    I wish I could rate this company with ZERO stars. Be careful.... they have a scam going in which you pay no interest for a period of time, then if you haven't paid for your purchase in full by a certain date, they slam you with charges that none of the representatives I've spoken to can explain to me. I've reported Best Buy to the Better Business Bureau for fraudulent charges.... My most recent summary shows an interest charge of $510.80 which I will not be paying. I spoke to a representative on the phone who tried to make sense of this scam regarding a promotional period that was clearly NOT explained to me. Absolutely ridiculous! I called again- nothing. I emailed them FOUR times- nothing. I tried that "online" conversation when a robot tries to help you with the disputed charges- nothing. I will never do business at Big Buy again. I will also be using social media to its maximum capacity, in order to communicate this scam to the public. After reading about this online, I already can see that I'm one of MANY consumers being ripped off by this company during an international crisis. Kimberly Nolan

    My wife and I purchased a full kitchen of appliances from Bestbuy, and scheduled delivery for today. The delivery guy arrives with our Samsung refrigerator and immediately displayed an attitude. He complained about how narrow the front entrance of our home was and didn't take the time to speak with us about options. He was argumentative and very standoffish. When I asked for his name, he wouldn't give it to me. I even asked his colleague for a name, neither would give it to me. So I grabbed my camera and snapped a photo. We spent over $3000 and this was the experience that we received. We will be canceling our full order. @Bestbuy @JBHunt #Bestbuy #JBHunt

    My experience was classic bait and switch. Ordered a 48" range online at an excellent (but not…read moreunique) price, website claimed it was in stock and that I would need to pick it up at their West Hartford warehouse. Got a confirmation E-mail stating order would be "processed once payment was confirmed" (odd, since CC payments are generally automated these days). Next day, I got what appeared to be an automated E-mail (no name or phone number, DoNotReply sender) stating that their "policy" was that I would need to come to their store in person to confirm identity & credit card, and that the item was a special order (not in stock after all, I guess!). Since it's a 4-hour drive each way, going there twice defeats the purpose of an online order... When I called to try to clear things up, "Jack" told me the item was not in stock and that there appeared to be a pricing error (more alarm bells start up in my head). After consulting with his manager, he did call me back, to tell me that the part number is not on the Kitchenaid site, so they can't even order it, and they don't have it in stock. I just went back on their site, and they still list that exact part number listed (KFID948SJP), but at a much, much higher price, of course. When I expressed my displeasure and asked to speak to a manger, it went to voice mail. The only excuse offered was "the website is pretty automated". I get that mistakes happen, but reputable stores make some effort to make it right with the customer. A retail store is responsible for their advertised pricing.

    I purchased a top‑of‑the‑line Speed Queen dryer from SK Lavery--nearly a $2,000 appliance--and it…read morearrived defective from day one. The installer immediately noted the loud banging noise. The dryer also scorched an expensive comforter and now requires multiple cycles just to dry a normal load. I contacted SK Lavery several times and spoke with Tiffany. While she did schedule a service call (for a brand‑new machine), she made it clear that I was expected to deal with Speed Queen directly. SK Lavery delivered a defective product yet refused to take ownership or provide real support. This is not the SK Lavery I once trusted. They may sell high‑end appliances, but they do not stand behind them. Once they have your money, you're on your own. This situation could have been handled easily if SK Lavery had taken responsibility instead of shifting the burden onto the customer. Until they change course, I strongly recommend staying away--there are plenty of reputable high‑end appliance dealers who still value accountability and customer service.

    I have very mixed feelings about this location. The first…read moretime I came here (back in September), I was told that if I dropped my phone off before 3pm it would be fixed the same day. I arrived a little after that, and my phone was repaired and ready the next day with no issues -- so my first experience was positive. Four months later, my screen started malfunctioning with no physical damage, which should have been covered under warranty. I scheduled an appointment online for Monday, drove 30 minutes, and when I arrived the store was closed, even though both the website and phone system still said they were open. There was no notice or update. I called the next day before driving there again and was met with attitude about them not notifying anyone they had been closed. When I arrived later that afternoon around 4:15pm to drop off my phone, the entrance still wasn't shoveled. I had to climb through snow just to get inside. The next day, I was charged $99 by my insurance because the claim was automatically changed from "warranty" to "accidental damage," even though the repair was not accidental. (This was done by the insurance company, not the store.) When I went to pick up my phone, I was told my SIM card tray was missing -- which was not true, as it was in the phone when I handed it over. It was inside an OtterBox-style case that snaps together, so it couldn't have just fallen out. The employee I originally gave the phone to claimed it was never there, while the employee helping me at pickup (who was much kinder) offered to order a replacement. I ended up ordering one myself because either way I would have had to wait two days -- but if the store ordered it, I would have had to drive 30 minutes back to pick it up. It made more sense to just pay the $6 and have it delivered to my house. That said, I want to give huge credit to the second employee who helped me with the insurance issue. He spent nearly an hour on the phone fighting with the insurance company, dealing with dropped calls and transfers, all while still helping other customers, just to make sure I wasn't wrongly charged. He didn't have to do that, and I truly appreciate him for going above and beyond. Because of him, my experience went from incredibly frustrating to being handled with genuine care and effort. I just wish the overall process, scheduling, and communication, was more consistent and professional.
