We had already looked online and seen that the phone had to be put in recovery mode, which would delete everything on it. But following the steps to do that wasn't working.Gadget Pro said they could do a factory reset for $40 but we would lose everything on the phone. We were already reconciled to that, so we said go ahead. It only took an hour, and when we came back they said it worked and now all we had to do was sign in with the Apple ID and password. When I reminded them that this was the problem in the first place, they said contact Apple support and they'll unlock it for you. Apple support did unlock it after we provided them with proof that we had purchased the phone 2 years ago. Unlocking it also did a factory reset. Then we were able to set it up again with a new Apple ID and password (which I wrote down and stored). So Gadget Pro was nice and did what they said they would do pretty efficiently, but it didn't solve the problem I had brought to them. I paid them $40 to do something that was useless and unnecessary.

When I complained saying I didn't agree to pay for a damaged product the guy reminded me that I had already signed an agreement (I did, but that doesn't make it right) and that all sales were final. A few years later I came with a different MacBook that wasn't charging. I was told over the phone that it would be hundreds of dollars to fix. So I declined their business. I then went over to Ithaca Mac Repair who told me all I needed to was to clean the charging port with rubbing alcohol. Overall the customer relations were horrible, and they did not do quality work whatsoever. Mabe no one will ever see this review because of the messed-up algorithm, but if you do please don't give this shop your business it's not worth your time or money.

Upon arriving, Lee met us at his store. Looking at the lamp electric cord, he said, "nothing is impossible". During our visit, Lee kept saying, "nothing is impossible". That alone made me feel confident in his skills. I saw a handwritten letter by one of his customers. She expressed her heartfelt thanks in helping her with her car repair. Based on our interaction, I could see why she felt confident. Lee repaired the electric cord for free. Just for that, HiWay Hifi deserved 5 stars. When in need of repairs, go to HiWay Hifi. It's like a 75-year-old lamp so I know I went there and they were very helpful. Repaired my lamp lickety-split and told me about their business. The owner Lee is very nice. You could see in their counter. They have like thank you cards from many years back. They have a very good standing with the community and they offer a greater rate of very professional customized services. He was telling me about the security systems, sound systems and stuff like that, I'm in the market to buy a house so that's one of the concerns. he has a lot of options and a lot of good equipment. I mean I've worked in the field too so I know I'm looking at. I'd definitely recommend checking them out. Their customer service is great. Just listening to the owner and pride he has in the business makes you secure looking into this type of investment. Definitely check them out.

Great stereo store I have been going to since I went to college up this way. I often stop by when…read moreback in town visiting friends. They may not have the huge selection of Best Buy but they have a nice selection of tvs, stereos, and speakers to fit just about every need and price range. And the prices are just as good as best buy. The guys there are about a thousand times more knowledgeable than any of the "geek squad" folks. Plus they have tons of great vintage stereos, speakers, and record players for sale.

Back in the day Stellar Stereo was a great place to buy Laserdiscs. I would stop there at least…read moreonce a week to check out what they had in and the majority of the time I left with a new Laserdiscs. Many times I'd end up getting 4 or 5! They also did repairs on pretty much any kind of home audio/video devices. One time my Pioneer Laserdisc player was having trouble with the dual side play feature so I brought it into Stellar Stereo. I told the man at the counter the problem and asked if he had a rough estimate on how long they would have it. I was addicted to movies at the time and didn't want to be without my beloved Laserdisc player for long! He said to me "If you're not in a hurry I can take a look at it right now. If the problem is what I think it is I can have it fixed for you in half an hour or less. I was surprised to hear that and also skeptical that it could be fixed so fast. He took it apart right there on the counter and said some sort of belt had broken that allows the player to play both sides of the disc. He went into his backroom and got a belt and had it fixed and put back together in a matter of minutes! He plugged it in and grabbed a Laserdisc so we could test it and sure enough it was playing both sides with no problem! I thanked him for fixing it so quickly and asked how much did I owe. He said something like "I get a big bag of those belts at once so they end up costing me less than a dollar. He said you've been coming in here for years buying Laserdiscs so no charge since it was a simple fix." I said I really appreciate that but please let me pay you something, if you hadn't fixed it some other place would have charged me an arm and a leg and would have probably taken a week to fix. But he wouldn't accept any money. So I ended up buying three Laserdiscs from him that day with the money I had saved on the repair. I can even remember what they were. I got Con-Air,Austin Powers and Face-Off. I always highly recommended Stellar Stereo to all my friends and family. About a year later my dad bought an awesome home theatre system from them and got it at a great price. If they are even open again I highly recommend you stop in and check out the awesome equipment they have. Both vintage and new.

My mother was verbally assaulted by an employee today. She went to the wrong parking lot when…read moretrying to donate, she was confused by the cones and signage so she thought she'd just park and walk over with the box. Before she even got the box out of the car an older white man, red faced, screamed at the top of his lungs "you can wait in line like everybody else". She got back in the car because she was so scared by him. She reparked and went inside to tell the manager because it was so upsetting. The mam followed her inside and stood next to her leaned forward and intimidating while she politely explained what happened to the manager. Then she left without donating. She came home shaking and crying. I'm furious that this happened and want the employee fired. He was a 65ish white male, blue shirt, blue shorts, working at the donations. This man is out of hand and needs to be addressed.
