Not gunna lie, I was disappointed with the #TaterTotRings we ordered. They were plain tots (no fun shape) with some salt & pepper, served with a side of house sauce. The sauce was good, as were the tots. Hopefully, I can try the fun Tot Rings next time. I also ordered my favorite coffee, Salted Caramel Macchiato with oat milk. I needed to know if it was worth my time to get back to those tots. My coffee was perfect! YEAY The drive-thru barista was friendly and treated our pups to a #PupCup That's a sure-fire way to win some points.

I needed a quick coffee to end my day and after searching the best coffee in La Mesa, Red White and Badass Brew was the first to pop up. The owner was super nice-I didn't get his name-and he walked with me through the menu as I haven't had specialty coffee drinks like these before. I went with his recommendation of the whiskey latte (iced) and also decided to try the toasted tan lines (iced) When I tell you, my first sip transported me back to the 2013-2016 era of coffee culture when specialty drinks were first starting to get popular, I am being so serious. Both the whiskey latte and toasted tan lines were full of so much flavor. The toasted tan lines took me straight back to my trip to Kauai in 2013 and the whiskey latte was reminiscent of a latte I would get in middle school from a Brazilian small business. There was just something so nostalgic about these lattes that I had to immediately write a review. So many coffee shops lack the flavor of the 2010s before companies cut corners and scraped for our pennies, but not here Thanks for the coffee! Instead, we waited a few minutes and when the worker had our drinks made, he opened the window and, without saying hello or anything polite, he handed me my drinks and said "Next time you need to come inside and pick up your order because you are messing up our hours" Not sure what that means or how it is different from me ordering at the speaker when I arrive. If anything, sending the mobile order gave them a head start in making our drinks. The mobile order also ensured that my order was placed correctly. I don't have a complicated order, but when I order in person they often get it wrong. Bottom line, skip this location. There are at least 2 locations within 2 miles from this one.

So,she puts the doughnuts in the bags, one bad for the regular plain ones and the other bag for the donut holes . I decide to have a few of the donut holes, but when I looked in my bag they were glazed donut holes and not the crumb that I had asked for two times while she said what to me instead of excuse me can you repeat it. I was so darn upset, I walked out! I will never be coming back to the Santee location again. This treatment was unacceptable!
