11/19/23 Took my cousin to help us with getting our fridge & washer/dryer. This location is convenient because it's the closest to our new place. My cousin used to work at this particular store, too. We've gone to Home Depot, Lowe's & Costco to shop around for appliances. To date, we've bought appliances from Best Buy in the past & have had positive experiences so far. Hubby & I have somewhat of an idea which brands/models at least & waited a bit of time to take advantage of what is on sale. Luckily, we have the Black Friday deals going for us. Since my cousin used to work for this company, we have a bit of an edge to select which types of brand would be the best choices. The employee who helped us out was Nate. He was on the ball & he was quick to offer assistance when we inquired about what we're looking for. We chose Whirlpool for all 3 (fridge, washer, dryer). The best pricing was to bundle these, no interest financing for 2 years and receive a $250 gift card. Nate made it easy & I must say, this was surprisingly simple. I had expected it to be a long & painful process! The bonus, delivery & set up will be this Friday (day after Thanksgiving) & I couldn't be happier. 11/24/23 The day before (Thanksgiving) we received a text for the approximate time of delivery for today-between 7-12 am. This morning at 7:15, I received a cdd ad ll from Jose that they're arriving in 30 minutes. I started with a 4 star for this review but now tying everything together from browsing & the assistance from Nate & now the delivery, they've earned a 5 star rating overall. Happy with the service, product, delivery & installation. All of THIS is stressful enough, so Best Buy made it easier & less of a burden. I recently visited Best Buy 6/14/24 7:41 PM with the intention of purchasing a refrigerator, but my experience left me extremely disappointed due to the lack of customer service and apparent disregard for customer satisfaction. When I entered the appliances area, I noticed that the employee assigned to assist customers was engrossed in her phone and showed no interest in offering help. Despite my obvious need for assistance, the employee remained on her phone. Frustrated, I approached the manager to report the situation. The manager called the employee and informed her that a customer required help. To my disbelief, even after this notification, the employee continued to use her phone for another five minutes without acknowledging me. When I returned to the manager to express my concerns, she dismissively suggested that the employee was likely looking up something on her personal phone. This excuse seemed implausible to me, especially since Best Buy provides computers for such tasks. It was clear that neither the employee nor the manager prioritized customer service. This experience is disheartening because it reflects a broader issue in modern retail where businesses expect customers to spend money without providing quality service in return. The attitude displayed by the manager and the employee suggests that this particular Best Buy location does not value its customers. Every employee represents the company, and in this case, the representation was that Best Buy doesn't care whether you make a purchase or not. Until this issue is addressed, I will not return to this Best Buy location. I suspect I am not the only customer who has experienced such poor treatment. They offer AppleCare repairs. But it's not made clear that they have to order the parts for your phone and you have to leave your phone there with them in order to have it repaired. For all that drama might as well do the $99 replacement. They don't allow a direct call to the store so finding out this information was a big waste of time in itself of finding that planning my day around this appointment would also be a waste of time because the person that does the repairs didn't bother to show up for work today and they waited an hour before my appointment to even call and notify me of this. This store is the absolute worst store I've ever stepped foot in. I just spent 4 hours at this location dealing with gear squad to still walk away upset and with no resolution insight. I came in for a car audio Geek Squad warranty I have that was purchased in 2021. The warranty is supposed to cover accidental damage and manufacture defects. I was checked in and the car audio dept took my stereo our and took my stereo up to the front counter for Geek Squad where I was greeted by Natalie a Geek Squad "consultant". Natalie proceeded to tell me that they are going to send my product out for a GSP warranty through Pioneer and said more than likely wouldn't be covered due to damage. Along with this claim they stated my car would be left with a hole where stereo would be on my car for upwards of 4 weeks. Geek Squad customer support on the phone stated that they would put a loaner in or replace it the same day. I questioned why this was happening I didn't purchase a extended warranty through Pioneer and the rep stated that's the process. I asked to speak to a store manager and that took a few minutes. Francis then came to talk to me spilling the same "procedure" that the rep did to me then offered to sell me a stereo. Francis is not the store manager I found that out from a different rep in a different department in the store. Once I didnt accept that as a answer I was told to reach out to Jason Simon which is the operations manager who has no schedule and the number on his card is for the main store which transfers to best buy customer support and you end up speaking to ppl in a different country that can not help you in any way shape or form. Ordered a dash cam on line as it clearly stated that it would be delivered the next day. 4 days later, no dash cam. They can't tell me when it will be shipped. Because the order status is "pending ", they can't issue a refund. I had several other options for getting the dash cam - it's a common item.
