Berry Bowls is conveniently located in the Troy Hills shopping center on Rt. 46. My partner and I finally had a chance to pop in to check out their menu. I saw bubble tea listed, but they had no boba available, which crushed my spirit. I quickly recovered and ordered their delicious Banana Berry smoothie, which is understandably their most popular drink. My partner went for the Fruit Divine smoothie, which was just as good. The smoothies were fresh and well-blended, making for a great afternoon treat. There was only one person behind the counter, but he worked quickly to get the orders ahead of us done and crafted our smoothies with a minimal wait time.

I love playa bowls and when I saw a new acai bowl joint opened in this plaza, I knew I had to give it a shot. Pros: it's slightly cheaper than playa bowls, online ordering is available, people are WAY friendlier than the playa bowl staff, and the location is super convenient. Cons: the online orders are not ready in time, one bowl consistently has less acai than the other bowl, the acai is usually frozen pretty solid, and the toppings are not as generous. There are clearly differences between the two. Listen an acai bowl is an acai bowl so I'm still winning no matter where I go. Give this place a shot, you just may find your new go to place.

Tex Mex Turkey wrap - fresh, healthy & delicious!!!

Great new find!!! Berry Bowls opened its Parsippany location a month ago and I'm glad there's a new healthy food option around!!! I wanted something lighter tonight and was feeling Tex-Mexy (new word? Haha). I just didn't want to sink a bunch of empty calories. I ended up at the shopping center where Target in Parsippany is and saw the signage and bright, welcoming Berry Bowls storefront and thought I'd give it a try. I went online to see what was on their menu and the Tex Mex Turkey wrap caught my eye. I'd had a smoothie for breakfast otherwise I may have tried one of those. The owner/manager was friendly and made my wrap quickly and very well!!! All of the ingredients in this wrap are fresh and delicious!!! How can you go wrong when you combine turkey, chipotle mayo, spring mix, cheddar cheese, avocado and tomato in a garlic and herb wrap??? This cute eatery offers fruit and veggie smoothies, a great signature salad bar, paninis, pitaya bowls, coconut bowls, açaí bowls, protein shakes, fresh pressed juices, health shots like Turmeric Immune and Ginger Buzz, and bubble tea!!! I'll definitely be back to try more Berry Bowl goodness!!! They have a store in Hackettstown also but the Parsippany location is my stomping ground. :)

Food was good and well priced. Staff was friendly. Wish they cut my wrap for me. I also wish the veggies were cut smaller for a wrap so it doesnt all fall out! Great flavors though. Ill come again!

Google says they close at 7pm, their door says they close at 630pm, they have a now open banner, and the open sign illuminated, it's 620pm, yet they are closed. Good job newly opened business.

Turkey Italiano

Went in to get an açaí bowl. Fruit was sitting out and looked old. Peeled clementines looked dry, sliced apples were brown, strawberries looked very mushy. Decided to get a panini instead. Turkey looked fake. Better off getting lunchables.

This is the Mediterranean chicken wrap. It looked better before I bit it. I just couldn't wait any longer! AMAZING!

Super random find! This place kicks ass! Great service and great food. We were greeted with a smile and treated with care. Will definitely be coming back!

Door locked 40 minutes before closing.

Nice guy working there but my smoothie tasted awful. I couldn't even try to take a second sip.

Yelp usually doesn't steer me wrong and didn't this time either. The restaurant is located in a…read morevery unprepossessing strip mall in Parsippany, but inside it is nicely decorated and clearly is very popular. We were greeted ebulliently by the very nice server, and the service was great throughout the meal, with two servers and the chef or manager (both?) checking on us. There is an extensive menu, from which I chose the Jersey Carbonara and my dining partner had the Shrimp and Pancetta Risotto. Both entrees were delicious and filling, The restaurant bakes delicious bread, which is light and fluffy and somehow tastes vaguely cheesy also. We rounded off our meal with what I hope was a decaf capuccino--one of the smoothest coffee drinks I've had the pleasure to sample--and a truffle with two kinds of ice cream and a little jujube inside. 10/10 would eat there again.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a cozy date night. It's also BYOB, which is a great bonus and makes the experience even better. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which was very tasty and full of flavor. That said, the portion was on the smaller side for the price. What really elevated the night, though, was the dessert menu everything we tried was delicious and ended the meal on a high note. Overall, it's a charming spot with great service, solid food, and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a relaxed Italian dinner with a date-night vibe.

Visited a Fat Cactus for the first time and I was impressed…read more The restaurant is located right off of Route 46 and is HUGE! After being seated, I walked around the premises and saw a large room for private events, a vast area for outdoor seating, very nice wall artistry, and even a good-sized individual room for a private meal. Shyam was an exceptional Server. He took very good care of us and contributed to an enjoyable meal. I started with a Classic Margarita and it was served in a LARGE glass. So large, that I had to hand over the car keys, afterwards. The Fat Cactus complimentary chips and salsa was AMAZING. First, the salsa had chunks of tomato, onions, and lots of basil. It was so throughly enjoyed, that we asked for a second helping, which they gladly obliged. Our selections were: Chicken Tortilla Soup (Rich chicken broth flavored with onions, tomatoes, corn, black beans, finished with a dash of cream, crispy tortilla chips, avocado, sour cream, and cheese). This soup was served in a deep bowl, had a very nice presentation, and every spoonful was flavorful. The next item was the Burrito Michoacano (Shredded chicken seasoned with authentic Mexican spices, Mexican rice, black beans, pico de gallo, cheese, and chili arbol sauce). This Burrito was huge, all of the ingredients were well seasoned, and I took some home to enjoy during the NFL playoffs. The final item was the Tamales Chicken Pastor (Homemade masa tamales, stuffed with Chicken Al Pastor, served with red enchilada sauce, and topped with creamy sour cream). I'm glad, that I discovered Fat Cactus and will definitely revisit and/or dine at their New Brunswick location.

The staff I encountered were friendly & patient, which is shockingly not the norm these days! I ordered the tuna melt & fries & took a seat at the counter. I was the only one sitting along the counter, but there are also a few tables in the back that had parties at them. My food was ready relatively quickly & was served to me with a smile. The fries were of the steak cut variety, which aren't my favorite, but no fault of the delis - just my personal preference. They were cooked well & served hot - can't ask for much more! The tuna melt was actually a sandwich & not an open faced sandwich, as they tend to be, and I found that to be a pleasant surprise. Open faced tend to get soggy quickly. The tuna was aplenty & it was delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted & buttery as well. I do wish it was served with a pickle spear, though. Not sure if that's the norm & mine was forgotten or if it is not served as such. Either way, I'm obviously grasping at straws. Otherwise, it was a delightful lunch. I'm happy to have discovered The Cutting Board & even happier they are in the immediate area of my job, I will definitely be back to try more.
