Their customer service is absolutely OUTSTANDING. After being totally scammed by another shop--who not only tried to sell me work I didn't need but charged me 400% over market for a shoddy belt and pulley install (that I had to bring back multiple times)--I finally had enough. Out of frustration, I searched for other shops and found Tosti's based on their incredible reviews, and now I know exactly why so many loyal customers keep coming back! The team at Tosti's was AMAZING. Not only did they instantly diagnose an issue with my car on the spot, but they also agreed to cover my belt and pulley repair at no cost, just so I wouldn't have to set foot in that previous dealership again. They did this with no fuss, no guilt--just a genuine desire to help me out of a bad situation. You can really tell this is a family business that puts people first. While I waited, I chatted with a gentleman who's been bringing his cars here for over ten years--even after moving to Boston 4-years ago! That tells you everything you need to know about how Tosti's treats its customers and stands by its work. If you want a reliable, fair, and friendly team who does things the right way every time, do yourself a favor and take your car to Tosti's. I'm a customer for life!

I agreed, expecting that the issue with the warning light would be resolved. When I picked up the car, the low oil light was still on. When I asked about it, the owner claimed that wasn't the reason I brought the car in -- which makes little sense, since the light was what prompted me to bring it in. Later, when I returned with my father to ask about the repair and see the old part, the conversation quickly turned hostile. Instead of explaining why the light remained on, the owner became defensive, accused me of name-calling (which I did not do), and even threatened to call the police while acting like a bully. It was an uncomfortable and intimidating experience. In his written response to my review, the owner repeated that he only replaced the oil pan because that's what we authorized. A professional shop would have acknowledged that the oil light would remain on unless additional issues were addressed before charging you $1,300. That type of honesty and communication is what customers expect. Instead, I left $1,300 poorer, still with the oil light on, and treated rudely when I asked questions. Fortunately, I was able to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this shop.

I decided to reach out to Framingham Automotive and couldn't be happier with the service I received from Joe the owner. I explained the situation and he didn't even want to hear my quote from the dealership before telling me to come in for a free estimate. I was there in a half hour and 45 minutes later he gave me an extremely reasonable quote for the entire job. Not only did he get the part the next day, but when I asked if it would be possible to move my installation from Monday to the current day, he was more than happy to accommodate for me. Joe is a consummate professional, and one of the most thoughtful mechanics I've ever worked with. He works his tail off and doesn't give you anything but the honest truth. I highly recommend Framingham Automotive to anyone who is looking for an honest repair shop. They've earned a lifelong customer in me and will do the same to you, I'm sure.

They came to pick it up, drove it 200 miles more than necessary, and failed to provide the maintenance records I've asked for over 15 times.
