I had the green goddess smoothie. It tasted like an ice cream almost because it was so rich and creamy, which I did not expect. I might go back to try something else but I had high hopes and left a bit disappointed.

Lol, actually as far as I'm concerned it's always a good time for any of their Super Tasty Wraps, Sandwiches, Bowls, Quesadillas, and Smooth Delicious Healthy Superfood Drinks. And as far as Drinks go I like the Detox Island Green Drink which is full of flavor and has no additional sweetness just pure fruits and vegetables.    Lately their Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wrap has grabbed my attention and it's so freakin flavorful that I find it hard to focus on literally anything else, lol. But this menu does have alot of other delicious mouthwatering options to choose from as well. Like their Toasted Turkey Sandwiches which I can tell you first hand are totally scrumptious. Fresh ingredients are very apparent here and can be clearly noticed throughout each amazingly delicious bite. At this point I was so applauded by the lack of service and cleanliness I took the order and left. So disgusted.

Whenever I'm visiting family in central NJ, Grounded for Life is a must visit for me…read more As a vegan, it's a real challenge to find decent - let alone GOOD - food in this area. The exception is Grounded for Life, which offers delicious breakfast and lunch options that are thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and satisfying. Their extensive, all vegan menu offers breakfast options such as bagel sandwiches, burritos, toasts, and more, and even their coffee is surprisingly good! I have also enjoyed their wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. And they even have burgers and hot dogs, too. GfL is my new spot for takeout (order ahead online to save time!) before heading to the airport. The chunky chicken wrap saved me when my flight back to the West coast (already a long journey) was delayed by several hours and I was starving. The cafe also has a number of yummy desserts displayed in the case that are great to-go. GfL also offers a "Meal Prep" option where you can order food on a weekly or monthly basis. Service is friendly and efficient, but they are sometimes understaffed. Try to be patient and nice, and your tasty food will be out soon enough. The cafe itself is pretty small with just a few tables indoors. The outdoor patio is more expansive, and I recommend enjoying your food and drinks outside if the weather is decent.

Wonderful selection coupled with a friendly, knowledgeable owners and staff--and it's a perfect combo. Not only is the store absolutely beautiful inside, they have amazing stuff that's fun to browse. I always pop in here for funky hostess gifts or "just because" presents. When I first started going here it was a typical small mom and pop organic type store but in the last year or two I have definitely noticed they've shifted their focus away from food products (probably because Dean's Market opened across the street) and made over the store's interior as well. It's really pretty and this improvement has made the store even better! I really love the huge and well organized selection of crystals.
