At the first fitting, Jerry proudly presented the finished suit and shirt, walking me through every thoughtful detail. He explained the stitching, pointed out how the trousers were subtly tailored at the hem to drape perfectly over the shoes, highlighted the custom embroidery, and even showed the sweat guards sewn into the suit--along with countless other details I would have never noticed on my own. His enthusiasm and pride in his craft were unmistakable, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about creating something exceptional for his clients. I thought I was coming in for a consultation, and I liked the fabrics and patterns we came up with, but he was disappointed that I was not ready to throw down $4,000 for the custom suit that day. (He convinced me that anything cheaper in his shop wasn't worth my time.) I can see why he likes to close the deal the day of. The more I thought about it, the less comfortable I felt throwing down than much for this suit... I had a few other reasons, too. Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.

i always try and support small family owned businesses whenever possible. i have been coming here…read morefor 12 years i think? as usual i dont give out many 5 stars. so how do they earn the 5 stars? if it is made of fabric they can do it. dog peed on your rug? they can clean it. mold on a favorite blanket no problem they can handle it. need your favorite jersey cleaned before the season starts? no problem. have a stain you just cant get off yourself, they can fix it. They also do a great job with alterations. i have brought many different items andf they are always done well. bring in anything you need and its done fast. overall, i highly recommend this business. they are always on time many times early. they can do rush service if needed. there is plenty of free parking in front. they do delivery and pickup if you are too busy to drop off and pick up yourself. my clothes always come back clean, neat and ready to wear, just what i need. On a side note ive seen some pro athletes who come in this this business as well.
