At 9:45pm I got a call from my main bus company saying that one of their coaches broke down and they wouldn't have a third bus for a trip we were host the next morning. The first person I called was Claudine because she had given me her cell number two years earlier. I told her our problems and within 40 minutes she had a bus and a driver locked in for my trip Needless to say, this doesn't normaly happen so I was very thankful. Instead of boarding us in order, we were told to load our own luggage. Instead of boarding first come, first serve, he called names off his roster alphabetically by first name. The several times I've taken the Go Bus it's always been boarded by first come first serve. 2. Every time I've taken the Go Bus, we were given water. I didn't bring my water bottle intentionally knowing that we would be given water. When I asked the driver about it, he said no water. I asked why, he didn't have an answer. He said he was given a permission to stop at the Delaware house and everybody can get off and go buy water. I told him that was ridiculous... We just need to go to New York.. 3. I pulled down the water bottle holder and there was an old piece of rotted fruit in it. I'm took a picture of it, which I will send to you if need be. Just disgusting 4. No wi-fi. The driver said it wasn't working. 5. Tyson's stop. Several people were late... instead of speaking to them privately, he used the microphone so that we could all hear him reprimand them. After they were on board, we sat for seven or eight minutes before we left. 6. Broken toilet seat and the hand sanitizer was empty. 7. Fold down tray tables aren't even provided, so it's challenging to do any work. 8. Return trip...a slightly better experience. So many passengers are left in DC with no ride home in the heat, and sometimes in the pouring rain because Omniride cannot get it together. Every time I took 971 home, there was standing room only after the third stop. This route (971) needs another bus. There are too many people taking this route for the limited buses currently offered.
