Not great, not terrible, just very strictly OK. I'd probably go here again. Most dishes are only available in quart size, not pint size. That's a downside for me. Huge menu that contains a number of dishes not commonly seen in other area establishments. Chicken with string beans and chicken with asparagus to name but a few. Believe them when they say a dish is spicy. The hot and sour soup was very good and was plenty of both. I didn't encounter any of the service issues mentioned in other reviews. To the contrary, the counter service was actually very pleasant. Thumbs up to the fellow who took my order. He did a very good job and I hope to deal with him again. We've found the best way to order delivery is online through their website rather than by phone... far less confusion over what is ordered. You get to review and make corrections to your order before you commit. Then you get an email order confirmation that includes a copy of your order. We order from them two or three times a month. Using their website we have never experienced a problem with the order or delivery time we selected. They have always delivered on time or a few minutes early. No delivery from anywhere is piping hot ... It's delivery and that involves time. With that out of the way, the food is good. Ingredients have always been fresh. Of course, we have our favorites and there are dishes we like less, butt that's our personal taste. read more

The closest to us. Pretty good even though they always get my order slightly wrong. The garlic sauce is inconsistent, sometimes brown sometimes reddish. I like the brown better. Although we have a reliable and very good Chinese restaurant very close to our home, we decided to try something else and see if we were missing out - I received a menu in the mail from Best China Chef and we tried it. The food was fine, but just okay average. Rice was yellow and a little dry and the egg rolls were just okay. The shrimp roll wasn't really shrimp, just one little bit in the whole roll. I am glad we tried, but will not be back. The online ordering did not let me select my sides of sauce, there was not hot mustard which is our favorite - we received duck sauce (which was a waste and ended up in the trash. I can't wait til they reopen. This is my favorite place for Chinese close to my neighborhood. They are usually busy. I always pick up my food and they are always friendly. She has a shitty attitude for running a business. On top of lousy customer service they seem to think it's ok not to wear masks. She told me 45 mins, after an hour passed I called & said my food is not here she says "he just left should be 5-10 mins" 30 mins goes by & I call again & say my food is not here yet she says she will call him & tell him to hurry up & my card will be refunded. Went in one day for pickup and watched the female manager owner yell and berate a customer because he came to pick up his order that he placed online and when he arrived and the order never was received for some reason. From that point things turned into nothing short of a WWE event. The guy simply asked for a full refund via cash or to credit his account as his order was never made and he didnt feel like waiting for a whole order to finally be made. From there the female owner manager began yelling SIR SIR SIR repeatedly talking over him and berating him telling him she wont give him a refund as they never got the order online so its not their fault. After a 10 min shouting match they finally called the online server to see his order was legit but not before she threatened to call the police on him for asking for a refund. He finally left when the lady conceded and said they would credit him back to his credit card the charge he did recieve and gave up on forcing him to wait for the food. With the amount of time the manager spent screaming at him she could had made the damn order. All the while I was still waiting just to get my pick up order. When the melee finally ended and I got my order mine's was ice cold. I payed and left as I feared if i said something to the female manager she would froth at the mouth and hit me with a steel chair and put me in some form of a submission hold. I pre-ordered online. When I arrived there, the didn't have my order. I then had to wait an extra 15 min. They proceeded to charge me a different amount then the amount pre-ordered. The lady at the register was not nice at all. No apologies were given. I get home with my family's dinner & they forgot to put the order of fried rice in the bag, so I called to let them know I paid but didn't get what I ordered. I asked if they could deliver the item they forgot & it took over an extra hour till it arrived. BTW, the lady hung up on me when I called back to ask if they got lost. This used to be one of my favorite Chinese takeout restaurants in the area, but after my last two experiences I won't be going back. The next to last time we ordered delivery and the food never showed up. When I called to see where the food was they said the woman who took my order was confused and thought I was picking dinner up. When I explained it was for delivery and she took my address, he saw my address and said he would bring it right out. When the food arrived there was no apology or adjustments to the bill. This past Friday I ordered dinner to be picked up. They had a boy running the register. When they brought two orders up, I asked if one was mine and he asked what I had ordered and said neither was mine. Twenty minutes later the regular woman came up and asked me what I had ordered. I told her what I had ordered and it ended up being one of the bags I asked about. When I told her that the bag had been sitting there for 20 minutes and I had asked the boy about it, she just repeated the price. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area and since this one shows no signs of proper customer service or appreciation, I shall take my business elsewhere! read more
