I have made all my progress payments on time. From what I hear, Tamar's MO is to pay subcontractors on her previous job site with the money coming in from next job site. And so in our case she used almost $20,000 to pay workers for their work done at other job sites. Apparently she doesn't keep enough reserve. Now the men on my job site are not getting paid. Some say they have not even been paid for all of their work from the job site before mine. Six men (some don't even know each other) have told me a consistent message: "Tamar owes me a lot of money. She owes me money from work done weeks ago. I'm not returning to work until she pays me". This has caused a 4 week job to take 15 weeks so far, with a lot more to do. She also showed up at our house knowing her husband was exposed to COVID19 by an employee who tested positive, and he/husband was having symptoms. She didn't warn us or ask if it was ok with us that she come over in this situation and then walked around us all with her mask hanging down off her face talking loudly. Then later that day her husband said he was off work due to COVID self-quarantine. Also, I have heard Tamar scream at her workers. For multiple workers to tell customers how unprofessional she is, speaks volumes. I do not recommend this company! read more

I searched quite a bit for a contractor to remodel both of my bathrooms and finally decided to contract with Best Home Advisor Remodeling Inc. I was extremely comfortable when I first met Tamar and she truly cares about her clients. My first bathroom required the removal of a tub and transition to a full shower. I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism with Tamar's crew (electrician, plumber, painters, tile experts, etc.). They truly took care of my home like it was their own. And the job took 3 weeks with all inspections. I'm just starting on my master bathroom which will be a shower transition to tub/shower. I'm very excited for it's completion as well. Orignal call from HA/ Angi the agent said he represented Angi, set an appointment and the contractor never showed. Another agent called and when confronted about the no show, said their company had never contacted me. They tried to produce another contractor who did contact me to set an appiontment only to find his company was 1500 miles away from my location. Now I am stuck with 3 calls a day and 5 spam emails. Best Home Advisor Remodeling just finished a master bath remodel for us...We are beyond happy with the final results. Tamar was our project manager. We gave her some ideas and a budget. She came back with a perfect design and color scheme for our master bath. There were some COVID related materials delay that she navigated as best she could and in the end delivered a really nice finished product for us. No hidden or surprise charges and every quote was exactly how it appeared on the job bid. She checked on the project several times along the way and made some great suggestions that we had the choice to add on as the project came together. They may seem expensive, but you definitely get your wallets worth! We look forward to having Best Home Advisor Remodeling do more for us in the future. read more

I am giving this company 1 star for the work they have done in my home. Tamar has either not managed the job or has mismanaged it from the first week. Because of her personal distractions and delays, a job promised to be completed in 3 weeks has already taken 3 1/2 months. She is incredibly unresponsive to questions or concerns. read more

Tamar told us she is the owner of the company and assigned herself as the project manager of our bathroom remodel. She sent men to demo who did not speak any english and we were unable to communicate with. She did not stay to supervise the demo work and her men did extensive damage to our home; they deeply scratched/chipped/dented our wood bannister and double front doors in numerous places, deep down to the raw wood. They also scratched faux painted walls while carrying out the debris. We brought this to her attention the same day. She came and looked and said she would do "touch up" dabbing of stain and paint, even though her own painter said "touch-up" will not look right, and the damage will still be seen. He recommended sanding and refinishing. A second painter looked and said the same. Tamar refused. And after over 3 months later, she has not had any work done to fix the damage. Also, she sent men who she said are plumbers to do the rough plumbing and they made many technical plumbing mistakes. She was not on-site and these men also did not speak any english so we were unable to communicate with them. The job they did failed city inspection twice. They also gouged up the new bathtub during installation. And then later during the final plumbing work, different plumbers she hired were not able to install the finish fixtures/trim correctly because the rough plumbing was installed "too far out", so now the fixtures/trim can't sit flush as Moen made the fixtures to be installed. The fixture handles stick out a few inches from the tile, and 3 inches of the rough-metal and screws show. She refuses to fix the mistakes which can be remedied by going thru the wall behind and adjusting. Further, she either incorrectly measured and/or to save herself money did not purchase enough porcelain floor tile or enough marble accent tile or enough granite to cover the job; we were short on all 3 types of stone used. She was unresponsive and continually delayed movement on the job. To keep moving forward on the job, we as homeowners had to purchase the additional stones, despite the contract stating that the company would purchase the stone. And now she refuses to reimburse us. Her granite installer showed up to work drunk, and admitted he had been drinking, and said "So what does it matter?" He also refused to finish the job unless we would pay him directly. Again, Tamar and the company are unresponsive, ignore our emails, and appear to be abandoning our job site. We made the progress payments on-time, and despite taking our money, they are not sending the workers necessary to complete the job. The contract states the job would be done in 3 weeks. It has been 16 weeks and there is still a significant amount of work to do, including granite/tile installation, plumbing corrections, drywall/painting, electrical, and more. We have been cheated out of thousands of dollars. I recommend you find a honest company with ethics and professional standards, which is not this company or their representative Tamar. read more
